We had a very pleasant stay — the room was comfortable, and the location was excellent for everything we needed. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, and we were delighted to receive a thoughtful birthday surprise during our stay. It really made our visit special.

If I had to be picky, the bed and pillow could be a bit more suited to my preferences. It would be nice to have power outlets on both sides of the bed — unless I missed them. I’d also appreciate slightly better chairs, a movable table instead of one fixed to the wall, and a somewhat more comfortable sofa. That said, none of these things were deal-breakers — we would definitely be happy to come back.

the hotel was fine and it was our 2nd visit. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was excellent, room was very nice.

Sadly, we might not go back because there were too many drug addicts (or alcoholics?) in the area when we were coming home late from a theater performance. We are not night owls and are usually back to the hotel room by 9 - 1100 pm the latest. We had to practically walk over a few people to get in one of the entrances to the hotel. I was late in providing this review because I was reluctant to mention this. Sorry if I appear arrogant.

This is my fourth stay at this hotel, and I choose it mainly for its excellent location on Mariahilfer Strasse and the convenience of having air conditioning during Vienna’s hot summer days. The rooms are spacious, clean, and divided into two areas — a living room and a bedroom — which is especially nice when traveling with family. The location is unbeatable, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. The staff are always very helpful. One change this year is that free parking is no longer available; it now costs €22 per night.

Lack of free parking

I return to this NH again and again because it has an excellent location, parking (paid), close to shops, restaurants and my favorite museums, the Naschmarkt (food and market) and Neubau which is a lovely neighbourhood. This is my favorite part of Vienna to stay in, walking distance to the 1st district as well. The rooms are very comfortable, large in comparison to similar hotels in this price range. Room was clean, there's a small fridge, water cooker and a nice shower. It is right next to an underground station.

For those who care about design, you won't find any here. This is a very simple no nonsense hotel and I prefer to pay for space and location than design in boutique hotels with tiny rooms.

We had a courtyard room which was nice and quiet. Room was spacious and very clean. Bedding clean and crisp. An underground transport line almost on the doorstep. Excellent location to shops, restaurants and within walking distance to many attractions.

I understand in winter airconditioning is turned off, however this makes for a 'stuffy' and hot night's sleep. Though the windows could open, it was not comfortable to sleep with it open from a security aspect. Perhaps if the windows had a tilting mechanism? To be fair, this is an issue we encounter at many of our stays. Perhaps a couple of fans made available would be greatly appreciated.

Warm. Silent, cozy, peaceful just enough to take your breath away and then go for a trip, or just a walk to the markets for Christmas. We also went on a longer trip to Halstatt and Salzburg and made shoppings quite easily because the hotel was in the middle of Mariahilferstrasse.We were enchanted with carrols at St Stephan Cathedral and with Rigoletto by Verdi at the Vienna Stadt Opera.

There is nothing you could dislike and I will make a comeback to this hotel

(1) Large space with wooden floors, suitable for babies to crawl on. (2) Comfortable bed. (3) Convenient location next to the Neubaugasse station on the U3 line and the shopping street Mariahilfer Strasse. Within walking distance, there are a Billa, a Billa-plus, a Biomarkt, several dm shops, and a bakery (open on Sunday), potentially avoiding overpriced items in the Innerstadt. (4) Helpful hotel staff (5) Quiet room facing Lindengasse

(1) The room heating did not seem to work very well, but the weather wasn't cold during my stay, so it was fine. (2) Although located next to the Neubaugasse station, there are a few staircases if one doesn't want to take a detour to enter from the main road entrance (Lindengasse). (3) Another nuisance is that the section of the U3 line between Neubaugasse and Stephansplatz is usually crowded, which can make it difficult to get a baby stroller in.

Spacious enough room to accommodate three adults. Air conditioned rooms which was indispensable in the summer heat. Parking garage is right next to the hotel and reasonably priced. Good location, right by a subway/metro station (U3) and in walking distance to the first district.

It is kind of hidden in the back of the Mariahilferstrasse entrance, past shops, with steps up to the reception and also to the room. The better entrance is from Lindenstrasse.

The staff was exceptionally professional. Room clean. They offer free drinks if you don't ask to clean your room, that is a great contribution to protection of the environment. Kids were happy to eat free cookies and sweets near the reception. Even after the water pipe was broken (it was not fault of the hotel), the management immediately helked us to move to another room. I was impressed how they planned in advance to meet us: even our small dog received her bed and two bowels.

All was perfect.

The hotel is located very close to Museum quarter. You can walk to many touristic attractions. I can't skip mentioning how delicious the breakfast was. We could find many things that were suitable for our 2.5 year old daughter. We stayed in the superior room which is very spacious. Our room was cleaned every day. The street where the hotel is located is full of supermarkets, restorants and shops.
