I had a peaceful and enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive, making me feel very welcome. The room was outstanding—spacious, spotless, and offered a beautiful view of Hyde Park. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a 1-minute walk from Lancaster Gate Station. I will definitely book this hotel again on my next visit!

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Any request was quick and easeful. Was upgraded to a slightly better room and room was immaculate, with all facilities needed, including a good gym. Ate at the Thai Restaurant in the hotel - food and service were fantastic. Location was excellent. Enjoyed easy access to Hyde Park, underground and Paddington Station.

Amazing location and very quiet area.

The reception staff that handled check-In process were unfriendly, as I was trying to check-in before 3pm as I was very tried from the travel and I said I do respect the hotel policy but I need to rest and sleep, unfortunately they claimed that the hotel is full therefore they can’t do it. After 2 hours of waiting I decided to ask again if I can pay more to check in and suddenly they have available rooms!. It’s unfortunate experience especially I you were a usual guest in the hotel. I hope they consider the guests situations as they came to rest and enjoy their times.

The hotel is beautiful, well-organized, and elegant, and you truly feel like the center of everyone’s attention. Check-in took less than five minutes and check-out was done in just two — amazing! The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, from reception to housekeeping. The breakfast service was excellent, with Somaya and Mariam standing out for their kindness and attentiveness. The location next to Hyde Park was perfect, and the room was comfortable, clean, and had a beautiful view.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything met or exceeded my expectations.

The customer service was phenomenal! We stayed once before and it was so nice and family friendly we returned for a long holiday. My 2 1/2 year old son is not invisible, the staff welcome him, he has an incredible breakfast, loves playing with his hot wheels in the room while looking at the cars drive by. The staff throughout the hotel are just so friendly! Especially dog friendly because our fur son was also with us and he is greeted by animal loving staff. All the room service for my child was free, for example ordering warm milk evenings and mornings. There was a night we needed some diapers and luckily the hotel had some, it was not something they regularly have they said but that night they had some, lucky us because it saved us a trip from having to walk to the store when we were pretty beat from exploring around. Hyde park is across the street with plenty to do, playground to the left, fountains to the right, Diana’s memorial water fountain, cafes and ice cream everywhere.

This hotel has a best of British polish and charm. The room was comfortable. The breakfasts were superb. The dining room was beautiful with a great range and helpful service. A kind Ukranian lady looked after me as if I were a "special project". It was touching. In the "didn't like" section, I mention the disappointment in the room allocation. I took this up at reception - politely. After I had been rather officiously dealt with by the first lady, I had two subsequent contacts from within the hotel management to address my concerns. These merit "Like" reporting. The second of these included me being taken by a duty manager to a room with a genuine and lovely view of the city and some parkland. As it was not a corner room and as I had already unpacked, I did not take this up, but I clearly could have and was grateful for the choice. I really did feel that the management had gone to great lengths to sort things out.

My room allocation was disappointing. I had booked a corner room. On the website, a parkland view was depicted and that was the picture printed on my booking. The view was described as a city view. The room actually had a local view of mostly rooftops and building facades. I have no idea whether this erroneous depiction was down to the hotel or the booking.com site. Please see the positive notes about how the staff dealt with this.

Excellent location in central London and just across from Hyde Park and adjacent to Lancaster Gate station. Very friendly, polite and professional staff. Clean and comfortable rooms of a reasonable size for the UK and comfortable beds. Well appointed bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Lancaster!! We didn't get a chance to eat there or use the gymnasium, but by all accounts some of the restaurants such as the Thai one, are highly rated.

This is just a personal observation: The room was equipped with a work desk and a built in seat, if these weren't there, it would've felt more spacious. Also, there was one step up in the bathroom to access the shower area. This was not problematic especially since the bathroom flooring was anti skid and had a good grip, but just mentioning it as it might be an issue for someone else. As mentioned, it was a great stay and I would recommend the hotel to others.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can honestly say it was an experience to remember. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with the warmest smiles from the reception team, setting the tone for my entire stay. They were incredibly welcoming, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure that my check-in process was seamless. They truly made me feel like a valued guest, taking the time to offer personalized recommendations for nearby attractions and dining. The housekeeping staff were equally impressive, maintaining my room in immaculate condition throughout my stay. It was evident that they take great pride in their work, as the room was always spotless, fresh, and well-stocked with everything I needed. Every time I passed by a housekeeper in the hall, they greeted me with a friendly smile, which made a big difference in creating such a positive atmosphere. The overall vibe of the hotel was one of warmth, care, and attention to detail, with every staff member I encountered offering a friendly greeting and a genuine smile. It was clear that the hotel places a strong emphasis on customer service, and I felt truly pampered and taken care of during my entire visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful, comfortable, and positive experience. The excellent service from reception, housekeeping, and the friendly faces everywhere made it a truly memorable stay! Special thanks to: Mr. Lot in the reception (I hope I spell that correctly ) And big thank you to Merve Kirman for the beautiful surprise we got <3

What a beautiful upscale property. Comfortable rooms, lovely bed linens, nice bathrooms. I was overwhelmed at the gorgeous interior of this hotel. I picked this hotel for the location and it exceeded expectations on all fronts. Easy walk with luggage from Paddington Station. Breakfast in the restaurant was included in our stay, and the restaurant staff was so attentive and top notch. From check in to check out, this hotel is one of the best I've ever encountered. Attention to detail and customer service from all staff was very appreciated. We will return to London and to the Royal Lancaster. Highly recommend!
