I absolutely adored the decor, the room arrangement, the ability to connect my device to the television, the bed size and comfort & the heating. It was simply brilliant. I would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting a comfortable, stylish & comfy stay in Winter. The staff were lovely too & I will certainly return here in the near future !

The only thing I would have liked is if there were “Do Not Disturb” signs on the inside of the door handle. I struggled with the housekeeping appearing and knocking on my door mid shower. A lot of places have these signs to comfortably inform the workers they’re unavailable in the moment, and do not wish to be disturbed.

Great location and very clean rooms, but the highlight was the exceptional service - they really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

This hotel, room, linen, cleanliness etc was great. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were excellent. Great to have a kitchette (albeit small) inc. plates/bowls/cuttlery etc. Great location for the gig at the Tuning Fork (only about 5 mins walk away). Britomart about 10 mins walk.

Although the mattress and linens were excellent, 3 of the 4 pillows were fat and too firm. In retrospect, after the first night I should have asked at Reception (or the housekeeping staff) for a softer, less fat pillow. There is no ‘pillow menu’ but I would hope a more comfortable pillow could be found as this was the only thing which was an issue for me.

The Room size was really good and it was clean. Got the nice Harbor view room. The staff at the check in counter was welcoming.

Just the problem with the car parking. To drop off and pick luggage, i had to bring the car to the foot path and do it. And the problem with the parking. I had to wait for 30 minutes in the morning for the Wilson parking shutter to open to remove the car as the pin given by the hotel didn’t work and nobody was there at the reception even though i called multiple times on the number. Other than the car parking issue, everything else was great.

The bathroom was amazing and bigger than i thought. Bed was comfy, room looked and felt very clean. Exactly like the pictures! Also we didn’t get the side of the building facing the city and bigger buildings, but the view was still immaculate.

When we first got there, we were told to park on the footpath which was tricky cause of the location and traffic. That would have been the only downside, there were and are no parkings alongside the hotel. In which we couldn’t park at the parking we paid for just yet since we had to go in the building to grab our confirmation and code.

Love the location. Close to everything we needed. Rooms are always clean and bog enough for our stay. Reception is lovely and open, very friendly staff. Bathrooms are spacious with good water pressure in the shower. It's a nice touch to have toiletries provided. And USB charges in most wall sockets.

Only gripe we have is the air con unit in each room we stay. It's very loud regardless of what setting or mode you have it on. It was quite muggy when we stayed and wanted to have some cool air on is while we slept but the unit was too loud for that to happen.

Good location for accessing the ferries to the islands in the Hauraki Gulf. Plenty of cafés about and places to eat in the evening. A self-service laundromat virtually next door. Lovely and quiet (our room was at the back of the hotel on the first floor) and a very comfortable bed.

The pillows for the bed were too plump and I got a kink in my neck. The hotel supplied 4 pillows (2 per side) but they were all equally plump - it would have been nice to have had a choice (1 plump and 1 not so much). The room was rather dark because their was another building close to it (but there were no windows in the other building that looked into our room)

We have just enjoyed one night at Imagine Beach Road. Our room was exactly as pictured: sparkling, clean and spacious with a great view of Downtown Auckland. Well equipped for basic self catering, the kettle, fridge and microwave were very useful. The shower was also great with plenty of hot water. The accommodation is centrally and conveniently located, but above all we must thank the welcoming, friendly and very helpful staff for their kind assistance. If we visit Auckland again, we will definitely visit Imagine Beach Road again. On top of all the positives mentioned, it also offers very good value.

I liked the room so nice and the view omg, to die for in the studio executive suit. Find it annoying that I had to go through two doors to get into my suit, the bed was good loved everything, having utensils and plates were so good.

The parking I think it’s weird to have parking like 10 Minutes away and not have your own parking but obviously not a biggie. Also I lost a wallet in my room after housekeeping being in there and when I went to tell staff they said they didn’t find anything but I clearly left it there so that’s a bit odd to me. The TV was hard to figure out had to ask a friend who’s been there before and controlling it was hard from bed had to press down hard

Everything was great! The staff was very help-full and informative from check-in to check-out. Our room was large & super-clean with a fantastic shower and super-comfy bed & bedding. The blackout blinds were terrific and the selection of tea and coffee in the room was great. The fresh milk given to us at check-in was a great touch. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening and were very satisfied with the service, drinks, food and the price! This was a total hit and a much needed break before our very long journey back to the uk. We were totally rested in the morning.

It's so petty, but possibly a couple of more sachets of proper coffee in the room would've made it even better. We had plenty of choice of everything else, various teas, hot chocolate and de-caff coffee, but only 2 proper normal coffees. I am a coffee drinker and I am sure if I had asked they would've send more coffee to us, I just didn't want to trouble the reception with such a small request.
