We arrived on a hot day after walking from the train station; We were immediately greeted by Carlos who got us glasses of water; Carlos made check-in easy and gave us suggestions for restaurants that he recommended; He even gave us a recommendation for a unique bar in the down-town area; Our room was fine although not as big and deluxe as the NH Hotel room we had just left in Ghent; Great WIFI and USB ports; bed was comfy and the linens were terrific; Breakfast was great; You could order made-to-order entrees and the buffet was beautifully presented and replenished; The wait staff was exceptional!! All food items were fresh and delicious and there was sparkling wine available so you could have a morning Mimosa. There were restaurants and shops nearby so the location was very convenient.

There was nothing to complain about in this hotel

The location is perfect, steps away from all the important sights, yet it's on a quiet square. We had a junior suit, it was beautiful and spacious. It even had a second toilet. Only the beds were too new and a little to hard for our taste. But that depends on what are you used to I guess. The staff is very friendly and kind. The breakfast was superb. We also liked the idea of skipping cleaning for a day for 1 free drink from the minibar pp. This was not our first time here, and if we return to Brussel, we'll certainly book the same hotel, probably the same room. :)

I recently stayed at the NH Collection Brussels Grand Sablon and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the charming Sablon district, within walking distance of Brussels’ main attractions and surrounded by fine restaurants, art galleries, and world-class chocolatiers. The hotel stands out for its exceptional cleanliness and the warm, welcoming attitude of the staff. Every team member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and highly professional, making us feel genuinely taken care of from the moment we arrived. One of the absolute highlights was the outstanding comfort of the bed — a high-quality mattress topped with a plush topper and perfectly supportive pillows made for an incredibly restful night’s sleep. It’s rare to find this level of comfort, even in upscale hotels. Also worth mentioning is the quality of the bathroom amenities, which were clearly selected with care and added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. All in all, this was an excellent experience in every respect. We will definitely be back!

The junior suite was truly a "junior suite" with two large rooms that could be separated by french doors. The furniture was good and lighting was easy to use. Electrical outlets were available and easy to find.

The beautiful 6-piece bath (shower, tub, 2 sinks, bidet, toilet) has a SERIOUS drain smell problem. This problem can be mitigated or reduced by simply having cleaning staff CLOSE the drains after cleaning. The smell in the bathroom was OUTRAGEOUS, it was so strong. We ran water into all the drains and then closed the drains. The smell decreased. We are aware the drains are old. But, there are methods of managing the 'badness' -- and oh, it was BAD!

The front desk and concierge exhibited exceptional hospitality. Very helpful and friendly. Especially Carlos, a gentleman whose name started with an ‘M’, Namjid(?) and the doorman/bellman. Given my early flight and subsequent wait for my room to be ready, Carlos was very kind in upgrading me to a room with a lovely view and in the meanwhile, directed me to some lovely nearby cafes and sites. A great first impression to both the hotel and the city itself.

Except for 2 gentlemen (the host and one of the servers whose name started with an ‘F’) who were excellent during breakfast service, the other servers were quite unfriendly, one bordering on unprofessional and required prompting to clear dishes or to attend to my table. This is the only reason why I didn’t rate your hotel even higher!

The hotel is in a great location (a higher end area of Brussels). Breakfast selection was amazing and the gentlemen who work the breakfast room are extremely well trained, friendly, and customer service oriented. Five stars to them.

The daily “cleaning” leaves much to be desired. For example, things that are clearly garbage weren’t thrown away, towels were not replaced, and a towel we left by our door was not picked up even though it was clearly dirty. For a four star property this is not acceptable.

It was pretty much spot on - apart from the pillows

For the love of God please sort out your pillows - all hotels should have a thick heavy pillow and then a lighter thin one. They were awful - sort of weird tubes that were so uncomfortable

This hotel is exceptional! Spotlessly clean, spacious bedrooms and such a friendly, helpful staff! Reception helped us with queries about trains, eating out etc. It was a lovely gesture remembering we were celebrating my birthday and upon arrival a note and treats were in the room. We had booked a room online but when we arrived the receptionist recommended a similar room but with a better view as we had requested a good view when booking- again very thoughtful. Rooms were tastefully decorated and the big winner for me was the fantastic hairdryer in the bathroom! Best ever! My thick hair dried in no time! The Sablon area is a beautiful place to stay- lovely cafes, antique shops so close by. We will definitely return to stay again!

Nothing- the hotel was excellent!

We had a great stay at NH Collection Brussels Grand Sablon. Our junior suite was beautiful, spacious, and had an amazing view of the church, as well as some city sights like the big wheel. The location was excellent, within easy reach of key attractions. Fantastic location in a charming area. Beautiful junior suite with a great view. Huge bed, very comfortable but a bit bouncy. Some furniture had small damage (chipped cabinets, small holes), and a bit of repainting would help. The mini bar pricing was unclear—there were no prices listed, and we had to call reception to confirm. If one person moves in bed, the other will feel it—a small issue for light sleepers.

Breakfast was very good and hotel spotless. Staff were very friendly. Location excellent with cafes nearby . Easy to walk everywhere.

We weren't able to get a twin room despite booking well in advance. As travelling with my daughter a double bed, even though large, was not what we wanted. Booking.com should make it clearer at booking that this request may not be met. It was only after paying that a message popped up to advise not guaranteed.
