The location is very good, close to the university and also to the city center and the harbor. + fridge in the room + microwave + large bathroom and large shower + air conditioning + some receptionists were very helpful + the manager helped to solve some problems with our booking, which was very nice of them + in the kitchen we found a lot of shared staff, so you don't need to buy everything for cooking, such as salt, pans, spices or oil for events

The hotel is located on a hill, so you have to go up slowly, but it's a sport anyway Something smelled outside the hotel, kinda smelly cat

The price, the parking

Our bed was broken, and there was a separate roller triangle thing that was under the bottom left hand side of the bed. This kept popping out which made our bed unpeeled. The mattress was super hard and felt like a board was put under the mattress. . The bed was very very uncomfortable and the let down of the whole trip as we had lots of work to do and stayed in the room most of the time. We have booked the gamma hotel quite a number of times now due to great prices and especially the parking as we are from out of town. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. They just need to replace the bed and mattress in room 119.

i like to stay here every year when i come up to Auckland for my church's Shout event. the location, price, level of noise, and the room has what i need. when i happen to get a nice window view that's even better but it's not every time. i like that there are no bars nearby so I don't have much issue with noisey people.

I don't think there is anything I don't like here. I've figured out what i need to do to prepare for my stay and be happy. i get a few groceries and a fork and I'm pretty sorted (the room has cup and spoon only with a few drink sachets and teeny milk things)

The upgrade to a bigger and more equipped room that was offered to me because the window in my tiny room didn't open whatsoever. I also liked the kitchen on the hallway of the hotel. The location of the hotel was also perfect for me because it was central and close to my friends' place. Easy access to the reception upon arrival and easy departure.

The very poorly equipped original room of mine: not only the window didn't open there but there was nowhere to hang my clothes there -- hangers or a clothes' cupboard were not part of the furniture. It was very plain and non-traveller-friendly. The upgrade had hangers but no cupboard either.

The staff were helpful so we could travel in safe. The room is big enough than I expected. Kettle, microwave, dryer, airconditioner, TV and wifi are available. The shower is hot enough. We used a car park which is very secured. It's located close to the harbor so we walked there for dinner. Early check-out is also available.

A washed towel was clean but many hairs on it. Only two plugs which are mainly for a kettle and microwave are available. There is one chair. Looks like some people are living in the warehouse. The location is a bit dark at night.

We regularly come and stay here for events at the Cloud, it’s a 10 minute walk away and always lovely and clean. Great value for money. Always our go-to location when staying up for a weekend. Really easy to check-in and out

Parking is very limited so often hit or miss for us when we arrive, but there is an open air Wilson car park 2 min walk away, and the Britomart Carpark 5min walk away. Both are about $20 for a night, but very convenient location.

I stayed for 2 nights very clean, was able to use the shared kitchen, very quiet and had own bathroom and own carpark that cost $15 per nite so affordable in middle of town very convenient Staff very kind would let me charge my ph up at desk as I left my wall charger hm in levin Thank you for having us

My rm ŵas a double very small - has no shelf or cupboards 2 help with placing clothes or bathroom items on didn't like going up and down stairs as I had already a sore knee so would ask next time for a room where I don't have to walk up stairs

Enjoyed our stay, bed was very comfortable and the air con was blasting towards us where we were laying and it was beautiful after a hot day out. Shower was beautiful I couldn’t get over it. Very affordable as well!!! Staff were very friendly, helpful and amazing especially allowing me to hire a company to decorate room to make it a bit more special.

The cleaners were very loud in the morning, doors were getting slammed and woke up in a fright was kind of annoying especially after staying up late and wanting a good sleep. Walls are very thin could hear the people next door and walking in the hall way. Could do with a elevator as some have heavy luggage

There was a microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge. Although there was no cutlery, it was still possible to warm food if you so chose. Good quality pillows and it was clean. It was nice to have a window to open and get fresh air. There is a smallish park (historical) directly opposite the accommodation with a huge Pohutukawa tree. The Canadian Embassy is right next door. It is in walking distance to restaurants, attractions etc but far away enough from that you don't get the noise of people partying at night from clubs.

There was an internal door that clearly linked to the room next door. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear your neighbours. This was particularly unpleasant when they were clearly having intercourse (until I overtly coughed and banged around to show someone else could hear them). There is no elevator, so even though my room was on the first floor there were a couple of lots of stairs to haul up my luggage. This is okay when you are young and fit, but may not suit those who require more assistance.
