We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views and the beautifully decorated rooms. The pool area was a perfect spot to relax, and enjoying a cold beer on the terrace with view at mount Watzmann was a highlight of our evenings. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of choices to suit all tastes. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the center, and it was easy to reach all the other places we wanted to visit. Every detail, from the room decor to the amenities, was thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. We can't wait to return!

Our stay at AlpinaRos was lovely, such an amazing view from outside the room and breakfast area. The staff were incredible. We didn't realise the room didn't have a fridge but we were able to keep our small cold goods at the front desk fridge. The breakfast was superb, best breakfast we had during our one month holiday in Europe. Parking was great for our rental car, and short walk to the main area of town. The view was just sublime. Room was comfy, slight dated but totally fine. Really welcoming staff and we appreciate the high level of kindness and support.

The staff are professional and fluent in English. They welcome you with a smile. If rooms are available, they are flexible to provide you an early check-in. The breakfast here is great. I loved their fried bacon. They have a sauna. It isn't an 8 minutes walk from the train station and the bus station.

My single-bed room did not have a heating radiator.

Loved everything. The view from our room was stunning. The room was big and comfortable and spotless. Reception staff were friendly and helpful with all our queries. Breakfast was a buffet with a good selection. 5 minute uphill walk into town and 5 minute downhill walk to the bus and train station. Hotel gave us passes for free travel on all local bus services (we travelled free from the bus station to Eagles Nest and Lake Konigsee) and discounts off some attractions like Eagles Nest entrance fee. We didn’t use the pool or sun loungers but they were available

Beautiful property in keeping with the style of the area. It had a traditional feel and was spotless! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, breakfast was delicious and little added touches like bathrobes, an umbrella and a rucksack in the room all added touches of thoughtfulness. The location was wonderful and in a such a beautiful part of Germany. Transport links (bus and rail) were all easily accessible and some absolutely breathtaking walks were close by.

Memorable stay. Beautiful location, character and ambiance of hotel is like a postcard, Franz greeted my daughter and I with an enthusiastic and informative welcome. The morning staff made sure we had a fulfilling day in Berchtesgaden to make the most of our short stay. They gave us so much of their time - and taste of gluhwein - after all, it was the Christmas season. Would love to return for a longer stay.

Franz was absolutely outstanding in his customer service. He gave me great advice and answered all of my hundreds of questions happily. I arrived late and missed the spa so he ensured that I could go in the next day(although I was only staying one night), as it is only open 2-8pm. I really appreciated that as the spa was part of the reason why I booked this hotel. Thank you Franz for being so helpful! You're a star! I hope your manager recognises you for being so good at your job. Also, the hotel is stunningly beautiful. The views are impeccable. My balcony had the best view and so did the breakfast room. The breakfast was the best I've ever experienced. They had EVERYTHING! I travel a lot and honestly, just amazing! My room was comfy, lovely and clean, bathroom had a lovely shower and again, the view! Comfy bed. Spa jacuzzi and sauna were so relaxing. I stored my luggage through the day and it was kept safe and I was also given a bus pass to visit the lake. Wonderful thought. Thanks for one of the best stays I've ever had! I will definitely be back and recommending you to everyone I know.✨✨✨

Nothing to do with the hotel, but I'd planned to visit the Eagle's nest but hadn't realised it's seasonal due to avalanche risk, etc. Just a heads up for anyone planning this to check it out first.

The staff at AlpinaRos are fantastic, especially Franz! He was so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The hot tub/spa area, and will only get better with the current addition of the pool. The view from our room was amazing and we were very happy with our location so close to town and the bus stop.

Nothing about the property, however we did have 3 of the rooms surrounding us playing music, chanting, singing and laughing through the night until 3am. This was unfortunate as we had to be up at 5:30am to travel and couldn’t sleep on our last night. It would be good if that was managed by staff but we understand it wasn’t their fault.

The staff were all amazingly helpful and courteous. We loved the location for its closeness to the Berchtesgaden HBF station and the main shopping/dining area. Although, there is one steep incline to get to hotel and one to get to the main dining and shopping area. If we had mobility issues it may have been difficult getting around. The guest pass that gave us discounts at certain places and free bus rides to further attractions was a nice surprise. I believe it is included with all rooms. The rooms are rustic, cottage type but the lounge and breakfast area seemed newly updated. We had a lovely view from our first floor room patio/balcony. They just added a pool too!

We really enjoyed our stay at AlpinaRos. Breakfast was in a relaxing setting with a wide choice of food available. Our room was comfortable. The spa area was relaxing after a day of touring around. Very friendly and helpful staff, pointing out the town features and a good walk which goes along a high route above the town. Location is ideal if arriving by train, a short walk from the station with a small uphill section. From the hotel it is only a short walk to the town centre, with a shortcut through a very beautifully maintained cemetery. Highly recommend.
