Beautiful hotel in the city centre. €18 in taxi from the airport in less than 20 mins. We were lucky to have a sea view. Everything is on the doorstep. Breakfast was 10/10. Lovely friendly staff. Would highly recommend!!! 👏👏👏

I loved the hotel, it was very clean (which with Greece is my usual worry), the location was awesome (1 minute walk to the street of 25th August), 3 minute walk to the seaside. The value was great. There is a Nespresso machine in the room with 2 complimentary capsules and tea. I preferred to make coffee in the room vs. the breakfast coffee. You also get 2 half liter bottles of water each day and i was nicely surprised to find a soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body milk there too. Nice quality. I also liked the selection of master light switches so you could have different regimes (relax, night, etc). My view was also super weird, I looked into another apartment, their rusty air condition unit where pigeons were nesting. But it’s not like I hung around the room too much. There is a public parking garage next to the hotel so if you plan to rent a car, there should be no problem. There is also a supermarket and many eating places. 1 min walk to the street of 25th August 10 min walk to the archeological museum 15 min walk to the urban bus station (to visit Knossos) 5 min walk to the venetian fortress 7 min walk to the national museum of history 17 min walk to the port with ferries 5 min walk to the central market

The breakfast selection could have been a bit wider and the coffee could have or should have been better. The room coffee was nice. I would have welcome a bit more proactivity from the staff to maybe recommend restaurants or things to do

The location is central and the hotel is a brand new (or after renovation). The staff is very friendly. Car parking just at the opposite side of the street and has special arrangement for the hotel guests - 12 Euros per day (instead of the regular 15) with no limitation of times getting in and out. Our room was very spacy and we also liked the breakfast.

The bathroom is full of dislikes. It has no literally a door. Instead of the door there is a sliding grill, which has no any intention of isolating this area visually and also audially - you can see and hear everything what is going on inside, so no privacy for the user. There is an additional door for the shower and the toilet, also sliding, serving both areas, but also no chance to get your privacy due to the lack of sound isolation - all your actions are very well heart from the room. It's a disaster for those who are travelling as a couple. There is also a water leak from the shower area to the toilet floor. And the TV refused showing most of the channels steadily - the signal is very poor and most of the broadcastings are just not available.

Loved our stay here at DOM Boutique Hotel (Junior Suite). Step out of the apartments and you are in the heart of Heraklion with a short walk to shops, cafes, and bus stops. The room itself was divine, with a large wrap around balcony with a view of Herklion, the Venetian Walls and restaurants. Bathroom was well stocked with bath towels, beach towels, robes and toiletries. It was very clean and loved the complimentary fruit plate and wine that came with our Junior Suite. Daily buffet breakfast was exceptional, the waitress was so welcoming and helpful everyday. The staff were very accommodating in allowing us to extend our stay and relocating our luggage between each room as we explored Heraklion throughout the day.

There was nothing to dislike about our stay.

The breakfast buffet was excellent! The location is wonderful, right in the heart of the historic old city. We were close to everything. The entire hotel is very modern, clean, and comfortable. I really appreciate all the clothes hangers in my room! The bathroom is very spacious, with 2 sinks. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I booked late and had a lower floor facing the city, which is not the hotels fault. The bathroom doors are a little odd - the toilet does not have much privacy! And the the shower door leaks water into the toilet area. That said, the bathroom is very modern, clean, and spacious.

The hotel has great breakfast. Clear explanation of check out times/breakfast time/wifi/what’s free and what’s not in room. Has kettle and coffee maker, and complementary water bottles. Lots of space to put luggage. Lovely balcony. Location: Very central but one lane in so not noisy outside. Supermarket right in front of the hotel. I loved the background staff, the cleaners the cooks adding food to the breakfast buffet was always smiling and had something nice to say.

Bring early plugs if you are sensitive to noise. Could hear the water noise in other rooms, like any other European building. Big closet area but no space to hang long dresses.

The room we had was very spacious and modern and clean. Everything worked well and the breakfast was very good and we appreciated when they served us an early breakfast as we had to leave early. The location was great with shops and restaurants nearby. Sadly my wife left her earrings on the bedside table but the housekeeping staff found them and we are currently in negotiations with the hotel to get them sent to us - fingers crossed we can be re-united with them soon.

I have been comjng here since it opened and we feel like family when we arrive. I did notice this year The water pressure was off One day we didn't have hot water One day the elevator broke I believe it's time for the owners to reinvest abit in the property with preemptive measures so during peak season there is no glitches. Still would recommend this to everyone and is my go to hotel in Iraklio.

The small hotel was centrally located in the old town of Heraklion within easy walking distance of the Venetian port, dozens of restaurants, shopping and museums. All of the staff we encountered, including front desk, breakfast room, room service, and cleaners, were friendly and efficient, going out of their way to be helpful when we had questions. The hotel was very clean and nicely furnished with modern decor. There was a wide selection of hot and cold food items in the breakfast room (with excellent Greek pastries), and we were given complimentary pastries and drinks on arrival. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and large outdoor terrace with views over the city. We felt at home immediately and couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy our visit to Heraklion.

We had no major complaints but might mention a couple of minor points. Our room was beautifully decorated, but somewhat at the expense of function. For example, It would have been helpful to have night tables beside the bed on which to put water, phone, tissues, etc., rather than having to put things on the floor. The only elevator to our floor was extremely small but we managed luggage in two trips.

Excellent hotel. Exceeded our expectations. All around positive experience. The rooms were new and nicely designed. The location was great, right in the middle of everything. Can walk everywhere in the old city in ~10 min. Breakfast was amazing! Really enjoyed it, Decent spread and tasty. The hotel had a car parking arrangement with the car park across the street which made the parking hassle free. €12 per day with multiple entries. Supermarket around the corner as well.
