the hotel was fine and it was our 2nd visit. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was excellent, room was very nice.

Sadly, we might not go back because there were too many drug addicts (or alcoholics?) in the area when we were coming home late from a theater performance. We are not night owls and are usually back to the hotel room by 9 - 1100 pm the latest. We had to practically walk over a few people to get in one of the entrances to the hotel. I was late in providing this review because I was reluctant to mention this. Sorry if I appear arrogant.

I return to this NH again and again because it has an excellent location, parking (paid), close to shops, restaurants and my favorite museums, the Naschmarkt (food and market) and Neubau which is a lovely neighbourhood. This is my favorite part of Vienna to stay in, walking distance to the 1st district as well. The rooms are very comfortable, large in comparison to similar hotels in this price range. Room was clean, there's a small fridge, water cooker and a nice shower. It is right next to an underground station.

For those who care about design, you won't find any here. This is a very simple no nonsense hotel and I prefer to pay for space and location than design in boutique hotels with tiny rooms.

We had a courtyard room which was nice and quiet. Room was spacious and very clean. Bedding clean and crisp. An underground transport line almost on the doorstep. Excellent location to shops, restaurants and within walking distance to many attractions.

I understand in winter airconditioning is turned off, however this makes for a 'stuffy' and hot night's sleep. Though the windows could open, it was not comfortable to sleep with it open from a security aspect. Perhaps if the windows had a tilting mechanism? To be fair, this is an issue we encounter at many of our stays. Perhaps a couple of fans made available would be greatly appreciated.

(1) Large space with wooden floors, suitable for babies to crawl on. (2) Comfortable bed. (3) Convenient location next to the Neubaugasse station on the U3 line and the shopping street Mariahilfer Strasse. Within walking distance, there are a Billa, a Billa-plus, a Biomarkt, several dm shops, and a bakery (open on Sunday), potentially avoiding overpriced items in the Innerstadt. (4) Helpful hotel staff (5) Quiet room facing Lindengasse

(1) The room heating did not seem to work very well, but the weather wasn't cold during my stay, so it was fine. (2) Although located next to the Neubaugasse station, there are a few staircases if one doesn't want to take a detour to enter from the main road entrance (Lindengasse). (3) Another nuisance is that the section of the U3 line between Neubaugasse and Stephansplatz is usually crowded, which can make it difficult to get a baby stroller in.

Warm. Silent, cozy, peaceful just enough to take your breath away and then go for a trip, or just a walk to the markets for Christmas. We also went on a longer trip to Halstatt and Salzburg and made shoppings quite easily because the hotel was in the middle of Mariahilferstrasse.We were enchanted with carrols at St Stephan Cathedral and with Rigoletto by Verdi at the Vienna Stadt Opera.

There is nothing you could dislike and I will make a comeback to this hotel

The staff was exceptionally professional. Room clean. They offer free drinks if you don't ask to clean your room, that is a great contribution to protection of the environment. Kids were happy to eat free cookies and sweets near the reception. Even after the water pipe was broken (it was not fault of the hotel), the management immediately helked us to move to another room. I was impressed how they planned in advance to meet us: even our small dog received her bed and two bowels.

All was perfect.

The staff deserves to be praised. Both on reception and during breakfast service. The breakfast was great. Good choice of salty and sweet items, everything fresh and regularly replenished by the staff. The room had really good curtains, we could sleep well. Finally a hotel that delivers on the ecological cleaning promise. We didn't get any towels or cleaning unless we wanted.

The room could use some maintenance, the towel hanger came off the wall and the toilet brush came apart. The lighting is very dim, if you choose to eat dinner in the room, you can barely see it. There is a kitchenette in the family room but there are no plates, bowls or cutlery. Only coffee cups and spoons.

On arrival reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Explained a lot about the area etc. we were allocated a corner room which was situated in a separate entrance from the main reception on the second floor. It was a great room. Spotlessly clean, separate very large living space with a large sofa, armchair, work desk with two further chairs and tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge. The bedroom was big with two single beds and a full bathroom. Lots of closet space also. Hotel is in a good area about 10/15 minutes walk from museum quarter. Lots of little cafes near it serving breakfast and literally on top of the underground so easy to get everywhere. If you exit the hotel onto Lindengasse and head into the area behind there are lots of lovely reasonably priced restaurants and bars.

To be honest nothing. It would have been nice if there was a bar/restaurant if you didn’t want to go out but the area has a great choice so I understand why they don’t have one.

Breakfast was really great, with lots of variety. Location is amazing with tran lines and tube lines within walking distance. The hotel is located right at a shopping street. Room was big.

The shower experience was awful, with no proper water blockage, every time we showered the whole toilet got wet! This was super annoying as we stayed there for 5 nights. The hotel cleaned our room/toilet and changed our toilets every time, even though we kept the towels hanged to avoid water waste.

I have to say this was one of our nicest and most pleasant hotel stays ever, and we do travel a lot. Firstly, I would like to commend the staff which was extremely friendly and always at our disposal to accomodate us in whatever way possible, which made our stay more than memorable! A personalized welcome note was also an extremely nice touch by the NH team, as well as a wide array of tea, coffee and water. The room itself exceeded our expectations, it was extremely spatious, clean and well-equipped with many toiletries and amenities. We will definitely be coming again in the future as it was a truly remarkable and memorable stay we would love to repeat!
