Great for coming off a cruise ship and staying on for a couple of days. A full apartment size with cooking, fridge, washer and drier. Separate bedroom and over bath shower. Calm neighbourhood, easy walk to Stanley Park, a Safeway across the road, liquor store next door to Safeway and lots of little restaurants/food stores although mostly Asian. A bus runs outside but we opted to walk or Uber for further distances. Lots of signs, but they make sense, not just the usual don't do this, don't do that.

There are building works next door and they may well disrupt your peace and quiet. It wasn't too bad for us but we are up at that hour anyway and out most of the day. For some reason the apartment was very warm even though all the heaters and air con type things were off. It became a problem when we opened the windows to cool down and of course the noise came in. As our stay was only 30 hours, we did not ask reception.

Our suite overlooking Denman Street was charming and well equipped. We loved the location with plenty of restaurants nearby and the supermarket across the road if you want to self cater. It’s also close to transport with buses on Robson and Denman. The waterfront area is a short walk away as is the heritage area of West End.

It can get a bit stuffy on warm days. Fortunately the windows can be opened to let in some fresh and this was in early June. I think you would need to keep the aircon running on hot days. It can get a bit noisy on weekends.

I had a great stay overall. The suite is spacious, clean, and very well-organized. The location is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need — from a washing machine and dishwasher to a TV and stove — and everything was clean and in good working condition.

While the kitchen had all the necessary utensils and appliances, it didn’t include any basic ingredients like salt or olive oil. I had to purchase those myself, and since I couldn’t take them with me, it felt a bit inconvenient. Also, although everything worked well, some of the equipment and furnishings felt a little dated — a light renovation would definitely enhance the experience. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this place. With a few small updates, it would be close to perfect.

We had the absolute best stay right from the second we spotted the building. We were helped inside by one of the front desk workers, he didn't hesitate to help us immediately. We were arriving very early and they were eagerly waiting to check us in and even offer us an upgrade because of our special circumstances. The room was amazing, the cleanest hotel we've been in. The room had absolutely everything you could imagine, the kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need, even a pie plate!! It was the cutest place and so welcoming. We have no complaints, the location was amazing, right near brekka bakery which is open 24 hours, I highly recommend going there for late night treat hauls then store it in your hotel rooms big fridge!!! Seriously this place was the greatest, it felt straight out of gilmore girls, It definitely gave off stars hollow vibes (iykyk) but with all the bright lights and fast pace of vancouver right outside the door. We felt so at home inside our little apartment style layout. The staff were amazing. This place was amazing. We only stayed 3 nights but it was the most memorable time. The hotel even offers a roof top patio that is totally covered over head so you can sit out and enjoy the rain, or any kind of beautiful weather. You'll be surrounded by plants that are so well taken care of. You can bbq, or just sit and enjoy some company. Being up there and enjoying the view was definitely a highlight. We usually stay at the sandman on davies when we come, and yes the view they offer is amazing, but no service they've offered will ever top the service offered at the time square hotel. This hotel is friendly, welcoming, and they just really care and they go above and beyond to show it. Also again, I want to highlight how clean it was, there will be no worries for you if you stay at this hotel. ALSO, THE BEDS WERE SO COMFORTABLE, EVEN THE SOFABED WAS GREAT!!! Highly highly highlyyyyy recommend

I only stayed 3 days!!! THAT SUCKED. wish it could of been so much longer!!!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our apartment was perfect, with a balcony overlooking a pretty blossom lined street. The staff had made it feel very welcoming by switching on lamps and the fireplace, it had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well supplied with items we would need, a big fridge, washing machine and dryer. Even washing up liquid and cloths. The beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. It was very clean and spacious. The location was great, very close to Stanley park, the beach, transport and shops/restaurants. A supermarket was across the street. We had the perfect stay and didn’t want to leave! We plan to visit again one day.

Beautiful room had all you needed and pleasant decor, we stayed just for one night but one could easily stay there for a little while as the studio type room felt like a little home. We were two friends traveling and the pull out sofa was a great option and there was still plenty of space. Friendly and kind staff. Able to check in early, I think it wasn't even midday. Very comfortable stay and obviously the location is awesome. Appreciated the offer to stay parked before and after check-in/out.

Can't think of anything (other than the price, though we got a great deal with this considering the average Vancouver value/price).

The hotel is located in a charming and quiet neighbourhood; plenty of great dining options nearby; close to Stanley Park, the Robson Street shopping area and of English Bay; the suite was extremely clean, comfortable and well appointed with a fireplace; staff were professional and efficient; overall, it felt like a very good complement to enjoy Vancouver like a local;

The location is a little off the main public transportation lines, so a little more complicated to get there from the airport…but it’s a very acceptable compromise considering all the other advantages offered by the hotel;

Perfect location to Stanley Park , English Beach and Robson Street. There are cafes and restaurants galore, a Safeway across the road and a Starbucks next door. Team member Rob went above and beyond when assisting us with checkin : he enquired about our booked tours and even called tour operators to arrange hotel pickup : he’s a legend and should be celebrated for his great service! We weren’t impacted at all by the traffic, that other have mentioned: they do have ear plugs in the rooms if required.

The location in terms of the area to explore was top-notch. I think it had one of the best laundry areas I have ever used in holiday accommodation - the dryer actually dried our clothes in a short period of time. The bed was very comfortable. The shower worked really well, once I’d managed to climb into the bath 😉

The location in terms of overlooking busy Denham Street was very noisy. It was lovely to have windows we could open, but sometimes the level of noise, especially at night, saw us leaving them closed. There was only one old noisy air-conditioner in the bedroom so at times the living area was very warm. The fan helped a bit. In fact we used the fan in the bedroom overnight when sleeping as it was quieter than the aircon and provided the movement of air that was ideal for sleeping soundly. As the shower is over the bath, it may be difficult for elderly folk to navigate.
