-the hotel certainly needs several repairs (at first i was checked in a room where the heater was not working; after that i was checked in another room, where the windows were not well insulated, and there was very, very cold in the room at night); -the rooms are not quite the same, despite the same price (the first room i got had netflix, the second one did not have…) -bad location (the first metro station nearby, jardim zoologique, is at a 15 min walk); the hotel is very close to the airport, though -the aircrafts land very close to the hotel so there is much noise

I liked everything. The hotel is modern, the breakfast is exceptional, the staff are very attentive, the rooms are comfortable and quiet. They offer nice touches for guests and have a gym and parking on-site.

It’s away from the city center, which isn’t necessarily a problem for going to the beach or some parts of the city if you have your own vehicle. For the center, the best option is to take an Uber, which costs around €6–7 each way and will drop you off and pick you up at the hotel.

Overall, it was a very good experience, the hotel is nice, calm, clean. We appreciated the most the free parking, the cleanness. Nice welcome package in the room. The staff is very agreeable. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options. The coffee could be improved though.

The New Year's party, we've booked directly at the reception was the worse experience ever. For the money they charged, it was a very bad experience; the food was poor, the drinks were poor and, mostly, the music and entertainment were BAD.... And the price for such a "party" was extremely high.

What a lovely hotel in a nice part of Lisbon. The Reception Staff that checked us in were so helpful and welcoming. The room was very spacious and clean. Complimentary water, biscuits and sweets left in our room on arrival. Sofia is a credit to this hotel. She accommodated us above and beyond. She knew we were there to celebrate my son’s birthday and watch the Portugal match versus Denmark. She sent Pastéis de Nata to our room. Such a lovely gesture. We had lunch at the hotel which was a buffet. As the mains are left on a hot plate it doesn’t taste the same. Most of the food was very chewy. We checked out dinner one night and it was €36 per person which is a lot of money for the quality of food provided. Very good transport links nearby. Really nice authentic bakery near the hotel. Not hard to get around the city. Thank you for your hospitality. Hopefully we will visit again soon.

Everything was perfect. My room was big with a huge bed that I loved. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The room was spotless and had all the relevant facilities for my stay. Breakfast had a wide variety of food. Although it was the same variety every day, I loved it. As a vegetarian, there were many different types of vegetables, salads and succulent fresh fruits for my enjoyment. The staff were really helpful. Ines at the front desk was a sweetheart. She managed to get me a room for my 7th day. Without her help, I would have had to find another hotel just for one night. Her intervention meant that I spent all 7 days in the same hotel. Thank you, Ines! She gave me very good advice on where to visit. She spoke excellent English and always answered my questions thoroughly. Philomena, the housekeeping manageress, acted quickly to move me to a different room when I had a strange smell in my room. Sergio was kind in helping to transfer my belongings to my new room. Hugo, the guest service manager, left a box of the famous Portuguese CUSTARD TARTS in my room for free because I told him that I never saw any in the breakfast room. I had an enjoyable stay so I will stay in SANA METROPOLITAN again if I have to return to Losbon.

We liked the hospitality of the staff. They were looking to serve us better. There was outside noise in our room (located on the highway side of the hotel) and they suggested another room to us on the other side which was a better room. Breakfast was very good. The location was good in the middle of the city and not too far from the historical places. Free parking also was very helpful for us.

The coffee machine stopped working but they replaced it for us quickly. Windows could be more sound-isolated, especially on the high-way side.

The bedroom was quite "old style" (old furniture, but functional), and the bathroom would need some renovation (but still functional). Somewhat far from the main turistic region (but Uber is only 5 euros/trip), but very close to the airport (it can be too close for some, as the planes come very close to it and make some noise).

The room was clean, and the bathroom was clean, even though it was dated. The breakfast was included in my purchase and well worth the price. The lunch buffet was good at 34 Euros per person, not including beverages.

The gym was adequate with the dumbbells; however, only the treadmills and rowing machine worked adequately. Due to software malfunctions, none of the other machines, stationary bikes, or elliptical machines worked properly.

This hotel might not be the most modern I've been to, but the staff literally makes this place amazing. Great communication, customer care, decent breakfast, clean rooms. Overall, a very good choice.

Some of the facilities might need attention - soap/shampoo dispenser was not attached to the wall and was not able to hang there - just lying on the bathtub; one of the towel hangers was broken, so just a bit of repairs would really do the trick. Otherwise - really good.

Excellent selection of breakfast, super friendly staff, it feels like home to stay in this hotel and I book it for my family every time they come to visit Lisbon, it is our second home in Lisbon. The best hotel is where you emotionally think of it as your second home in a new city.
