Good central location in Melbourne. We paid for a park view which was nice. Apartment / Room was spacious for two people and well appointed. Small but adequate balcony. Good TV Package of Channels. Everything modern and working properly. Room cleaning once a week which was perfect for us as we did not wish to be disturbed whilst sleeping & recovering from long journey / jetlag. No breakfast included but kitchen was fine and supermarket only one block away. Hotel cafe on ground floor open for breakfast only if you wanted.

Room was nicely decorated but ceiling was bare concrete - a little strange.

The staff was exceptional. Our flight was delayed and I had to check in very very late in the evening (after hours). She went out of the way to help me, and then also to book additional rooms for my extended family who ended up being stranded from another airbnb. Location is excellent. Just outside a tram stop and train station. Also, always a bonus to have a fridge, kettle and basic cooking facilities.

The soap dispenser did not stop leaking onto the bathroom counter. Admittedly, I did not ask for this to be fixed as we were only staying a few nights (so they wouldn't have known), however, you could see from the stained cabinetry that this was an existing and ongoing issue for that room.

5 day stay in Melbourne before travelling on Sydney , location was good for easy access to all of the attractions , Mint bar on corner nice handy place for a quick pint , Bourke st Fitzroy all easy tram journeys , make good use of the free trams , you won’t need Uber . FBO shopping on the docks worth a visit so are the bars and restraints . Hotel is ideal position clean and if you get the option ask for a park view I was in room 13 on 15th floor and lovely view over the park and the city . Make sure you have a trip to St kilda nice tram journeys in and some nice cake shops shopping and great coastline

Great location. Early check in avaliable. Our tv was outdated and we were having trouble with it. However Bobby came and replaced the TV alltogether. Really impressive customer service Thankyou !

Our room we originally booked was no longer avaliable so we were downgraded at the same price.However we were promised a free late check out to accomodate for this but this wasn’t passed on to the reception on the day of our check out. as we were told it would be a $20 charge no exceptions. The lady on reception was rude and blunt. It put a dampener on the end of our great trip.

The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient—just within 40 meters (a 1-minute walk) to both the train station and tram stop. It’s only one stop away from Southern Cross Station, making it super easy to reach from the airport. During my stay, I wasn’t disturbed by any noise, likely because fellow guests on my floor were considerate. The in-room fridge and microwave were very handy, especially for reheating leftover bread for breakfast. Note that you’ll need to request trash bags at the front desk and take your garbage to the disposal room yourself.

One funny quirk: The sink faucet splashes water everywhere no matter how you adjust the flow—every time I washed my face, the counter looked like a flood zone! 😂

Liked the size of the room. it was very spacious and had a nice kitchenette and roomy living area. The view was fantastic could see the sun set and lovely view of the gardens. The bed was also very comfortable and i had a good sleep. There was also a 24hr laundry which was useful.

The furnishings were a bit old and dated, although i'm generally not too fussed about that. the toilet was missing, shampoo, conditioner and body wash and i only discovered this on the second day that they had removed them and were supposed to replace but didnt, It was only when i saw housekeeping along the corridor that i managed to get some body wash.

The room was very spacious, big comfortable bed & large TV to watch The apartment had everything you needed to make you feel at home. Good kitchen facilities, the room included a iron, safe, mini shampoo, body wash etc Great location, right by many tram lines, metro, shops, lovely park opposite & 10 minute walk to the Queen Victoria Market

The balcony was always in the dark as its shaded by the overlooking buildings so we didn't use it during our stay unfortunately Also the gym was good but I would have liked to see a dumbell rack with free weights, think there was only 2 sets of light dumbells

Location was great as it was close to the Queen Victoria Markets and most restaurants. Room was nice and big.

Air con was stuffed and I advised the front desk. They offered another room and I declined but their maintenance staff never showed up. On check out, I advised them again but I feel it won't have been fixed for the next person. The front desk staff were a hit and miss. Most of the days, the staff were great but there were one or two that felt like that working at the Oaks was a chore. Maybe update your TVs so you can stream others entertainment apps.

Great location, great room on 19th floor overlooking the park with fabulous views of the sunsets! Nice spacious apartment with good sized fridge/freezer and oven, microwave toaster and kettle. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Reasonable gym and good laundry facilities.

Had to ask for missing kitchen equipment - oven shelf, oven trays, vegi peeler, dinner plates, chopping board and a decent knife for cutting veg etc. I guess they dont expect many people to cook meals in the apartments?? It was sorted and replaced within an hour of asking though so can't really complain.

I’ve stayed before and love the location and transport options. Also the balcony is great.

The room definitely wasn’t that clean. I noticed what looked like a sock that had definitely been in the bathroom a long time, under the side of the cupboard. (I understandably didn’t touch it so is probably still there. I always check under things when I leave a hotel room but wouldn’t have seen it if I was thorough!) Also the windows to the balcony were COMPLETELY covered in hand prints. I didn’t get a picture of it, though in hindsight wish I had (I didn’t get one because I avoided pictures with the door in it, because of the smears of hand prints!) Also, the aircon didn’t work at all, but I didn’t mention that to the staff and definitely should have. I would have if it was a bit hotter. In previous stays I don’t recall any of these issues.
