Bed very comfortable. Staff very helpful. We were upgraded to a King room due to availability and it was a very good size.

There was no electric jug for making tea - had to use the microwave. There was no milk in the fridge for the tea - in New Zealand milk is always provided. The room was a bit hot at night.

4th floor room facing the street was very acceptable, with large comfy bed and more than adequate shower and bathroom. Had a small window that opened for ventilation (most hotel rooms do not) so did not have to rely on air conditioning. That said when used the conditioner was easy to operate, switched itself on and off at the correct temperature (and did not run continuously like some) and was relatively quiet i.e. was able to sleep through it. Our room cleaner was excellent and the staff on reception were very helpful. The Park Pub was very good for breakfasts and evening meals.

The location is excellent, right by the beach and the park, with lots of good restaurants nearby.

The bed was really comfortable in terms of the mattress / topper, but what was not comfortable was the way the bed was made, tightly and rigidly fixed in such a way that meant anyone taller than 5ft 4in could not fit in it, and would need to either remake the bed themselves or sleep diagonally, which is what we did, but it still felt like being strangled by the covers and still got cold. The bed needs to be made so the quilt and the cover can reach nearer the top of the bed, or preferably why not just provide quilts with covers and don't bother with fixing the sheets and quilt to the bed.

Great location. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. No Frills and Safeway supermarkets were a few blocks away. The beach was a block away. Bus stop right outside the hotel. Nice room (#211). Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, fridge and microwave in case you wanted store and warm up your food. More than sufficient for a solo traveller.

I didn't like the raised sink in the bathroom. It caused water to splash out onto the countertop. The hallways were a little messy, but the room itself was fine. The price was a bit high, though Vancouver is expensive.

Super location in a trendy, lively part of Vancouver. I actually could see the harbor and bay from my room window. Numerous interesting restaurants and shops within a block or two. Short walk to the Hudson Bay shoreline park. Since the price was lower than most places, I was expecting a fairly rundown hotel, but was pleasantly surprised by the excellent condition and cleanliness. The staff was friendly and helpful. For example, my friend rode her bike over to see me, and they said it was fine for her to store it in my room while we walked around town.

The room was very small for having two king-size beds. Not much room to move around in. The bed was too soft for my taste (I had requested a hard bed). The room was pretty noisy as it faced the street and had old 1960's single pane windows.

We had a great experience here! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating—they even held onto my bag for a few hours after I checked out, which made it so much easier to get to my appointments without lugging it around. The place itself was clean and nicely updated, which I really appreciated. I also grabbed a free breakfast at the pub and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. I had booked a city view room (mainly because it was more affordable), but I ended up being able to view the English Bay as well!

The washroom is kinda tight and the shower the shower head just had one setting/wasn't working properly so kinda spraying hard.

We arrived at 1am due to flight delays. Staff were helpful and took our cases for us. Quick check in. The location was excellent. Local shops and restaurants. A two minutes walk to the beach and then into Stanley Park. The room was comfy and spacious. Cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Staff very helpful or any queries about locations to visit.

The ac unit was very noisy so couldn't have it on during the night. Kept it on during the day so was cool enough to sleep.

The location was great and the bus stop was right out the front. Easy to get to on public transport from airpprt. The staff were lovely and helpful and gave us a room like we requested on one of the higher floors looking at the ocean side. The room was clean and the bed mattress was so comfortable. We love how it had a microwave and fridge.

It was very noisy at night time when trying to sleep with the trucks and cars going past in the street, you could hear everything going on in the street and the drunk people that came outside from the bar and the music. There was a little mouse running around in the room but it didn't bother us it just ran back into the window panel when it saw us.

Excellent location, comfortable bed and pillows. Nice staff. Just bring some earplugs if your facing the street. You get quite a bit of ocean view if your high enogh up, we were on the fourth floor.

Very noisy if you face Davie St. as there is a bar below the rooms and ;lots of foot traffic. It is not sound proof! Also you could hear people talking in the hall. The AC was noisy and kept turniing off with a message to change the filter. There was no fan in the bathroom, so the room was steamy . We opted ato stay in this room , because we had a decent ocean view....a trade off of sorts.

The location is excellent on English Bay,very close to the beach and sea walk to Stanley park. Second beach pool is close by and there are lots of restaurants with beach views. Transit buses stop outside hotel and are able to take you downtown and to the SkyTrain stations. Check in was smooth and we arrived early and were able to pre check in and have our bags put in the room. Breakfast was delicious. A choice of meal and drink from the restaurant bar 'the Park' just below hotel. Room was clean and comfy and had a balcony onto Davie with some sea views
