Very friendly staff . Good location near the park and walking distance to the Gulbenkian museum and a Banksy museum both were delightful. Good restaurants around . Fifteen minutes of drive from the airport . Breakfast was very well thought out and included all the choices one can wish for.Beautiful building and courtyard. Nice front desk people.

No grab bars in bathroom ,with a high bathtub and slick floors seniors and petite travelers need extra caution . Lighting in room could be brighter and plugs for recharging phones and tablets were hidden under bedside tables . They did give me an extension cord right away . Little too far to walk to centre of town .

The property is well located if that sector is where you want to be. There are plenty of shops and restaurants at walking distance from the Hotel, and taxis can find it quickly too. The room was spacious enough, soundproof (top quality!) with a sitting area and amenities (although the blowdryer was not of good quality). Service is courteous and fast. Housekeeping does a very good job, too.

Breakfast was advertised as very good and, to my taste, the quality, quantity and variety was not as good as expected. The breakfast area is located in a basement so it does feel somewhat claustrophobic.

It was a perfect stay. The lovely staff were so kind and, as I was alone, looked after me throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, beautifully furnished and comfortable with all the facilities I needed, the dining room food and service was excellent and breakfast a veritable feast. The location was peaceful but within easy access of the metro. I was particularly taken with the historic patio and exotic vegetation where I always enjoyed an aperitif in the evening. I can only speak about everything in superlative terms and cannot wait to book a return visit.

The hotel is north of most of the touristy stuff which is our preference. It is still within walking distance of two train stops that can help you get around the city. Breakfast was included in our package and it was great for us and our toddler. There was a fruit spread, yogurt/oatmeal section and your more hearty items such as eggs (scramble, hard boiled), sausage, bacon, mushrooms and mini pancakes. The hotel interior was beautiful. The service was wonderful. Our room had a nice gift for our honeymoon. Overall wonderful stay.

The only downside I could think of is the jacuzzi and pool are closed due to renovations but there is a sister hotel you can use but it was a bit too far for us to consider.

While the overall stay was wonderful, the breakfast could be more diverse. Though the quality of food was good, the variety felt limited, especially for guests staying multiple days. Adding more international and kid-friendly options would make the dining experience even better.

The breakfast room is too small. Had to wait 30 mins to get breakfast. The second day we got up early to get breakfast. This would prevent us from re booking despite everything else being good. They have a big restaurant area with garden space on ground level that would be sufficient for breakfast instead of a tiny room in basement.

Location is very convenient, in a good neighbourhood and close to the park Eduardo VII. We tried the hotel restaurant one evening and the food and the service were excellent with a nice garden outside.

The wifi in my room was almost non existent and since I needed to do some work on my laptop, this was a big disappointment. The room we were given had very few windows and was dark, overlooking the backyard. The breakfast is situated in a basement with no windows. No eggs variety.

VERY GOOD HOTEL! It is strategically located in a beautiful area, with easy access to the center and other areas of the city. Within a five to ten-minute walk there are three different metro stations! Helpful staff, responded immediately to every question and wish we had. Very clean and comfortable room, with very good quality mattresses and toiletries. The breakfast is very rich and of high-quality, with an abundance of local products, cheeses, cold cuts and sweets.

Our stay at Real Palácio was excellent! I stayed there for a few days with my daughter and everything met our expectations. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty and varied. The reception staff were extremely kind and helpful – always ready to assist. The location is perfect – close to the city center but in a quiet area, with easy access to the airport by metro. A big plus for the luggage storage option after check-out. Highly recommended – we would definitely stay here again!
