The staff is what truly makes this hotel stand out. Excellent service, with kind and attentive people always ready to help and surprise you. The room was clean and cozy, with a soft and comfortable bed. On my birthday, the hotel surprised us with a bottle of wine, cakes, and a complimentary full breakfast — such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay extra special. Unlike big hotels, here you feel that people care about your stay.

The only thing I would mention is the bathroom: it was good overall, but because of the glass wall, turning on the light at night could wake up the other person in the room.

This small hotel is located practically on the Avenida Liberdade, where the fanciest shops are. Most of the other hotels on that street are 5* or more, so if you want to be in this area, Room Select Liberdade is a very cost-effective option. Rooms vary in size, but it is more than adequate.

There is not much to dislike. The bathroom, WC and shower are cubicles within the room, so they take up less space, but for the money it's fine.

Lovely decor, I specifically liked the duvet cover and the wicker lamp shades and the wicker chair in the room. Great idea with 1 European square and English long pillow. Very close to Lisbon Oriente station. Team very polite and pleasant. Nice touch of the constant fresh water and pastel de nata in the reception.

The only thing I would say is that one morning when we went for breakfast after 9 am there was no eggs. We asked if someone could go to a shop and buy some and we were told that we can go ask reception. I thought it wasn’t our duty to ask reception for it but the kitchen staff. The eggs were a big part of the breakfast so then it was with mixed feelings to pay 10 euros for cold breakfast. Understand that after Easter delivery could take longer, sometimes there is easy ideas to fix it temporarily.

Had such a warm welcome at check-in - super friendly team, which set the tone right away. I had a side-street-facing window that opened partially, and it really gave me that feeling of living in Lisbon, not just visiting. Perfectly situated for exploring the city - and if you're in town for the June festival? You’re in luck. A lively street party was just up the block. If you’re not into that kind of thing… maybe rethink coming to Lisbon in June at all 😉

The room was spotless and cozy, with a layout that felt a bit tight around the bathroom, but honestly, I think each room is a little different based on the building’s charm and quirks. Only small drawbacks were the shower drainage - it stayed a bit too stagnant - and the fact that they only provided one towel (I know I’m solo, but still, a backup towel is always nice).

I stayed at the hotel for a total of 3 nights. The hotel is super clean and well-organized. It’s close to all the important spots, within walking distance. The hotel is located on a quiet side street, peaceful throughout the day. The hotel staff is a group of young, kind, and helpful women who assist with anything you need. Breakfast was good, and there’s a coffee machine and water available to guests all day at no extra charge. On my second night, my plans changed and I needed to extend my stay on short notice. I requested to stay one more night and was moved to another room, which was also excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for both short and long stays.

Great place to stay, everything is really close (on foot or with public transport). Very nice and pretty, small hotel. Clean room everyday, good bed, and good A/C. very friendly staff, with good advices and big smiles. We could leave the bags on the last day after check out before we had to go to the airport.

There is no wardrobe, very little possibility to put your things on. So it looks awful when you live out of a suitcase, the room doesn't look so nice anymore when you try to get comfortable. the room is big enough to have at least one smaller cabinet in the corner.

The first day I stepped into the place, I met 2 staffs; Ana and Ines, they were super nice and friendly to me. Since I’m a lady traveling alone, I felt so warm like they were my friends. Ana gave me suggestions and a lot of places. She’s very helpful and supportive. The young man staff at the night shift was very helpful as well, he guided me about taking a day trip to Porto by bus and that was amazing. The place itself was super nice. Just the look of the building from the outside had my heart. Beautiful decoration with clean and minimal structure. I loved it so much. I felt like home and I never wanted to leave. The location is very good. About 15-minute walk to the Praça do Comercio. Shops and restaurants are around. I would for sure stay there again if I ever visit Lisbon once again. Highly recommended!

Not that I don’t like, I just wish the door to the balcony could have been opened but I understand it was the policy and the rules for safety which is fine.

Thanks to their helpful recommendations, I had the opportunity to explore Sintra with one of the best local tour operators, which was an unforgettable experience. They made sure I had all the information I needed, making me feel well taken care of. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Lisbon with a variety of top-notch restaurants and luxury fashion brands nearby. The Avenida metro station is just a 1-minute walk away, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. The room, while on the smaller side, was cozy and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The pillow options and blanket were just right for the weather, ensuring I had a restful night’s sleep. I especially loved the 24-hour complimentary coffee available in the basement, which was a great touch and a perfect pick-me-up during my time there. If I could offer one suggestion for improvement, it would be to add a mini-fridge, a safe, and perhaps a few more toiletries in the room. These little additions would elevate the experience even further and make the hotel a truly complete package. Great staff, comfortable room. Two minor issues resolved immediately - a faulty coffee maker and an issue with a blind. Staff were friendly and informative. Coffee and tea pods refreshed daily. Perfect location, walkable to everywhere central but in a calm location. Room was larger than I expected. Mini pastel de natas at reception on Friday was a nice treat.

Bathroom was an odd shape and the toilet would not have been suitable for anyone very large. My shoulder was wedged into the sink. A small fridge would be a welcome addition for cold drinks
