Staff was very friendly and helpful. They hold our luggage for whole last day of our staying in Vienna and we are very grateful for that. The hotel had a warm atmosfere and lovely inside garden where guests can seat, enjoy and drink their coffee. Room was comfortable and clean with two windows and enough outside light during the day. Mattresses for sleeping also very nice.

The shower cabin leaked water, because the bottom of the cabin is a bit older. In the evening there was a lot of outside noise from the cars on the street, but we got earplugs in the room. Both did not significantly affect the comfort of our stay.

Great location (main transport hub) and close to the main shopping areas either on foot but easy to use the metro or tram options. While the facilities are not fancy or new they are functional and I thought the cleaning /housekeeping staff did such an exceptional job with our room every day (we stayed nearly a week) Cleanliness is super important and I would happily return because they really were consistent and thorough. The room also had a fridge which was convenient. The housekeeping staff were really helpful and polite. Also 24/7 complimentary tea and coffee station by the reception was a good and useful perk to get going and to unwind. Prices were very reasonable- so good value.

Some of the reception staff were not very helpful or welcoming. There was one lovely staff member) (a younger guy) that helped us a lot but he was kind of the exception which is too bad since the hotel has some very good points in its favour. In general the women at the reception tended to be far more polite or pleasant compared to the men. It sometimes felt like reception staff just didn’t want to be bothered or inconvenienced by your presence. The elevator is super cramped and slow.

This is our third time at this hotel. Excellent hotel, large room, very clean, good location - a minute walk from a Westbanhof station. Varied and delicious breakfast. We requested a baby cot when we booked the hotel but we did not receive it when we arrived to the hotel. The guy at the front desk said he would try to help us but we did not receive the bed for the first night. The next day we talked to the woman at the front desk and in less than an hour, the cot was already in the room. The service and staff are very kind. There is a free, 24hour coffee, tea and hot chocolate machine in the lobby. Highly recommended!

Stayed for 6 days, didn't have breakfast, didn't turn on the TV, so I can't rate it. The location of the hotel is very convenient - a 2-minute walk from the Westbannhof railway station, from where a bus to the airport leaves every 30 minutes around the clock. Near the metro and trams, so accessibility to any area is good. The hotel is located near the city center, 30-40 minutes walk to the Museum Quarter. Although the hotel is at a crossroads, the room was quite quiet. The hotel has an elevator. The single room is small but comfortable. Comfortable bed, clean linen. Good hair dryer, wi-fi in the room worked fine. Welcome bottle of water upon arrival. The bathroom has good lighting, there is a mirror with magnification. Liquid soap on the sink and in the shower with an inconvenient dispenser - too much soap comes out at one time. The towels were changed as soon as I put them on the floor - I didn't have to change them every day. Bed linen was changed after 3 days. 5 minutes from the hotel there is a wonderful Viennese restaurant Pulkauthaler, where you can have a tasty and not very expensive lunch. The hotel staff is friendly and kind.

The downside is that there is no kettle in the room. Although the hotel states that you can always drink coffee, tea or chocolate from the machine in the hotel lobby at the reception, the capsules in the machine were not changed often and instead of chocolate or coffee there was water that passed through the old capsule.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Clean rooms, cleaning lady comes everyday, good location. I didn’t have any view through my window, only to the wall, but it was so quiet outside, so it turned out as an advantage for me. Reception works 24h, so it wasn’t s problem to check out in the middle of the night.

The rooms are not soundproof, there is a space between the door and the floor so you can hear everything in the corridor. I also could hear running shower etc from other rooms. AC wasn’t working so it was a little bit hot, opening window wasn’t enough.

The location of the hotel was perfect. We went to a concert at Wiener Stadhalle and the hotel is like a 5 min walk away. Across the hotel (50 meters away) is Lidl and train station with shops,McDonald’s , Dunkin’ donuts and different shops. The hotel also offers a parking garage (19,00 EUR/ night). The room was great, spacious, clean. The tv was great and you can connect with your device, watch youtube etc. Sadly I didn’t take a lot of photos.

The bed was a bit curved in but still comfortable. And the air conditioning wasn’t working at the moment (they were fixing it) but we slept with the windows open so we actually didn’t need the AC.

Fantastic location. I was in Vienna for a concert and I really loved the location. There is a direct bus from the airport which has a stop pretty close to the hotel. It was only 7 minutes from the music venue, 5 minutes to the metro, tram stations pretty close. It only takes 20 minutes to get to the city center by metro, 35 minutes walk. Many places to grab a bite next to the hotel, supermarkets, coffee shops. I liked that the room had a small fridge where I could store a few things. Daily cleaning services provided. Would 100% stay here again if I were to return to Vienna.

Location could not be any more perfect. Steps from Westbahnhof station for trains and metro. Lots of food options and stores within station bt also other excellent restaurants within walking distance and perfectly safe and quiet to walk late at night. Even a supermarket across the street. Breakfast at hotel from 7am - hot cooked food, fresh pastries and breads, cereals, yoghurts, juices, cold cut station and coffee/tea machine available 24/7.

Seal on shower door bottom to tub could be better to avoid pooling water on bathroom floor but nothing else could be better.

I had a good experience staying at Westbahnhof Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, which created a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The hotel is conveniently located near the West Train Station, making it a great choice for those traveling by rail. However, it’s worth noting that it’s not very close to the city center, so getting to the main attractions may require some extra time. The room was clean and comfortable, though I did feel it lacked a bit of warmth due to the absence of carpeting - a small detail, but it would have made the space feel cozier. One of the highlights of the stay was the breakfast: it was excellent, with a generous and varied selection of food that exceeded expectations. Overall, a reliable and comfortable option for a short stay in Vienna, especially if being near the train station is important.

Too far from the city center, the lack of carpeting in rooms

The hotel is old, but the rooms have been renovated - so, new beds, new furnishings, new toiletries, but old doors and windows. This however doesnt affect the comfortability of stay. It was warm enough, the room was daily cleaned, there was a smart tv in the room. The breakfast was excellent, very diverse and fresh. They even put proseco out for the Easter Sunday brunch :). The area is very quiet and safe. All in all, great value for money.

I would have appreciated more candid photos of the doors, but this really wouldnt have changed my overall feeling about the hotel.
