We absolutely loved our stay at Residenza Fiorentina. The free sparking water fountain and complimentary breakfast along with the helpful staff and clean rooms made this property our favorite in our entire Italy trip. When our accommodation fell through in another city, we booked two more nights at this hotel at the last minute, and the staff was more than accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about Residenza Fiorentina.

Not a reflection on the establishment, but we had some difficulty finding it. Google maps sent us to restaurant further down the street. If coming from the square it's just before the gym and garage on the left. (If that's any help).

Convenient central location, comfortable and stylishly presented with a good breakfast.

There is no lift to the third floor so ask for a second floor room if this is an issue. The shower is good but quite small and a larger person would not fit in it. Take insect spray as there were many mosquitoes in our room, we were told October is the season for them.

The hotel was comfy and clean. Good WiFi and had smart tv. The Breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs and bacon on offer as well has continental. We had a room that looked over the quieter side street which had very little to no noise. Great location for both transport, shops, restaurants and sight seeing.

The actual shower cubicle was so small it was hard to lift your arms up to wash yourself. I soaped up outside the cubicle and rinsed off inside. I am an average sized person not big or small.

Residenza Fiorentina was a great hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our floor had its own water dispenser which is critical when in Florence. Everything was within walking distance from our hotel and everything is about 15 minutes no matter which way. Rooms were clean and restroom was spacious enough to move around. Our view was over the main road, you felt like a local looking out of it. Breakfast was AMAZING! It is definitely not your typical continental breakfast. Overall, great local hotel for the price and great location!

A/C is not adjustable but nothing a cold shower couldn't fix at the end of a full day.

Fantastic location in walking distance to the major attractions. The room was nice and clean. The staff were nice and friendly.

The pillow options were a brick or a brick. An option of a softer pillow would have been great. The hallways and stairways can be a bit of a maze. If you like a challenge in the middle of the night when you want to get some chilled water then this is the place for you! I’m not marking the property down for this because we didn’t really find it an issue, but it’s unusual not to have water available in the room. And without mentioning names my partner had a ‘man look’ for the water and came back empty handed.

Great location — most major landmarks are within a 15-minute walk. There’s a budget-friendly mini market nearby, as well as plenty of restaurants and bars. Transport - Both train and taxi station are very close. The room was clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and enough space, even though it wasn’t very large. The bathroom was also clean and well-stocked with toiletries, but the shower was quite small. The staff was professional and helpful, although we didn’t need much assistance during our stay. Breakfast was generous, though it could use more variety. One downside was the central AC — we could only turn it on or off, but couldn’t adjust the temperature, which was uncomfortable on some hotter nights. Although the building has an elevator, there are about 20 additional steps to reach the rooms, which might be an issue for guests with mobility difficulties. All in all, it’s a solid 3-star accommodation. I would recommend it, especially if the minor drawbacks mentioned aren’t a concern for you.

This was a gem of a find, super central location, easy walk from the station, good restaurants and all main sights. Relatively quite despite the central location, and very modern and spacious in both the rooms and public spaces (and despite being in a very old building). Clean and comfortable, good breakfast. Loved the added touch of the filtered water machine in the corridor and jugs in the room.

Slightly tricky to find the first time - big wooden door with an intercom buzzer next to it naming the hotel, and the door will be opened when you ring. (there is also a rear entrance on a side street which we ended up finding first!)

Gorgeous old hotel, great breakfast in a beautiful dining room, large spacious room and bathroom. Convenient to everything including the railway station once we got familiar with the way around the area. Great having 24/7 ability to refill water bottles with filtered water

Staff didn't speak English particularly well. Address on booking.com takes you to the back side of the hotel with giant closed doors and a buzzer which confused us and trying to find it using google maps was a disaster! Main entrance is actually on the very narrow Via Del Moro, number 15 straight opposite Garga restaurant. Our room was like a sauna in April and they weren't able to put on the air conditioner as not summer or winter but they brought us a fan for overnight. If we opened the window it was too noisy from bars and traffic and mossies came in.

3* hotel but staff were 4* so helpful and friendly, excellent location, very quirky hotel

Hard to find on first day, hotel has 2 entrances and door on via Fossi was closed.
