Lovely stay. Fabulous location, very walkable to lots of the central city. We were upgraded to a one bed apartment and it was gorgeous, very spacious, very comfortable, had a separate kid bunk room and was very well equipped with everything we could need. Also had a small balcony with typical street views. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of different options. There is a kids club and easy access to babysitting but we didn't utilise this.

Our bathroom was a bit cramped and awkward to manoeuvre in but this was a very minor point... nothing else! Would highly recommend.

The absolute best hotel for small children and babies. They really had thought of everything that would make my our lives easier whilst away from home including bottle warmer, steriliser, baby bath, big rug in living area for floor time etc The staff were all incredibly kind as well and they leant us a buggy with sturdier wheels to tackle the many hills and cobblestones. We also made use of the baby creche and our little one was very happy and the staff and facilities there were perfect.

The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and also had thoughtful touches for kids such as a kids bath robe, step in the bathroom, and kids cutlery, bowls and plates. My daughter really loved the kids club and it was great to have the option of childcare. The hotel also has a WhatsApp number you can message to ask questions, check on your child in the Kids Club, etc.

Not much - I thought the breakfast options could have been better. The hot options were limited although you could also get eggs to order. You also have to book a time for breakfast, which isn't ideal with young kids.

the staff in the restaurant were amazing and helpful. the front desk staff weren’t as helpful when we asked for dinner spots nearby or recommendations. we were told to Google what type of food we wanted twice. not what I expected from such a property. In our apartment, the kitchen sink didn’t drain at all so when we went to wash dishes it was very messy. In one shower, the shower head wouldn’t stay up, so you had to hold it or bend low. the dinning room chairs were soiled. These are little things, yes. But we noticed them and hence the 8 out of 10.

Staff were great, Breakfast was average, Secure underground Car parking nearby. A short downhill walk to restaurants. A huge mall nearby. At the time we were walking about 20,000 steps per day so Lisbon was no exception. We did get a torrential rain day one of the 3 days we were there but still managed to get out and about.

It is more of a family hotel, a few kids there. A bit of a mission going to the room, Down some steps, into the lift, out through a laundry area, into another lift and arrive at the room. I guess the downside of it being built on a hill like many other places in Lisbon.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the location was superb! We could walk almost everywhere. Guilherme and Lourenco were two of our favorite concierges. Renu, Ashish, David, D, and Raj were also exceptional! Their professionalism and kindness is unsurpassed. Thanks to all of you for contributing to our incredible experience in Lisbon. We will stay here again and recommend that anyone looking for excellent accommodations choose the Martinhal Lisbon Chiado.

There was nothing my son and I disliked. The Martinhal Lisbon Chiado is exquisite. The Concierges are remarkable, and the vibe is amazing.

This was a very last-minute booking, and I can't speak highly enough of the young lady at the front desk. She was incredibly welcoming and helpful. After a long day of travel and being a first-time visitor to Lisbon, her understanding and kindness made a big difference. She took the time to help me regroup and even offered great suggestions on places to visit. I absolutely loved this place.

all was amazing, beautiful staff

The location is superb in Chiado close to every major attraction. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a kids' center and it was perfect as we left our two boys (7 and 3 years old) for a morning. The staff there is caring and kind. This is is a must hotel for any family with little ones. Breakfast is good with a nice selection. Make sure to go next door to "Landeau" and get the most amazing chocolate cake (You're welcome) :)

There was a smell of insecticide by our door on the outside. They must have sprayed right before we checked in.

Great value for a 5-star hotel centrally located, with very friendly staff, and big, clean apartment rooms! I was afraid that there is no staff on-site, but to the contrary, there are friendly staff 24/7, very helpful too. There is a restaurant too, so dining is no problem. The room is good size, and there are a lot of facilities for family with kids. The location is very good, and public transportation including metro and ferry are both nearby. Despite the central location, I didn't hear noise at night. I was also able to store my luggage after checking out for free. The breakfast is decent, although I had it in my room so I am guessing you can get even more variety at the restaurant.

There is just a little hiccup during check-in: the internet was down, so they couldn't make room keys, nor did WiFi work. The reason was that the city work damaged an internet cable so the whole area was down. Fortunately it was resolved a couple of hours later.
