Very clean, central and safe location.

Air conditioning is not good for a hotel of this level. I’ve seen lots of other comments so it’s not just a one-off. They should analyse their systems or tell guests in advance they’re trying to save money on energy. In the summer I don’t think I could manage.

Nice large bed (as expected), excellent breakfast selection and the location to the city centre was excellent too - a choice of Metro stations all within walking proximity, and we walked into the centre more than once in our 2 night stay which takes about 40 minutes depending on your pace and destination. Note: it is downhill to the city and uphill back to the hotel. The location of the hotel for driving was easily accessible from the major roads and therefore no necessity going into the very crowded - with traffic - city. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The private parking garage was very tight and narrow - nothing the hotel can do about it as that is how they were built, but for larger cars it can feel rather scary! However the private parking was very reasonably priced (€5 per night from memory). Not that we wanted it, but the hotel doesn't have a restaurant.

Staff were excellent. Would have hoped for sausages, bacon at breakfast so instead we used nearby restaurants which had better fare and were better value.

The coffee / Tea facilities were the only bad thing. Coffee and tea options were poor and there was no milk.

I like the facilities in the room especially the number of lights. The location was close to anything you may need transport is easy to use food everywhere and close to the airport.

The air con system the room was very stuffy it was hard to breathe throughout the night

The rooms are extremely beautiful and comfortable. The location is pleasant and not so overcrowded with tourists. Most of the staff is REALLY nice

Half of my devices were not able to connect on the hotel’s WIFI…. and nobody really cared (“it’s a problem with your devices”), even though I never had that before

The room was spacious and clean. They cleaned our room every day, which was good. The staff was quite friendly and willing to help. The breakfast did not had much variety for warn food but desserts were awesome. Specially very small portions of cakes that one can try. Good choice of drinks as well.

Our room was on the 6th floor, and it was very hot. We turned on the AC, but nothing helped. I had to finally call the reception at 2 AM as we were unable to sleep because it was so hot. We were then told to switch off the AC, but it did not help either. We had to ask for a fan so we could sleep. It was good that the staff was helpful, and they provided the fan quickly, and we were able to sleep. We had to keep the fan running for our entire stay, or else it was quite hot, even when the temperature outside was below 20.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very professional and friendly. For sure will be staying here on my next visit

I've booked 3 rooms and 2 of those rooms, the coffee table light and the upright lampsweren't turning on. The upright lamps behind the sofas were wobbly. The shower gel the pump wasn't working properly and the hair conditioner wasn't pumping at all. As i work in a hotel as a room attendant, those are some of the things that I have to always check and report/replace..

The hotel was in a great location, near both shopping and public transportation. The breakfast was nice and the room was comfortable.

If I have to pinpoint some faults... The room was overly warm and the AC took some time to cool it. Additionally they charged me 4€ for half a liter of water at the bar next to reception.

Excellent base for what we wanted. Great little bar in reception area with knowledgeable staff. Hotel was very well appointed and lovely and clean. Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment but if like other parts of the hotel I’m sure it would be decent.

Only thing I didn’t like was when we asked about a taxi to the airport the guy tried to convince us to book one without a meter. For €40 ! Literally a 10 /12 minute journey. No uber around as it was early morning so we took one with a meter saved €20. Nothing to do with spending money just felt uncomfortable with his approach. Maybe he just didn’t realise, I’m not sure. Either way it certainly didn’t ruin any part of our experience.

The location was wonderful and out of the chaos of the more touristy areas. It was a 5 minute walk to the Metro with numerous good food locations nearby. An added plus is the wonderful Banksy Museum located on the street directly behind the hotel. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and a joy to talk to, from the wonderful check-in gals, the multi-tasking young man who helps out with breakfast and other duties, to the cleaning staff. They could not have been nicer, and the hotel was nice and quiet. Our room for two nights was the perfect ending to a two-week visit to the country of Portugal and provided an easy and quick early morning Bolt ride to the airport with considerably less traffic.

The television service could use more channels and with so many foreign guests, an english speaking news station would be nice.
