Amazing location and very quiet area.

The reception staff that handled check-In process were unfriendly, as I was trying to check-in before 3pm as I was very tried from the travel and I said I do respect the hotel policy but I need to rest and sleep, unfortunately they claimed that the hotel is full therefore they can’t do it. After 2 hours of waiting I decided to ask again if I can pay more to check in and suddenly they have available rooms!. It’s unfortunate experience especially I you were a usual guest in the hotel. I hope they consider the guests situations as they came to rest and enjoy their times.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can honestly say it was an experience to remember. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with the warmest smiles from the reception team, setting the tone for my entire stay. They were incredibly welcoming, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure that my check-in process was seamless. They truly made me feel like a valued guest, taking the time to offer personalized recommendations for nearby attractions and dining. The housekeeping staff were equally impressive, maintaining my room in immaculate condition throughout my stay. It was evident that they take great pride in their work, as the room was always spotless, fresh, and well-stocked with everything I needed. Every time I passed by a housekeeper in the hall, they greeted me with a friendly smile, which made a big difference in creating such a positive atmosphere. The overall vibe of the hotel was one of warmth, care, and attention to detail, with every staff member I encountered offering a friendly greeting and a genuine smile. It was clear that the hotel places a strong emphasis on customer service, and I felt truly pampered and taken care of during my entire visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful, comfortable, and positive experience. The excellent service from reception, housekeeping, and the friendly faces everywhere made it a truly memorable stay! Nothing at all

What a beautiful upscale property. Comfortable rooms, lovely bed linens, nice bathrooms. I was overwhelmed at the gorgeous interior of this hotel. I picked this hotel for the location and it exceeded expectations on all fronts. Easy walk with luggage from Paddington Station. Breakfast in the restaurant was included in our stay, and the restaurant staff was so attentive and top notch. From check in to check out, this hotel is one of the best I've ever encountered. Attention to detail and customer service from all staff was very appreciated. We will return to London and to the Royal Lancaster. Highly recommend!

1. Was checked in early without any additional charge. 2. They had access to details of my previous stay, so the checkin process was very smooth and fast. 3. Rooms are very well equipped and most comfortable. My room had a breathtaking view of hyde park and the london eye. 4. There are multiple lifts so one doesn't have to wait long.

At the time of checkout, I was asked for a 'discretionary' charge of 5% on the room rate - as a tip to the staff members. Found this a strange conversation for a hotel of this category - am not used to be being asked outright in this manner in other high-end hotels in different parts of the world. Anyway, I had already been tipping the staff members who provided a direct service to me, but was awkward to refuse at checkout. So I paid it, but the experience did not leave a good taste.

My daughter and I enjoyed a 6 night stay at the Royal Lancaster. It's a great hotel. We received wonderful service as soon as we entered its doors. Check-in was easy and seamless. Breakfast was very nice. We enjoyed it daily. They present a beautiful large food assortment. The dining room is pleasant and the staff exceptional. We booked a Classic Room with 2 twin beds. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was immaculate, the beds ultra comfortable and the tolietries were very nice. The Thai restaurant at the hotel is exceptional. I would advise booking a reservation early during your stay. I love the location of this hotel. Its right across the street from Hyde Park. For those who are adventurous and don't mind navigating public transportation; you will find the buses and Tube station within walking distance a few feet from the hotel. The staff and the service at the Royal Lancaster London are outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to visiting again.

I have no complaints.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and polite and took time to have a little chat. The hotel accommodated my request for an interconnecting room via email no problem. The view from the 13th floor was amazing. The room was very comfortable and clean. Location great right near the tube station for central London.

The housekeeper/ supervisor knocked on the door in the afternoon to ask if the room was satisfactory to us after it had been cleaned. Not really necessary in my view ( even though we should have put the do not disturb sign outside). It was more than good enough as they even folded our clothes!

A fantastic hotel in a great location in London. Close to the metro, very close to the park, where you can relax after hard work. Great, friendly staff - at all levels - from the nice gentleman at the door, the room ladies, the reception, restaurant staff - amazing. Huge culture. Great breakfasts, beautiful restaurant, perfect experience. In my rating 6/6. Very comfortable room with a fridge and tea and coffee station. Very clean, even sterile. Great working air conditioning - it will cool and heat - as you wish. Excellent. This hotel - and I have been to hundreds of others - is my number one in London. Now I know that my next stay there convinced me that I will never stay in another one. Excellent hotel. Thank you for allowing me to stay there.

Let's not improve what is perfect.

Loved the view. Beds were very comfortable. Room service food was great but a bit pricey sometimes. Showers and bathrooms were phenomenal. Well built rooms and furnishings. Plenty of closet space for longer stays. Great attention to small details like night lighting, blackout shades, etc. Very comfortable.

TV was awful. Burned out with QR code. They took daily service charge and for every action they did. On top of room service charges. Seemed a little nickle & dimey given the premium rates being charged for rooms and that I tipped on top of that. Maybe tell people they don't need to tip if you are already charging daily rates for tipping the staff? I like to do it the good ole fashioned way. Hotel did have some undesirable guests who were quite noisy and needed to be called on by security. Didn't expect that for such a top end hotel. No bidet hoses, sadly.

ALL staff were fantastic, helpful, professional, always a smile and a respectful greeting, day or night. The deluxe view room was impeccable, perfectly presented, with fantastic views over London city and Hyde Park. Very close to walk to Paddington station in 5 minutes. Great location for cafes and pubs. We had our 30th anniversary during our stay and felt completely spoiled by the amazing two swans shaped by two fluffy towels into a heart shape on our bed to greet us, along with a very nice card signed by guest relations, and a couple of sweet treats to nibble! Put big smiles on our faces!

Though bed was extremely comfortable itself, the duvet was a let down in its cover of sateen Egyptian cotton. Too cloying and hot and not “ breathable”. Housekeeping staff I asked after our stay said next time we could ask for a blanket which would have been preferable. Bathroom mirror not adequately lit with only one light to side.
