Good location within short walking distance to port and center. Rooms are comfortable with good airco, wifi, kettle, fridge and toiletories. They gave an upgrade with 2nd time stay and prepared a good content take away breakfast due to early check out. Thanks to Hera for the nice service. 24/7 reception is useful for any flight time. Breakfast is also rich with continuous service there to refresh items. I noticed a roomy lounge area.

Lower level rooms at the back do not have a pleasant view but old street view. It would be more motıvating to have breakfast at 4th floor with castle view.

The host was accommodating and recommended some of the best restaurants in Crete. The view of the castle was spectacular and the room was very comfortable, not huge but big enough. It was very easy to walk around and explore the area. It is easy to escape the tourist area because it’s not very big, making it a very authentic visit of culture and food.

Our car GPS got very confused in the old town and it was a little hard to navigate the one way narrow streets, which has nothing to do with the accommodation. Recommend ditching the car and exploring on foot which is super easy.

The breakfast was excellent. A great range of food was available. The location was spot on for easy access to a lot of places to see. We walked from getting off the ferry, it took us about 15 minutes. Pretty flat except for 1 decent flight of stairs which we managed with our large suitcases.

We booked 6 months in advance and booked a twin room, only to get there and be given a double. We paid for a room overlooking the Venetian Port. Fortunately Thanos on the front desk managed to find us a twin room, this however did not overlook the Venetian Port. There was no offer of a meal voucher or a few drinks to try and make up for the $$ we had paid for a higher priced room. Check before you get there they have the correct room put aside for you.

The location was good.

The fact that I asked for a sea view and got a room on the 1st floor that overlooked the roof tops and back alley and had 3 air conditioning units on the balcony. Sea view would have been better on a higher floor. But it looked like every room I booked with booking was on the lower floor . Not impressed with that as in most cases it had bad views. Also our TV did not work we were told it would be fixed and that did not happen.

First of all, the location is very good-within easy walking distance to the bus station, the port, and the pedestrian areas of the town center. Next, I liked the lobby and lounge areas, which were spacious and pleasant; the room, while a bit antiseptic-looking, turned out to be extremely comfortable and well designed. The excellent mattress, together with the peace and quiet, contributed to a good night's sleep. From my balcony I had a partial view of the sea, which I wasn't expecting. I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious bathroom and by its roomy shower stall, which was equipped with very nice soap and shampoo. The breakfast was delicious, too, with a wide variety of delicious items to choose from, so that you could have a full English breakfast, a Greek breakfast, or a combination of both. Finally, the staff at reception and the cleaning personnel were exceptionally kind and helpful.

If you are looking for charming or romantic accommodations, this is not the place for you. However, for the money, the location, and the comfort, this is an excellent choice.

Extremely well located hotel with a rooftop restaurant offering a varied menu, a magnificent view of the old port and succulent dishes. Rooms with a sea view actually have a view so beautiful that photos can't do it justice. Staff very welcoming, attentive, nice and responsive at all times. Highly recommendable, the hotel is well equipped and lacks nothing, and the staff are just like all the Cretans we met: as friendly as possible.

Breakfast was excellent. The room was kept very clean. The location was excellent for restaurants, shops etc. the view of the old harbour was beautiful. The staff were exceptionally helpful in helping with bus timetables etc. to keeping our luggage until it was time to fly home and allowing us to sit in the hotel lounge area.

The room was smaller than expected for a superior sea view. The bathroom could have benefited from an update. The water from the bath drain after a shower came up into the main bathroom floor so had to always mop up following our showers and there was a lot of noise from the taps and running water whenever they were used. The balcony, although the view was beautiful, was very small and never got the benefit of sunshine at any time in the day although the weather was gorgeous and consequently we never wanted to sit out there.
