It's a great stop over for flights as it's clean and quiet and has a free shuttle bus to both airports

I caught a 630am shuttle to the airport and purposely did not check out so my mum could have a sleep in and man from house keeping walked into the room at 7am and woke her up scaring the hell out of her. Apparently reception took it upon themselves to mark the room as empty even though we both checked in the night before and 2 people were listed on the booking. I stay here regularly and staff are terrific and this is the first time this has happened so will ensure next time I make a point in telling them not to mark the room as empty. Was guttered when my mum called and told me a strange man just walked into her room turned the lights on and she was in a deep sleep woken up with a fright. Disappointed.

As we had an early morning flight we booked into the Hotel, expecting to be delivered outside Departures, and later on our return to be picked up by the shuttle, from Arrivals. Our car was left safely in the locked car park.

As a disabled person I had two dreadful experiences at the airport. Once dropped off by the shuttle, I could not walk to Departures which was quite some distance, and had to be rescued by a buggy. On our return, we could not walk to your shuttle and managed to get the buggy ordered by our friends to take us to the Blue Bus, which then took us en route to the taxi. This then cost us $41 to get to the Hotel.

Room service was quick and delicious food. Female receptionist was awesome. Parking was easy and free. Lovely room. Extremely clean, very impressed. Included breakfast.

No hand towel rails in the bathroom. No metal grill in the bathroom sink just a hole which was white plastic plumbing and a bit dirty, and had to ask for a plug. When I approached reception a male worker said just a moment did something on the computer and walked away from me and out the back and never came back to me. I waited until a female worker finished with her customer before I got served. I thought that was pretty rude.

Great communication regarding booking and transfers. The airport transfers were easy and quick - especially with a group of 7 of us. Upon arrival I really appreciated being asked if I needed another transfer and what time I’d like, plus the wake up call. The team were quick to respond to any additional requests - from assistance with interconnecting doors to the tv ect. Room service was fast. Our meal at the in-house restaurant was delicious and exceeded my expectations. Rooms very tidy and clean. Comfortable facilities.

The only nit pick I had was the shower pressure could be better but on par with alot of other places.

I stayed one night at this hotel with my parents, who are over 70 years old, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the team welcomed us with genuine warmth and care. The check-in staff exceeded our expectations, and every team member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and stress-free. Our room was comfy (good beds/clean), quiet and well-equipped (fridge, kettle with generous coffee/tea/hot choc supplies). The hotel shuttle service was outstanding—flexible, reliable, and staffed by dedicated team members who made sure we felt safe, comfortable, and punctual for our travels to and from the hotel. Shuttle Pick up at airport is very convenient (from International and Domestic) _ call when you need it. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a generous buffet with fruits, dairy products, assorted breads, cereals, eggs, bacon, and more.... I had booked a double queen room, with accessible bathroom, and could get a late check out till 3 pm (paying service but very useful), which provided us with much-needed rest. Overall, this hotel truly excels in service, comfort, and hospitality. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a welcoming and well-managed place to stay. We have stayed at Heartland Hotel a few times now. It is in a great location close to the airport. What we really like about staying here is that it has a free shuttle to the airport and then back to the hotel after your travel. You can park your car for a reasonable fee and know that it is going to be safe. On this occasion, we got back to the hotel from the airport late morning and they were able to accommodate us and get us into a room before the usual check-in time. This was appreciated as we had some washing and sorting to get done before heading away again the following morning. We will continue to make this our go-to place to park and stay when traveling out of Auckland Airport.

Only 5-ish minutes from the Auckland airport. You stay here for the free shuttle to/from the airport (everyone on our shuttle was leaving the next day). It took some back and forth with the management to understand how to call the shuttle without New Zealand cell service -- there are courtesy pay phones in the airport and a toll free number to request the shuttle -- but the shuttle stop was pretty easy to find after we exited. A pretty standard hotel room: clean, nothing fancy. Unlike some other hotels near the airport, this one was walkable to a strip mall with restaurants, which provided an easy dinner option without having to call a taxi or ride share. The shuttle driver also mentioned that the shuttle could take you to a supermarket close by, if you wanted. We didn't take them on on this, but thought it was nice that they offered that service.

The early morning shuttle driver was making very inaccurate proclamations about vacation "policies" in the United States 😂 Entertaining but a little unprofessional.

I’ve stayed here on two separate occasions and in both counts had a pleasant stay. It’s ideal for the beginning or end of a trip, as it’s a 40 minute walk from the airport or a 5/10 minute drive as well as being a 20 minute walk from nearby shops or restaurants. They’ll offer to organise shuttles if required. Property is clean, spacious and has a downstairs bar/seating area. Would definitely stay here again the night before an international flight.

It was great to have 24/7 free shuttle, it was humid hot in Auckland and opened the door of my room and the A/C was on and the room was a nice temperature. Ordered room service and settled in to watch some TV before sleeping. The hotel is close to the airport, my room was on the 3rd floor I didn’t get any outside noise waking me up during the night. The room has a spa bath that I didn’t realise until the morning. The shuttle drivers were really great they helped me with my bags and mobility walker.

The food was quite pricey $30 for a beacon sandwich I ended up just getting a bowl of chips with aioli and tomato sauce. I didn’t receive a fork & there weren’t any in the room. I didn’t realise that the shower was above the bath, having bad knees I couldn’t risk having a shower, I couldn’t see a slip resistant mat to put in the bottom of the bath. But I was only there one night and can cope without a shower for one day.

Hotel booking was under my name Ruth. (Booking.com is under my daughters name) We only stayed 1 night but I want to shout a loud THANKYOU to the shuttle drivers who picked up me and my sisters from airport. Special thankyou to Khamid who was so friendly and went the extra mile with ensuring a smooth pickup for my sister who landed 2am due to flight delays. So thankful there is an inhouse restaurant. I checked in 7pm and was tired and hungry. Didnt feel like going anywhere to eat so that was an added bonus.
