Our room was well appointed and quiet. The view of the river was great. The location was superb. Breakfast was awesome, the chef cooking the eggs was exceptional and very friendly. The valet staff were fantastic.

One of the main reasons I booked the hyatt was due to the fact it had a pool but I was incredibly disappointed as we were unable to use it as it was shut for a private function. I feel you should communicate this to gusts before they stay as it was actually the number one reason we stayed here. We decided to eat dinner in the restaurant one night for convenience but after sitting for 20 minutes without service we decided to leave and eat elsewhere, I don't think the staff even noticed we had left.

- Very clean and modern hotel. - Staff friendly and helpful. - Buffet breakfast has a great selection and was all very tasty and fresh. Can request freshly made eggs and pancakes made to order. Price of breakfast is $33/person if booked when checking into the hotel vs $42 if you don’t book breakfast ahead. - 11am check out time is good. - Great view of the city from our room. - Location handy for city attractions.

- Access to the hotel if coming by car is through a mall and then via a back lane. This did not make for a good first impression and felt unsafe on a Saturday night with various people wandering around. Staff desk in this area was not attended at that time. - Lovely bathroom but lighting was too dim to do make-up. - Pillows too soft and unsupportive.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend! We had an incredible experience at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The rooms were spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and provided the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the city. The amenities were excellent. The buffet breakfast each morning was a highlight — fresh, delicious, and with plenty of options to suit every taste. Location-wise, this hotel couldn’t be better. It's perfectly situated for tourists looking to see the city's top sights by day and dive into the vibrant nightlife in the evening. Everything we wanted to see and do was within easy reach. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will absolutely be recommending it to friends and family. A truly memorable stay!

At the breakfast buffet, We did have to wait a good 30 minutes for our coffee order which never got made. However the staff were very lovely apologies and made it for us quick

Very clean, amazing shower pressure, and bathroom was lovely. Bed is very comfortable. Great location! The young gentleman (didn't get his name) at reception was very friendly and super helpful. He is certainly an asset to your company. Unfortunately the other staff were not helpful. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Everything was on point and delicious and plenty of options thankyou

Besides the one young man at reception who was lovely, I found the other staff a bit vague, booked breakfast at reception with a female staff member, and turned up, and we had no table reserved as requested. Valet staff were not at the desk when we arrived, so we had some confusion and stress there, not knowing what to do. Cafe staff was very average service, but coffee was nice There is no top sheet on beds. We are old school and prefer to have this as an option.

Convenient location with an exceptional breakfast. I was located on floor 26 with city skyline views. The lifts were fast and frequent and the view spectacular

The tv was hard to use and the reception poor. The tv would keep turning itself off in the middle of a program for no apparent reason and the picture would frequently pixilate and break up and fracture through the show. Not enjoyable viewing at all. For the price at least decent tv Also the bathroom lights were weird - they would just turn themselves off for no reason. The fix it man came up agreed it was weird…!!

Location. Breakfast was included and had a good variety and choice.

We arrived at 1.15 pm and was informed check in was 3pm. We returned to wait at 2pm and were told the room was nearly finished being cleaned. Checked several times in the next hour and told the same story. When it got to 3.15 sitting by reception I checked again and we could get the key. Maybe more work was being done in the room as the ceiling had had a repair and looked wet and not painted. For two days of the three we stayed when at breakfast after leaving the table to get food we returned to find the table cleaned of our drinks and food and new people sitting down ready to enjoy their breakfast so the system needs some attention.

The stay overall was wonderful. Great location, comfy bed and very clean. We also ate at the Lennon's Restaurant onsite and the food and service were fantastic. A slight downside, when we arrived to check in, the hotel didn't have record of our reservation. Luckily, I had the booking.com confirmation showing the dates and that we had already paid. An extremely helpful and friendly staff member, Terence, investigated for us and it turned out there was a communication breakdown between booking.com and the hotel which is why they didn't have record of our booking. Terence was very professional and was able to rebook us at no extra cost (luckily, they had vacancy). Thank you, Terence, for looking after us and getting things sorted. I'll now be confirming my bookings directly with hotels, even if booking.com send through the confirmation.

We had a fantastic stay! The entire experience was exceptional – from the convenient central location to the friendly and attentive staff. The swimming pool was amazing, and we only wish we had more time to enjoy it fully. The breakfast was delicious, and I was especially impressed with the variety of gluten-free options available. We stayed in the suite with two adjoining rooms, which was a lovely setup for three. That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay, and I would definitely stay here again!”

The bathroom for the two rooms (shared by 3) being located through the master bedroom wasn’t ideal and the bar shutting at 9pm seemed a little early but other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location right in the centre of town. Big bedroom ; comfy bed. I liked to open plan bathroom and the fact there were no single use plastics. Pool was lovely Food (especially at Hibiscus) was great

Some of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Others very vague and unknowlegable. Perhaps they had added extra staff for the “magic “ weekend. The cost of the hotel was outrageous (apparently due to the magic NRL) but as my course was being held here, I didn’t have much choice.

Perfect location on Queen Street Mall where you have access to everything (shops, casino, clubs, pubs, eateries, cafes and more). The pool area was great to just relax and watch the world go by The room was small however very comfortable which a nice, clean and spacious bathroom. We also liked that there was a small fridge that we could add our own food/drinks too. The bed was super comfy!

The breakfast selection was good but some of the food was interesting (E.g. the scrambled eggs had a strange texture) but otherwise quite enjoyable. I couldn't work out how to get a coffee will skim milk either and they only had full fat. All minor gripes
