The apartment was comfortable and a good size. It was in a nice quiet neighbourhood away from the tourist area but close enough for a 15-20 minute walk to the old town. There was an underground station nearby if we didn't want to walk. Cafes, pubs and supermarkets were only a short stroll away.

The apartment was in a separate building to the main building and the pool. It was a little inconvenient to go for a swim in a separate building especially with a child. The pool was also a bit cold.

1. Coffee machine in room was great. 2. Good to have to the ability to cast to the Tv (as most channels otherwise were in German understandably) 3. Check out of midday was fantastic. 4. The hotel looked after our bags after check out til our train in the evening

1. TV turned itself on randomly. Twice when we entered the room on different days it was on (despite no room service unless requested - which we didn’t) - also turned itself on at 4am one night - very odd. 2. Went to the hotel restaurant for dinner on a Saturday night at 8pm only to be told the kitchen is closed so a drink was the only option - bit disappointing especially for a Saturday. 3. Main bedroom light wasn’t working - switch on the wall did nothing so we used the bedside lamps

The room was comfortable, as was the disabled friendly bathroom. The restaurant offered very good food for dinner. The pool was clean and we were alone there. Hotel manager came across the street to our building to assist us with the TV and other technology in the room.

We could not order coffee or food/ snacks after 10 AM. The pool was cold , though we understand energy conservation. Our room being in a separate building was a minor problem walking back from the pool On a cold day, it would be a bigger problem.

Cleaning of the apartment is done really nicely during our stay, really thick curtains help to sleep good even during early morning/day time, apartment kitchen is very well equipped, reception and restaurant staff is very helpful, good breakfast, zoo and cable car is 10-15 minutes walk away, lot of shops, restaurants nearby, love the park nearby,

Apartment lift was not working, not a big issue, but family with kids and luggage can be a bit of issue,

It wasn’t in the centre of the city which was nice because it meant it was quiet. But it was close enough that it was 7 minutes away by public transport or 25 minute walk from the cathedral. The staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was good.

My Mrs found the pillows too soft but I didn’t mind them so that’s down to personal preference. So not really a dislike.

size of the room

Room was in another building and with a kid it was unconvinied to use amenities. Room was not the one from pictures and it was not that clean.... Building was full of teenagers having Bachelorette party or something so they woke us up at 6:30 coming from party ... they where not that loud in the hotel though or we where lucky to be far away from them (first floor) ... overall it was an ok stay especially if you are family with kids

Hotel was well located close to the metro lines, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked the hotel to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and they arranged a nice surprise in our room and a customized card, she loved it!

No restaurant or bar for evening food and nowhere it was mentioned. Luckily there are some restaurant choices close by.

Breakfast was really good, I definitely enjoyed making myself a waffle! The selection of cheeses, meat cuts and jams for your pastry was great. As someone mentioned, it’s not really well organised, but I guess there’s some reasoning behind it :) Hotel has two buildings, we lived in the new one (I guess). I know there is a pool in the hotel, but unfortunately I didn’t have time to try it out. The location is nice, metro is near and it’s a 10-minute walk from the central train station (and the Dom).

The room was ok, but walking to another building for breakfast isn’t really convenient. We had a nespresso coffee maker with some capsules (not really tasty) and no kettle, which was disappointing, since you can’t have your evening cup of tea 😕 The cleaning could have been much better! I can’t say that the room was dirty, but it’s something you notice. Clean towels had other people’s hair :( Shower cabin wasn’t the most convenient, water got to the bathroom floor etc.

Swimming and sauna facility was great. Food was wide spread and tasted great. Rooms were cozy, clean and safe. The location was close to the river and restaurant. Neighbourhood was vibrant in the night. The cost of the room was very nominal.

Rooms were quite warm other than that it was fantastic for a stay.

M.Zain excellent service at reception, housekeeping did a good job by cleaning all around. Location is in a very quiet neighborhood.

Need to have bit hard pillows too, maybe an extra pillow or blanket in the closet will be great for apartment guests across the street, and water pressure in room 106 was not so good.
