We looked at a number of hotels around Lisbon for our 3 nights away. We fancied one with a pool (even if it were only a small one), even though, as it happened, we didn't get around to using it. One key issue, as first timers to Lisbon, was location. As we walked around (and gosh, did we walk) we found ourselves passing each of the other hotels we'd looked at, and each time thought: We made the right choice. The hotel itself is lovely: Room 30 is a big room, two, tripled-glazed, windows over the main Avenue, 3 minutes walk to the Metro, 5 to Rossio, 2 to the Funicular. Breakfast is the traditional mix, but well put together with good ingredients, and there's coffee, port, and cakes available throughout the day if you want to graze. Ultimately, as a base to go and explore, we couldn't have found a better place. The staff were smiley and helpful, the room was lovely. If I could find a fault, I'd tell you to add credibility to this review, but it was spot on.

There really wasn't anything to niggle about. What do you want me to say? That a decanter of port in the room might have led me astray?! No. It was a great hotel and made for a great city break.

Amazing hotel, feels like 5 stars. The hotel is located perfect to explore Lisbon. There is a great breakfast with a huge selection of bread, fruit, cheese / meat etc. In the afternoon there are cookies (pastel de nata) coffee and tee also port wine. The rooms are big and fit the classic style, good beds (mattress is adjustable, just ask) .. also there is a bottle of port wine. Another big pro is the nice staff everywhere and there is a kind of concierge service included. Shoutout to Elliot 🤙 (everyone else was also great)

Very minor: I didn’t find the safe or hair dryer on my own. The chargers in the room are a nice idea, but lack usb-c. No kettle in the room (but the coffee and tee kinda compensates). Didn’t try the pool because the chlorine smell is quite intense, but this is a Lisboa thing nothing the hotel can do about I guess

Breakfast was great - lovely selection of fresh fruit and yoghurt, breads, cheese, hams and fish. Self service espresso machine with hot milk nearby went down very well with us. There was a hot offer but we didn’t try it. The room was large and had a lovely bathroom with a bath and shower over. The TV even had some channels in English!! The all day pastries and drink station was much appreciated. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There were loads of great restaurants nearby and the location was perfect for sightseeing.

The bed, which was lovely and large, was a bit too firm for me, but my partner liked it. Also, the cutlery was rather thin, which wasn’t a problem, just quite amusing! Everything else was excellent.

The front of house staff and doorman were very friendly, always smiling and helpful. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks and treats in the lounge area all day. The breakfast was very nice, fresh and plentiful. The room is very clean. The hotel was very well placed for getting around. We would stay here again.

We were disappointed that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The lighting was not that bright, and when you opened the windows, unfortunately, our view was not the best with a/c units to the left that were blowing out hot air and bins below. If you looked to the right, it was nice, though. This is a City Hotel, so someone had to get the back! The bathroom was a little tired, but appreciated, we stayed in probably a cheaper priced room, not that this should make any difference.

I booked this hotel based on the glowing reviews to celebrate my birthday. First, the parking was excellent and right in front of the hotel, which was lucky for us as spots are limited. The location was excellent as well. It is located right in the heart of everything, so we were surrounded by luxury shops, restaurants, and cafes. In short, walking was easy to get to where you wanted to go. Uber is also readily available and a great way to travel if you don't want to walk or are unable. The warm welcome from Raphael at the door and the staff at reception was a very good sign of what was to come. We had a gorgeous, large and very clean room overlooking the main street. It was not noisy and seemed to be well insulated. The bathroom was big with a separate step in bath and shower and the bonus of a bidet. Molton Brown sets of bath, body, shampoo, conditioner and cream were also provided in the bathroom. We had asked for a kettle and this was already in the room with ample tea and coffee sachets. The Port wine in the room was a nice touch. The mini bar was also free. We only had the water. A little later, a complimentary bottle of bubbly was bought up to the room for my birthday. I think the date may have been noticed on my passport during the check-in process. Port wine, tea, coffee and pastries are provided free for in-house guests to enjoy at any time of the day after breakfast. There is also a library, so do bring some books to leave behind if you have already finished them. I also asked for an iron that was brought up promptly with a clean cover for the ironing board. Breakfast was also good. However, Portugal is well known for delicious sausages and this is the only area where breakfast was let down a little bit. The sausages provided came out of a tin/bottle. In general, we enjoyed our breakfast. We will definitely return.

Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and a great location. The hotel, and my room, was spotlessly clean. I was traveling solo so the room size was perfect, and as I booked. The lobby level has a lovely breakfast area, bar and lounges to spend time. There was a library on the 1st floor, which was perfect for getting some work done. The front desk team were friendly and very helpful, and all the staff I came across during my stay. The location was right in the middle of where you want to be as a tourist - but the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. I'd stay here again.

This has the feel of a boutique hotel, but it also has a pool and is in a fab location. I loved having windows to open (balcony room). Reception staff and breakfast staff were all super friendly and helpful. Having breakfast till 12.00 was great as was the 24hr gym and pool. I also loved having the coffee and little cakes/fruit/port/maderia in the lounge and available all day. It made activities much more flexible and the hotel very relaxing. I will definitely stay here again.

Beds were a bit hard for me but that’s being picky. Be aware the pool is small. You can swim to relax but it’s not a fitness (as in serious swimming)pool. It’s made regret moving to a second hotel (when we changed location)!

This hotel was the perfect place for us to stay with friends and family over our wedding. The staff were unfailingly delightful, couldn't have been more helpful, and gave us all the most amazing sense of welcome and care. We had some elderly relatives who were cared for like family by the staff. The facilities are lovely, the breakfasts delicious, the little swimming pool a welcome place to refresh. Particular thanks to Andrea, and all the other reception staff. You made our wedding weekend very special indeed.

The size and decor of the rooms, the comfortable beds, the tall soundproofed windows overlooking the Avenida. The staff are also really warm and friendly. You won’t be short of great restaurants to walk to! Can definitely recommend.

The ability to make hot drinks in the room would have been great - they offer that in the lounge in the afternoon but it would have been nicer in the room. Also we felt the housekeeping wasn’t quite up to scratch - they left coffee cups we had brought from the lounge (kept meaning to return them) and took away a wet bath towel but didn’t replace it, so I used a small hand towel for my shower.

Excellent boutique hotel. We stayed here for 6 nights. Service - amazing all the staff were helpful and friendly. All requests were dealt with quickly. Rooms - good size, comfortable beds, very clean and quiet. Breakfast - good selection with some hot food, fresh juices and fruit. Small indoor pool and gym - also very clean. Location is great very central. Would recommend this hotel to others!
