This is a carefully restored traditional Italian palazzo. Beautiful views from a charming and spacious room, delightful staff and excellent buffet breakfast

Not really a dislike but something to be aware of! It is quite a long walk to and from the city and although there is a convenient bus service the last one back to the hotel is at 8.30 pm so if you are dining in the city you may need a taxi

Lovely boutique hotel, full of atmosphere, with spectacular views from its large terrace, overlooking the old town of Sienna and surrounding countryside. Sunsets accompanied by (very affordable) glasses of local white wine were gorgeous. The two managers (owners?), Giacomo and Lorenzo, are both extremely kind and helpful hosts, happy to offer good advice on restaurants, scenic routes in the area, transportation into town and more. A truly special stay!

Negotiating the entrance from the road into the narrow driveway (and free private parking) is tricky, especially for large cars. In general, the (beautiful) building is old, which means stairs rather than lift, some noise from the corridors etc. My friends stayed in a double room, which was spacious and comfortable, while I settled for a single room, which was very small (as I'd known in advance - no complaints there) and a bit sparse (very compact shower etc.). In short, the forte of this place is its magical ambience rather than modern luxuries.

We stayed at Palazzo di Valli in Siena from May 13th to 17th during our honeymoon, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The hotel is a true Tuscan gem, with breathtaking views of the countryside — a perfect, postcard-worthy setting. The breakfast on the terrace was delightful, with fresh pastries, fruits, and the best cappuccinos lovingly prepared by the lovely Suzana. The service was impeccable. Lorenzo and Giacomo welcomed us warmly and were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, offering great recommendations and always greeting us with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made our visit even more special. Our room was very comfortable, with a cozy bed, excellent shower, and thoughtful touches like daily replenished water, teas, and biscuits, which showed real care for the guests. It was truly one of the most charming places we’ve ever stayed, and it made our honeymoon unforgettable. We would recommend it wholeheartedly and already dream of returning someday!

Everything was exceptional. On arrival, we were greeted, shown where to park, provided assistance with luggage, room amenities and practical info on how to navigate Sienna. Recommendations all proved excellent, especially restaurants and day trips out of Sienna. Breakfast was ample and varied. The grounds are beautiful with a terrace to look out over the fields and to the skyline of medieval Sienna - perfect for an end of the day drink, soft beverages and good wine available. Room was comfortable. Overall, the old farmhouse has been converted into a very pleasant locanda. Bus stops just outside providing easy 10-minute transport into town where a car is very difficult to take and expensive to park.

Beautifully restored villa with amazing views, comfortable and clean rooms, and delicious breakfast served fresh every morning. The breakfast offerings included fresh fruit, bacon and eggs, yogurt, cereal, breads, cakes and more. It was served in their charming breakfast room or outside when weather permits. Our room was on the first floor and was tastefully decorated, had gorgeous views and was spotlessly clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable as well. The property is situated just outside the entrance to Siena and is an easy walk or you can take the local bus that picks you up a few steps from the villa. Our hosts Giacomo and Lorenzo were so welcoming and helpful and made you feel like you were part of their family. We can’t wait to return to this magical place.

This place is a true paradise! It’s just outside 10 min walk from main Siena attractions, and gives a a true Tuscany feeling! It’s a hotel/bed and breakfast but has a feeling of agriculturo stay! Lorenzo and Giacomo were so genuine and caring and made sure our stay was dreamy. One of the mornings we had to rush out to our winery reservation and they were genuinely worried that we didn’t eat enough - so sweet! Breakfast was organic, versatile and delicious!! The lady that served us every morning was so kind and warm - made us feel at home. The room is comfortable and has everything you need and was cleaned every day. The property balcony was magical, with a stunning view of Tuscany country side and surronding Sienna. Wifi was excellent!! We would absolutely come here again of you cant tell already, we fell in love with this property:)

Everything was amazing!!

I wanted a memorable stay in a Tuscan villa and Hotel Palazzo di Valli provided everything I desired! The views from the hotel were incredibly beautiful, the room was spacious and elegant, and the breakfast was outstanding! We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio looking out over the spectacular view. We enjoyed the short walk to the enchanting and historic Siena and couldn’t ask for a better stay! We hope to return someday for a future visit.

We enjoyed everything about the property!

We loved the traditional Tuscan palazzo, its painted ceilings and overall setting. It was very convenient to get to the centre of Siena on foot or by bus. There was a lovely terrace and garden to sit outside in the evening with a glass of wine and relax. Most of all, we truly appreciated the warm welcome and attentiveness of Giacomo and Lorenzo, who went out of their way to advise us on the best places to go and how to enjoy their city. All the staff were delightful without exception.

Giacomo will laugh when he reads this: the narrow driveway! However, it’s wider than you first think and we quickly got used to it!

Beautiful old villa situated around a 10-15 minute walk from the main town. Bus available just adjacent to the property. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated with wonderful views across the outskirts of Siena. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely terrace and garden area around the villa with a view to sit and enjoy a drink at the end of the day. Parking available. Hosts were very friendly and helpful especially Alessandra and the kitchen staff who provided a great breakfast each day.

Bathroom was a good size but the shower was very small

This is a beautiful period building giving a real feel of Italian culture. Our room was large, comfortable and clean, with a great view. Breakfast selection was good, with the opportunity to sit outside on the patio. Giaciamo and Lorenzo were excellent hosts, helping with restaurant reservations and taxi booking. A wonderful hotel from which to explore Siena.
