Great location, modern building, clean, easy to find.

Booking.com stated that parking was included in room price however when I arrived at reception I was told that it wasnt and that parking was an additional $30 overnight. It takes the pleasure out of a special stay. I was annoyed, but what can you do when you are in the CBD with a car that needs to be parked somewhere? Its not good enough.

Amazing location. Literally next door to Spark Arena. Within walking distance to britomart, commercial bay, viaduct. Very close to woolworths a convenience store and places to eat. The 2 bedroom (actually 3) family apartments are good size and had all the basic necessities you would need for cooking/eating meals. It's great to have laundry facilities in the room as well. We stayed as we did Around the Bays, and it was great, as it is close to the start line, and the shuttle buses back dropped us off literally out the front. Parking is close $35 a night with unlimited entry/exit, but you have to go to reception every time you want to leave to get a card.

Could be rather noisy due to traffic, etc, but the apartment we had was at the top, so it didn't bother us at much as it probably would for the ground floor apartments. The door in our room didn't shut properly, but it didn't bother us that much as we slept with it open anyway. I'm not sure if the TV's had freeview, but it would have been good to be able to watch TV rather than YouTube etc. Seemed a little pricey but made up for it with location and size of apartment. Could probably do with a little spruceup and deep clean in parts.

The location was great. Bed was comfortable. The room was not serviced when we want the room to be serviced. We were told it was to be done only the next day, which was a Wednesday. Toiletries were not replaced unless asked. Need to be cleaned edges as there were black spots which looked like was not cleaned regularly. I would stay there again because of the very obliging staff.

No variety for breakfast. They did make eggs on my request for Dairy Free. No fruits nor healthy options. The hotel we stayed in Whangarei had so much breakfast options. You might have to learn from them. We live unfortunately in a world of many health issues. This is not a complain a feedback to improve

The location to spark was amazing. It was well priced. Parking wasn’t too hard once you figure out where it is. Front of house staff where helpful

The breakfast. The included breakfast was sub par. Sausages looked anaemic, eggs were watery, other food was OK. The staff at Nook didn’t welcome us. They were obviously busy but could have explained where to get plates etc, that the coffee machine was broken and the tables hadn’t been cleared and had to ask for cutlery. Coffee machine was broken (but did have someone fixing it). Probably wouldn’t worry about getting inclusive again. The reception staff explained where to go to park but it would be nice if they explained how to get back from the parking building. Walk all the way back around when it’s just there at the back.

We got a room on the top floor on the other side of the hotel from the main road. It was nice and quiet, so had a fantastic sleep. Stayed on the main road side the week prior and the traffic noise kept me awake a lot of the night.

Breakfast was included but it was cereal and toast. The previous week when it was Neusto we had hot options as well, so it was disappointing to not have that. Also, we called for room service, were told to call back at 5 pm, so waited an hour to call again and were told there was no room service that night. Would have been good to know the 1st time we called.

The room was very spacious which was really good as we travelled as a group of 8 people. Had enough room for the children to run around and play leaving the adults space to chill. The apartment was tidy, one couldn't hear other neighbours and it had everything we needed for our stay.

Our room was on the roadside so it was pretty noisy in the evening and night time. However, when staying at the heart of the CBD, it is somewhat expected. The staff wasn't the friendliest and seemed very inexperienced, so little improvement on the customer service side would've been appreciated. We also didn't have enough towels or bedding in the room for everyone who had been booked in, so had to request some extra. The room also wasn't ready at our arrival so we had to wait 30 minutes for it to be ready. Also the bathroom door didn't close properly and couldn't be locked, so when in the toilet, it kept opening on its own. But these weren't major issues for us and overall we were very happy with this hotel.

The location was perfect for where I needed to be and also close walking distance into the CBD. There was also a supermarket a 3 minute walk away which was very handy. The room was a good size without being too big and the bed was huge and super comfortable with nice soft pillows. The shower was better than my one at home. Great water pressure and was just what I needed after partying for 2 nights. The young woman on the desk was lovely to talk to and we ended up having a great chat about all kinds of things. She checked me in earlier than I was supposed to and also gave me a late check out of 12pm. Great service from her and she was a trainee. She'll go far jn the hospitality industry 😊

The kettle didn't switch off when it had finished boiling the water. Apart from that, everything else was good.

The location of Nesuto to the Spark Arena was perfect. We were able to walk around the city centre and it was easy to follow the directions, eventually, and there was ample to look at and do. The location of the Woolworths supermarket allowed us to get what we needed without needing to drive anywhere and the variety of dining within walking distance of Nesuto, made it a difficult choice to agree on where to dine.

The room was neat and tidy but the bed was really uncomfortable each time we moved as these were two single mattresses on a double base. There were only two towels in the room on our arrival so we had to ask for more towels. We asked for more tea bags, milk and sugar. The staff were very helpful and supportive but it was odd when we asked for tea bags that the person at the counter, opened the box and handed us a handful of tea bags, then did the same with the sugar. It is good practice to put these into a bag, paper bag even, with the hotel logo on it, for a person to carry these types of items, to their room.

I like the convenience to my daughter, who lives very locally. It’s also great for visiting around Auckland and has convenient access to transport links.

I felt the house keeping standards had dropped a bit since my last day. Corridors needed vacuum cleaning and I had to ask for toilet roll at reception on at least 2 occasions. Also despite using my cups everyday, I resorted to washing them in the sink because they weren’t replaced. Finally, in other hotels, towels are usually replaced when they’re left on the floor, to help the environment and reduce costs. I ended up with 5 bath towels, despite single occupancy.

Overall very clean. Convenient location. staff were very helpful and friendly, will be coming back.

Shower could be cleaner, but everything else was spotless. Would have loved tissue boxes in bedroom or lounge instead of being hidden in bathroom. Also would have liked shower caps, nail file things like that in bathroom. And brighter lighting in lounge, hard to see. Lastly, checking out took a while as the process itself was very quick and straight forwards, but there were a huge queue of people and not many staff to help move through the very slow people in the queue that wanted extra time. Not alot of gluten free on menu for in-house service. Very small minor things; would give this a 9/10 overall.
