Great hotel in central Frankfurt with a very comfortable and spacious room, very good bed, great shower and absolutely amazing breakfast. The staff, especially front desk was beyond friendly and professional and provided many useful tips about hotel and the city. If you are coming by car, there is a garage right across the hotel with an easy access. Hotel has great location, close to the shopping street and many restaurants and cafes. All in all - we had a very pleasant stay, this hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations and the breakfast is surely worth coming back to :)

Although Avani Frankfurt is rated as a 4-star hotel, I would personally place it among the very best in this category, with many aspects approaching 5-star quality. The hotel appears relatively new and is well maintained, offering spacious rooms, modern facilities (including a gym, sauna, and steam room), and very comfortable beds. There are also plenty of seating areas on both the ground and first floors. I especially appreciated the luxurious toiletries from Malin + Goetz — shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and hand wash — provided in full. Many hotels in this category tend to omit at least one of these items, so this was a real delight for me. The thoughtful details continued with a full-size hair dryer and even a shoehorn. The breakfast spread was outstanding, easily one of the best I have seen at a 4-star hotel. I was particularly impressed by the tea station, which offered an exceptional selection of loose-leaf teas, along with teapots, diffusers, and all the proper accompaniments.

While I understand the need to charge for early check-in, the rate felt steep (about 75% of my nightly rate for an 8:30 a.m. arrival), perhaps because I had secured an excellent deal on a smaller room. If the early check-in fee is a flat rate across all room types, a tiered approach might be fairer. That said, the friendly staff member, Denisz, who checked me in, kindly upgraded me to a standard room and included breakfast (which was not part of my original booking), which softened the impact of the early check-in fee. On one evening, both the locker key and steam room were not working. I did not report to get it fixed immediately as I simply used the sauna instead, but I informed the staff the next day.

Breakfast was delicious, every day, a lot of choices all assisted by very friendly staff, thank you. We had an early start on our last morning and only had time for a quick cup of coffee but the staff happily gave us bags to pack up a couple of rolls and a danish for our journey excellent. Location was great everything is walkable. Our room was of a good size and equipped with both a kettle and nespresso machine. Don't forget to pack your favourite tea bags. Bathroom had a selection of toiletries along with both dressing gowns and slippers. Had a chat with Marta who made suggestions to visit and places to eat. Excellent info we would have definitely missed the Chinese Gardens if she had not advised us. Thank you.

Not sure if there are any quite rooms but it was very noisy at night, with both traffic and pedestrians.

Newish hotel just a few minutes walk from main shopping area, and just a bit further to the little altstadt. Opted for drink voucher in lieu of housekeeping, great idea for short stays! Bed and pillows were super comfy and plenty in room amenities incl tea & coffee

Nowhere to put out our two suitcases. Used a chair for one and floor for the other, the official luggage space is in the wardrobe but is cabin bag sized. Note….the room is actually quite big by euro standards so there’s adequate space for a fold out luggage rack. The big floor mirror isn’t necessary

Having never been to Germany/Frankfurt before, we chose the Avani based on a very decent price for 2 rooms and 2 nights. 5-10 min walk into the main shopping area with the MyZeil Mall, Primark close by. The Frankfurt zoo was only 12 mins away on foot so very central for our planned visit. The rooms were VERY nice and the bathroom was extremely spacious and comfortable. Bath robes on hand was a nice touch. We had an issue with our card/key but the staff sorted out very quickly and easily. Off site, but very close parking nearby was useful too, especially after long periods of driving/travelling. A very clean, but not clinical place to stay. Would definitely choose this venue again should the opportunity allow.

Wasn't a major issue, but we didn't really feel the A/C worked much for us and the window was a bit too big to leave open to let some air in too - could have done with a smaller window just to allow some air in. That's about the only faults.

The location is close to all main attractions, including 25-minute walk to famous museums, etc. One lady staff, with an angel smile, greeted us at the lobby to answer all the questions we had. Breakfast is gorgeous, with plenty of choices. Sauna room is super-hot, 85°C if you can bear w it.

One male staff in the restaurant seems not to like serving people. When I asked him where the hot water was, he replied that I have been to the tea station to get hot water twice and still didn't know the place. I told him that he must have mistaken me with someone. The restaurant was very crowded one morning with guests looking for tables without assistance. The light in my room was not working properly, and it's not been fixed until we checked out (3Ns) even though we brought it up on the first day. After all, I think it's overrated as a 4-star hotel. Perhaps 3 at most.

the location of the hotel was great, very near to the shopping district. there were nearby mini mart which is great for purchasing some form of essentials, this is important for Sundays when majority of the shops are closed. the room we stayed was exceptionally roomy, which gave us ample space to unload our suitcase. breakfast was okay but again, when majority of the shops are closed on Sunday, a hotel breakfast will come in handy.

more variety for breakfast will be appreciated. for example english/american breakfast selections.

We booked a suite for our stay as a family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, and all essential toiletries were thoughtfully provided. The sauna available for hotel guests was a highlight for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The bed is very comfortable too. A delightful touch was the seasonal welcome corner in the lobby, offering festive drinks, gummies, and Christmas cookies—it added a warm and festive vibe to our stay. Check-in and check-out were seamless and efficient. The hotel staff were polite, attentive, and patiently addressed all our questions. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we’d highly recommend this hotel!

Really great value for money! Fantastic location to explore Frankfurt and also to go on a run to the river in the morning. Especially appreciated the sauna as well! Room was very quiet (out to the backyard), clean and comfortable. Staff was super friendly and accomodation as well, was sending someone to switch off the little refrigerator when I realised it was making a noise.

Really nothing to complain about, especially for the price. Only the first night we stayed the room had hot air coming through the air con which we weren’t able to switch off, but when we came back again to stay problem was solved. And we were able to open the windows anyway so it wasn’t too bad.

Location is right in the center, you find everything around you within walking distance, bed was comfy.

Parking is very expensive, the hotel itself has no parking so you will be directed to a cross street public garage which is charging 32 Euro per day! That is normal for a public garage in center if you would park for only few hours, but hotel should provide special rate for guests staying over for days! Our room was overlooking side building yard which is used like storage area, so it is not the best view.
