Thought it was great vallue for money. Dont share the sentiment where bathroom/rooms are too small. Thought it was good enough for what you pay. Very clean and as well staff was very friendly. Too nothing.

Maybe not something that is Ibis fault. But the location at the station is found a little dodgy. Drug addicts and other shady figures roaming around didnt give my daughter a feeling of safety in the evenings. But again nothing Ibis can do about!

Very handy to the main train station . Very clean compact room with a large comfortable bed! Bathroom small but adequate- new and clean. Good big window to open for fresh air and a cooler for the warm nights.

Did not realise the hotel so far from the old town. Easy to access by bus but not a great area to stay - both for lack of restaurants and the seedy area around the hotel.

The room was quite decent and very clean. Its window faced the main avenue, and it was pretty quiet in the evening. The location of the hotel is great—right next to the train station. You can catch several buses and trams from there, going to the city center and other parts of Heidelberg. The breakfast was excellent: a selection of cold meats, scrambled eggs, bacon, various cheeses, and plenty of vegetables and fruits. You can even make your own waffles. The staff were very friendly and professional.

What I didn’t like is not specific to this hotel, but rather about the Ibis brand in general—it has become very minimalistic in recent years. The room didn’t even have a small wardrobe, an electric kettle, or a mini fridge. That being said, if you just need a clean and comfortable place to sleep at a reasonable price, and you don’t need those extra facilities during your stay, then Ibis is a good choice

Nice location, just next to the central train station. Value for money. Clean, tidy and cozy rooms. Hygienic spacious private bathroom & toilet. Well maintained amenities like elevators, in case someone has issues climbing staircases. Friendly helpful staff ensured smooth check-in and check-out.

Nothing to dislike. Liked the stay, best value for money. Just keep in mind, that the hotel is around 30 minute walk (at brisk pace) from the famous Heidelberg castle and old town area.

Was very close to the station and the tram, and it was easy to visit places when we wanted to. It’s great value for money for a twin room. It is rather small but for what I paid I’m happy with my one night stay. The staff were also very helpful and stored our luggage securely whilst we were sightseeing.

The bathroom was very small but again, everything worked perfectly.

Most staff were nice, friendly and helpful when interacting face to face. The location is great.

I had an extremely unpleasant online interaction with one particular male staff called Sven Schmid. Long story short, he is a liar. The detailed story is below if anyone is keen to read: When my reservation was made, I contacted the hotel almost 4 weeks in advanced enquiring about their parcel reception policy. We had multiple interactions including 2 day before parcel arrival. The hotel kept assuring me that all was in order and they can accept my parcels. However On the day of my parcel arrival, Sven Schmid rejected my parcel! He lied that booking.com did not confirm my reservation. All my efforts done in those 4 weeks had gone to waste and my parcel was returned to sender. I had to pay The seller for the returned parcel! I told him I will mention him in this review.

The location was superb - just outside the main train station - didn't even have to cross the road. Trams and buses 1 min walk away. Bus 20 takes you directly to the Castle and Funicular. Food outlets nearby. Great breakfast was included. Beds were super comfy.

There was nothing we could fault with our one night stay here. would have loved to stay longer.

I liked the facilities that I got at ibis, including breakfast and luggage storage facility. I would surely recommend my friends to consider ibis for their next stay :)

The location is at railway station, so there were some noises from the train, although the windows and sound cancellation was pretty good but maybe it can be better :) and the wifi was little bit slow and can be improved as well.

The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed for a brief stay. Although it was warm outside, the room had an air conditioner unit with which we managed to get the temperature as down as 10 degrees. The location is right outside the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof and all the bus and train stops are within a 2-minute walk. Taxi stand is just outside the Ibis entrance. The breakfast was tasty and had good variety.

The room gets noisy during day time as it faces the main railway station however once the windows are closed there is no disturbance. Also, I did not find any refreshments in the room such as a Hot water kettle and coffee/tea. I had found such refreshments at other Ibis locations such as in Zurich.

Great hotell with friendly staff. Just next to the hotel there is already a kebab and breakfast place, though we didn't visit them. And it's super easy to get to the center, the bus and tram comes just next to the hotel. Definitely recommendable! And we got the highest floor with nice views, with cute parrots seen from the window in the tree :)
