Everything. This hotel is beyond exceptional, beyond 5 stars. An old and historic building minutes from the Charles Bridge and a main entry into old town Prague, the hotel has a stories history and baroque feel to it. The location couldn't be better to explore this section of the city... but that's just the beginning of this hotel's story. Hotel quality, in our experience, is very much a reflection of the staff. The entire team at Charles Bridge Palace are simply exceptional in their care for the experience of their guests! To the team at the front desk, the team in the very delicious buffet breakfast room, the cleaning crew that keeps the rooms and the entire property immaculate... thank you...and cheers! We stayed for 9 wonderful days and will happily come back! To the front desk staff... thank you, thank you, thank you, especially Dan.. Your guidance and assistance in helping arrange various experiences from airport transportation to classical concerts to day-tours made our stay in Prague very much easier and more enjoyable! Once again... an exceptional hotel with an extraordinary staff, and the ideal base from which to explore a truly magnificent city and meet its welcoming people!

Very well located historic feeling hotel. Excellent value for the money. There was a huge breakfast and the tram was just steps out the door. The hotel is also right smack in the middle of the old town. Worth noting: the AC was among the most effective we’ve encountered in Europe. The room was capable of being absolutely frigid which was great on a hot day.

It’s not that we didn’t like it but we opted for the budget room without thinking about the fact that it didn’t have windows to the outside. Since we still had a tad of jet lag it was sometimes hard to wake since the room was quite dark in the morning. However, this was our choice and some people might appreciate a dark morning.

Huge room #118 looking at the river right across from the Charles Bridge. A young gentleman who checked us in gave us information about the public transportation, good restaurants, etc. He was very helpful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to everything - walked to everywhere except Prague Castle (a short tram ride). Breakfast menu changed daily and there were fresh salads every day. Large room, nice shower, very comfortable and great staff.

Our room #118 was far from the WiFi router and signal was very weak - keeps dropping connections so it was almost nonexistent. We used WiFi when we ate breakfast instead. Please install WiFi “repeater” so that we can get descent signal. I would like different painting in the living room (and maybe in the bedroom) - we prefer nice and peaceful ones like the ones on the hallway. Tram runs right by the room so it is noisy until around midnight. Friday night, we heard people talking very loud until 3 am (hotel gave us ear plugs and it helped some).

They responded well to issues we had during our stay.. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The building and decor is amazing and so well maintained.

We were woken twice at 7am by a "technician" outside our door scraping and painting! If you book a double room with riverside view, beware the trams. On the first floor it's like being on top of an undergrpund station! On the third floor it's a little quieter and they do tend to calm down around midnight but they're up and about again very early. Maybe less cakes and more eggs and wider choice off proper breakfast food.

Gorgeous, spacious room with lovely decor - loved the huge chandelier! Nice to have a separate dressing room with the wardrobe etc. Large bathroom with probably the best shower I've experienced in a hotel. Large, comfortable bed. Our room was dual aspect, with a city view (though basically just the road towards the Charles Bridge) and a glorious river view. Everything worked perfectly, and all was very clean with lots of room and storage. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Interesting and beautiful decor around the hotel. Breakfast had absolutely everything you'd wish for. Location was perfect, very close to the Charles Bridge. What more can I say? Absolutely wonderful and highly recommended.

The only tiny niggle would be that it would have been nice to have had a large duvet that covered both of us, rather than two single duvets (the bed was two singles pushed together). I appreciate that it makes it easier for the hotel, but it's not as comfortable for a couple.

Great hotel in excellent location- close to Charles Bridge. Period style hotel with beautiful furniture. Spacious rooms. Central reception open 24 hours. Large breakfast room serving a large selection of hot and cold foods for breakfast.

We had an issue with no hot water in our room This was an issue on the second floor in general as guests in room beside us was the same as was our sons in room also on second floor. Problem persisted for three days with no hot water in shower or sink. Each day we were told it was fixed. On the day before we left they offered to move us rooms but we were leaving very early the next morning so seemed pointless to move at that stage. A shame as this was the only issue we had with our stay!

The accommodation is in a great location, all within walking distance. It's clean, tidy and if you like a bit of old-world style you'll love it. Breakfast is generous.

Parking is available at the property but is located in another hotel, about 5 minutes away. There is no on-site parking, so if you want to use it you have to give the car keys and a colleague will park the car for you. This is not, I think, a very friendly solution. As an optional option it would be great but to completely remove it from the parking lot would be a real waste. I don't think that everyone is happy to give their car to a stranger in a strange place, especially if there is no question of responsibility. There is also an underground car park 5 minutes away and the price is the same.

Handy location for pretty much all the sites. Easy walking distance. Also has a tram stop just round the corner so you can easily get to places like the zoo. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was superb, with different things being offered on different days to keep things interesting, although you have to time it right because it can be busy. We had a suite with an upstairs bedroom and a sofa bed downstairs which worked well for 2 adults and a child. It also had 2 bathrooms which was very handy for getting ready.

The down side of being in a good location is there's a noisy club round the corner which you can hear the pumping bass from, and it seems to empty out at about 5am with people screaming, which will wake you up! Plus the aforementioned tram stop might wake you as the tram pulls away and rings its bell. Also, my bed was very squeaky, so I woke myself and my wife every time I turned over!

Very nice location near to charles bridge 2mins walk 250meters near then 5-8mins walk to old town or main square very near to the main squares and all the store location rate to 10 the hotel is good room is clean and spacious luxurious then the customer service is top notch the staff very kind and accomodating helping me in my airport transfer and tours then they prepare breakfast for us very superb thank you charles bridge I highly recommend your hotel
