Staff are SO friendly! They were helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations, and sights to see. The breakfast offers continental choices but also has a menu to order hot, fresh made items from.

Breakfast was good if somewhat unvaried. Location was just right, a bit uphill, but then Lisbon is built on 7 hills, so that is hard to avoid wherever you choose unless you stay inside. Which is not what you want to do in a vibrant city like Lisbon. Staff, especially the ladies in the front desk, were helpful and informative with their tips and suggestions. Excellent English too.

Perhaps breakfast could have been a bit varied, although what was on offer was good quality.

Conveniently located, clean, well stocked. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend for a stay in Lisbon.

The rooms became a bit humid — the AC/heat wall unit was not working.

The location is perfect with easy access to attractions and metro. Staff is very friendly and ready to help.

When the windows are closed at night, there is a bad smell in the bathroom.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Me and my father stayed at “Esqina Cosmopolitan Lodge” and we could not be any more satisfied and we love it! It’s a rather small, five story cosy hotel with a personal atmosphere. It has everything you could wish for and more. It has a restaurant, a bar, a two story terrace, 24-hour reception, elevator, wi-fi, airport transfer and much more. The staff is very attentive, supernice and helpful. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable the air conditioning keeps the room cool and the blackout curtains keep the room dark for a good night’s sleep. The room also has a desk, a TV, a water cooker and more. The view from our room on the fifth floor was very nice with an overlook of the historical “Castelo de S. Jorge”. The breakfast was nice (the scrambled eggs and bacon was really delicious), the food was outstanding and the cocktails were really good as well. The terrace is a nice place to have a drink or coffee or just spend time relaxing or talking to each other. The location is absolutely PERFECT!! It’s only a few minute walk to the shore, to the busiest streets of the “Old Town” as well as many popular tourist attractions, historical and cultural sites and other experiences. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anybody and everybody!

Location is fantastic right in the heart of historic Lisbon not far from the Parça de Comercio. Simple hotel with everything one would need, including a grocery store, Pingo Doce, right across the street. Great shower pressure! Also very communicative and actively in touch so great customer service. Early morning sunrise on street side of property is nice. Very good air conditioning, which can be hit or miss in the summer months in Europe. At Esquina it was always cool and worked well. Good breakfast.

Dark hallways. Walls are painted dark likely for ease of maintenance but a lighter color would brighten it up. Rooms are light and simple.

Location was outstanding and hard to beat. Bed was very comfortable, the shower excellent, airco worked perfectly and there was a good mini fridge. But the really outstanding thing about this property was the staff who could not have been more obliging or helpful, and always with a big smile. Exceptional staff were Ms Ines and Ms Taija, with Taija even escorting us outside to ensure we found the right direction and pathway to an attraction. Nothing we asked for was too hard for them. Given the central location the room was also very pleasantly quiet. Overall the presentation of this property was funky and stylish, and clearly different from mainstream offerings.

We have no real comments to make here. A slightly bigger room would have been nice but what was provided worked well for us anyway. The WiFi was at times a little variable but it did the job OK.,

It has been a good accommodation, very close to the center and main attractions. I had the street view room, facing the São Jorge castle. The room was spacious enough, very clean, and they changed my towels every day. The WiFi speed was good, never had issues. Now about the staff - they were amazing! The ladies from the reception helped me set up a very efficient itinerary, offered me tips on what to visit , what transportation to take there, and the restaurants they recommended were amazing. Don’t miss out Bruno’s cocktails either, he’s quite the mixologist. Very happy with this choice of hotel and I would choose it again when I return.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Clean. Bed was extremely comfortable with lovely linen. We had an amazing view from the balcony.

Only complaint would be the fragrance used in the common areas was very over powering.

Central location with a choice of going uphill or downhill and a very important when it n Lisbon 😂

It’s not that I didn’t like about a property exactly, but when you place the sign “do not disturb “, you expect the staff not to enter your room. We stayed 2 nights, arriving very late and leaving very early, so in total less than 30 hours, I didn’t feel the room needed cleaning and was under the impression I made this clear. I suggest the ladies pay attention to the signs on the doors- do not disturb means do not enter.
