Great place located less than 1 minute from the Plaza Mayor and a short walk to Sol with lots of public transportation options (metro and bus). While there is no restaurant at the hotel there is a basement coffee station with free coffee, tea, water, juice, simple pastries, & fresh food that’s available 24/7. Also, there are multiple food options, including a cafe (Salt in Cake) right next door. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and held my baggage both before I checked in and after check out (before my late night flight).

While there is an elevator you need to climb a set of 7-8 stairs to access it as well as 2 flights down to the basement/coffee station. While not a dealbreaker for some it is not clearly stated and I would hesitate to book the hotel if this is a concern.

Great location. This area of Madrid is clean with tons of restaurants and bars. The property is clean as well, nice interior. No kettle in the room, but there is a machine for free hot water, coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate and such in the basement. Free fruits and simple croissant for breakfast every day. I think they have a full breakfast option, but I did not try it. Laundry fees are decent. I might be back.

There is no elevator for some rooms located between the floors. And the stuff did not even move to help me with my luggage. But later, I learned that such behavior is common in Spain :)

The room was spacious, simple and clean. They even provided us with a free upgrade which we were thankful. We also liked the fact they left a small bag of baked goodies int he morning even though we stayed only for one night. They have a coffee station with fruits, cookies, juices, coffee and tea (buried on one of the floors) but it was a nice they have this available for guests. It's well located and easy to get around from as taxis generally go there. We were also surprised the reception desk is 24hrs and they have a more generous checkin and checkout times than other hotels. The room has plenty of hooks to hang your belongings!

The hotel is a bit of a maze - lots of stairs up and down and you need to get up a short flight of stairs to get to a small lift (not great if you have bigger suitcases). The decor is also all over the place, it doesn't seem to be very consistent in the loby/ hallway areas and looked very different to our room decor. Our window/ balcony opens to the main road/ noisy street - luckily it got quiet at night so we could sleep.

The location is excellent and the staffs are very nice and helpful. The morning simple breakfast is also very nice.

The cleanness needs some improvements. We found two cockroaches in our room. The staff has quickly let us changed to another room. The second room has no cockroaches. The floor can be a little more cleaner.

Loved the nice touch of leaving a bag with one or two baked goods with water outside the door in the mornings-it’s a lovely gesture to guests. Staff are very welcoming. Great location also. I did find my room a little warm so not sure how effective the air conditioning was or whether the heating in the building was on a lot.

The location is unbeatable, steps away from the Mayor Square. The Royal palace and the museums are all within walking distance. I really love the room, cosy, clean and modernly decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. They don't provide breakfast, but we found a paper bag hanging on the door with bread every morning. There is also a coffee corner with free coffee, cookies and fruit. These equal to a simple breakfast in my judgement.

Location was ideal for reaching places on foot, and a few steps from a metro station. Having a 'coffee corner' with basic breakfast supplies (and a microwave for personal food in the evening) was great for flexible dining choices. Finding a small breakfast pack on our door, was also a nice surprise - having an in-room fridge was also very convenient.

Shower water pressure and temperature was at times 'off' but nothing that prevented a shower. Having an additional waste basket in the living area would have been ideal, but nothing that was difficult to manage.

Wow, incredibly impressed with this 'two star' hotel. Really quite exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly and really make you feel welcome. The bed was very comfortable, the room was sleek and modern, the check-in process was easy and the location is unbeatable, right between Sol and the main plaza of Madrid. The cherry on top was opening my door to find a bag with complimentary croissant, donut and water in the morning - completely free. They also offer free coffee, tea and hot chocolate all day. Will absolutely be back!

The location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance to everywhere you would need to go, we didn’t use the metro once. Room was small but had everything you would need, very clean, and comfortable bed. Staff were absolutely amazing giving recommendations and showing us where to go. They left us water and fresh pastries outside of our room both mornings, which was a lovely touch. Would really recommend this hotel for an affordable and easy stay in Madrid.

The location is perfect, as you are very close to main attractions downtown Madrid. 24 hours open coffee corner with some snack is a big plus. Friendly staff and good services. They pay attention to improve the tourist experience with nice things like delivering at your door small bag with cookies and water.

The bathroom was clean, but the floor of the room not so much. I kept my trolley on the floor and when I picked it up it was dusty. ... Maybe it was an exceptional mistake because in general the room looked pretty clean.
