There are several nuances when you considering this property: 1. Get used to that fact that if case you require any help, all communication will be through application and IT WILL TAKE TIME!, there is no reception or concierge, who can assist immediately. Personnel on site is limited and will assist ONLY when you send your request via chat. Chat Operator ( who is also not on sight, has no or minimal knowledge about property) will take time to reply on your request or question. There is no such thing as sense of urgency here. 2. Go through verification online process prior your arrival, submit docs, face recognition. Get access code for the main entrance and your unit. It will smooth your arrival, save your time and energy. 3. Get ready to pay extra 60 CAD every time you would like to have cleaning service, as it is not included. 4. No parking available 5. No laundry service, laundromat or washing machine 6. No safety box in the room 7. No privacy if you open blinds, as all the windows of other units are overlooking to the hotel yard 8. Check in by 16:00, check out by 11:00 9. Non smoking hotel 10. No mail or packages service at the property On the other hand there are also good points such as: 1. Excellent location, walking distance to Stanley Park and Coal Harbour Marina, Denman Mall, Drug Store, coffee shops, small restaurants, pubs, bakeries, post office, banks, currency exchange point, bikes rental etc 2. If you managed by chance to meet a staff member, everyone is welcoming and approachable. 3. Value for money 4. Cleanliness of the room 5. Kitchenette (big fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cookware) 6. Tea/coffee amenities 7. WiFi 8. All appliances are clean and in excellent condition 9. TV, with online streaming service 10. Terrace with seating area 11. Closet 12. Shower amenities 13. Some essentials are available in the lobby of hotel, you can take at any time.

Technical issues with heating for several days during my stay in December caused inconvenience, as it was not warm enough in the room.

Location was good. Close to restaraunt, shops, public transport. Room was well appointed modern and clean.

There was no reception. There was no staff on the premises. Access was via codes, apps and non human infrastructure. It was odd and disappointing that an accomodation facility did not see it important to provide its guests some form or personal service.

This is an excellent location - near Stanley Park, English Bay and Granville Island. It's easy to get buses into town, Grouse Mountain etc. The area has a Safeway supermarket but also loads of cafes and restaurants. The room was very comfortable with air con/heating options, fabulous bed with plenty of pillows and towels, crockery, cutlery etc.provided, as well as tea, coffee, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and bathroom toiletries. What is really good is that this Sonder has a lobby area with seating, WiFi, toilet etc. so if you arrive early or are waiting for a taxi after check-out you can do so in comfort. The luggage room being available before check in and after check out, and at no extra cost is a real bonus. Very comfortable and in a great location- would stay again.

Nit-picks really. Some hooks by the door or a drying rack for clothes would be a good idea as when we came in with wet coats there was nowhere practical to put them. A couple of hooks on the bathroom door would be good too. It would also have been nice if the blinds fully covered the windows instead of having gaps between them. However, these are minor issues and just suggestions to enhance the experience, not complaints.

It was my first experience staying with Sonder. I was pleasantly surprised to experience such a flawless trip. Obviously parking was an issue since it was not available in the local neighborhood. The cost offsets the valuation some but overall it was a great experience. !

As stated in my previous comments parking was $23/overnight stay per night. The app is unclear as to how to order fresh towels. The cost of cleaning services was a bit excessive. Being new to Sonder requires the experience to better understand the cost valuation for your stay.

The room was modern and clean. Kitchen was perfect. Bed was huge with six pillows. Plenty of storage. Shower was modern. Room faced a back street and was so quiet that I got used to it and was startled at the rare times I heard noises. The location is ideal with nearly everything within walking distance. A parking garage is attached to the hotel. Huge variety of restaurants close by. Grocery stores close by. Easy entry to building and room without keys or cards. Sonder personnel quite helpful.

Frankly, I can't think of improvements.

Liked pretty much everything. The apartment had a balcony and comfortable bedroom area. The kitchen had everything needed including basics like coffee and condiments and the bathroom was spacious with a really good shower. The location couldn't have been better - plenty of places to eat and drink and convenient for buses (Nos 5/6) for getting downtown. Short walk to Stanley park and English Bay beach

Well, nothing really but there should be no-smoking notices on the balconies as cannabis is legal and available everywhere and it shouldn't be used on site

The location is very good and close to many to the attractions and places we wanted to visit. The size of the room and having the kitchenette was very nice. The room was very clean and well set up and stocked. The convenient supermarket and pharmacy located in the adjacent mall were very helpful.

The bed was very flimsy, unstable (the support pegs under the bed were bent) and the mattress uncomfortable so we didn't get a proper night's rest. The hotel had a bit of a dingy (basement like) smell to it, the room itself didn't smell. The parking was not very clear and bit expensive. You can pretty much hear everything from the next room who also tried pairing their phone to our room TV several times.

Great location; clean, tasteful design; everything looks very new. Very friendly staff. Nice lobby.

Stupid modern design of sinks/taps -- instead of having a sink with a larger surface the taps come out of, and that surface uneven so that water spillage flows into sink and surrounding worktop remaining dry, the taps came out of the flat worktop surrounding the sink, resulting in water spillage flooding everything else and kitchen work surface / bathroom washstand surface being unsuitable for depositing anything on it that is supposed to remain dry -- looks swanky but is not functional. One is constantly forced to wipe water off... Would also be nice to have some kitchen scissors.

I was greeted by staff, even I could access by code. I was help to find my room and deliver the baggage.all questions were addressed. The bed and clean bedding, kitchenet tools, refrigerator, appliances in oerfec5 modern condition. The most important quietness in steps to downtown, trolley bus around the owner, supermarket, and many restraints, veggie and fruits market, and many more what you need to feel home. Just next building is Dollarama - kind of mall where you even can find chiropractor and dentists, hopefully you didn’t needed. I just bought there grocery:)

I didn’t get that I was charged sooner, before deadline for cancelation policy as security payment, and after that I was not able to change a credit card. Otherwise, I would use other card for payment which not take fee and % conversion from $US to $Can, not the card I put when booked a room. But it’s not hotel’s fault. I just overlooked it.

No breakfast was offered. Just coffee.

Pillows were too soft. No wall clock anywhere. Chairs were not clean. Hair dryer kept dying on us. No daily Housekeeping Services? Hallways rugs, walls could be cleaner.
