First of all, this hotel is very basic, more so than other Ibis hotels I stayed in - this one is more like a basic student hall of residence than a hotel. However, staff members I interacted with were exceptional, very friendly and professional, especially the young lady with long dark blond hair that checked me in. They made me feel welcome and made my stay comfortable. Overall I was happy with everything and felt I got good value for money.

On one side of the property, you hear the street noise and on the other side, you hear the tram. Personally, I have found the tram noise a lot easier to tolerate than the traffic noise. Either way, do not expect complete silence.

Overall a good accommodation option for a few nights in Vienna. Special thanks for the early check-in option, and generally good breakfast food options! Stable wifi for calls.

It should be noted that the room was not in the best condition: stains on the walls and carpet, blinking light bulbs in the bathroom, and signs of wear and tear, although it is generally tried to be kept clean.

Hotel - very good location, approx. 2 km from Karlsplatz. Also, the hotel is close to the metro station where U4 takes you to Vienna city centre. Room - was very clean and tidy, the air conditioning worked very well. Breakfast - was very fresh, tasty and had a good variety (variety of breads and pastries; variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, diverse meats and cheeses; variety of hot options, such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages). There were foods with gluten free options. Also, the breakfast room opens to a small garden, so it is possible to enjoy breakfast outside. Employees - the receptionists were very professional and helpful, and so it was easy to request an Invoice. Also, the waitresses were very pleasant and polite too. In general the hotel premises (breakfast area, bathrooms, corridors, elevators) were very clean and tidy. Overall - highly recommend this hotel.

Cleaning staff did a great job particularly the bathroom which was spotless. The front counter staff particularly a gentleman named FLORIAN was excellent. He was extremely helpful regarding our train arrangement from Vienna to Saltzberg and knowledgeable regarding the history & life of Austria. I have learned a lot from him about this beautiful country which is the purpose of our travel. The breakfast was really good including many hot & cold options. Coffee & all sorts of juices, you name it. All those ladies were so attentive & hard working, they kept tidying up the table, the food area (refilling) & the coffee machine frequently with smiles & greetings. Very welcoming, friendly and professional. Honestly the design & the facility of the accommodation were a bit dated but well maintained, kind of 3 stars. But the staff (the service) was 5 stars, a huge thumbs up. Within 10 minutes walk to the train station & bus stop to get to the inner City and many local restaurants nearby including pubs, Austrian & Italian foods. I would highly recommend ibis Wien City to everyone.

We selected the hotel for the breakfast, which was great, very rich and diverse, just like in other reviews. We highly recommend it. We spent a week and had a very pleasant stay. The location is great, very close to U4 metro (or 20 min walk to city center), the area is nice, there are restaurants, also Billa and Spar shops close by. The room was beautiful, with large windows, plenty of natural light. The bed was large and comfortable. The room had a desk with chairs, a bench, space for clothes, and a clean private bathroom. The general aspect was clean and friendly.

Almost perfect. We would have liked to have a small fridge in the room and maybe a small safe. (They usually are available in 3 star hotels).

The room was very good, spacious, clean, quiet, the bed was comfortable. There was a little seating area and a table with 2 chairs. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best i have have had so far with a huge variety to choose from. The employees (receptionists, breakfast people) were all very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal, a shopping street and restaurants are within walking distance. We had a really good time here we will be surely coming back soon

The bed was only 160 cm wide not 180 cm, but comfortable. I only have one small suggestion: there should be bins on the breakfast tables for the trash.

Everything was nice and comfortable. Clean rooms, tasty breakfast and safe district. Shops in 2-3 minutes. Central streets in about 15 minutes walk. Staff is friendly and really helpful. Parking is provided for normal extra fee. Cooling is a monster, you won't have heat problems here the summer :) Perfect spot for short stays, for individuals or groups either!

Got some personal "sleep comfort issues" with the big pillow, but will ask for a smaller one next time from the staff. Maybe the room lights could be a bit brighter, but everything is just cool inside.

We had a most enjoyable stay in Ibis Wien City. The hotel is well placed in a quiet neighbourhood, easy access to the metro line and therefore all the city sights. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, with excellent cheese board, homemade pastries and fresh fruit. We will cherish our memory of enjoying our breakfast on the green patio outside. Many thanks for making our stay in Vienna even more special.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. It’s not exactly in the city center, but it's within a 15-20 minute walking distance. On the way, there is a market area similar to the Grand Bazaar in Turkey, with cafes where you can sit and have a drink. Next to it, we came across a square market selling old items, and we absolutely loved it. The rooms have the classic Ibis hotel style— a bit small, and the beds are quite close to each other. The cleanliness was quite good, the staff was decent, and the breakfast was also pretty good in my opinion. In terms of price-performance, I think it’s a very reasonable hotel.

Ibis Wien City offers a pleasant and comfortable stay. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures, modern and well-maintained. The bed and pillow were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean and felt brand new. The location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and professional. Overall, it is a great value for the price, with just a few small improvements needed to make it even better.

However, the addition of a kettle for convenience and a smart TV with YouTube would enhance the overall experience, especially for longer stays.
