All staff were very attentive and helpful, with some going out of their way to be informative. Great breakfast selection and great location. Central but quiet. Note that there is no onsite restaurant, so you need to eat out or order from their room service partners which I did for one nigjt, but quite expensive compared to eating nearby.

The plastic mattress protector on the bed. Removed it after the first sleepless night. Bed was very comfortable thereafter.

I did not want my sheets and towels changing for a 2 night stay. Hotels should give you the choice. Its very irresponsible of the Turim chain to change beds every day! No one does it at home and they should stop this practice which is So bad for the environment, immediately .

The location is good to walk to many places. The girl working on reception on Oct 5 afternoon was very helpful and patient to show me how to go to the 6 places I wanted. Appreciate of her help!

The facility in the room is quite old, and there is no gym facility. The cleaner didn’t change the bed sheet for 4 days when I stayed there(the weird thing is, there was no choice for me to choose NOT to change the sheet, how come the cleaner decided it for me??)and the free bottle water was not provided on the 3rd and 4th night even I called reception to request it on the 2nd night.

The room was beautiful, bathroom facilities excellent - hot powerful shower, bed was huge and pillows soft, mattress was a little hard so found uncomfortable sleeping on my side. The room was cleaned near daily and was spotless each time, teas/coffees replenished and stock checked. Main foyer and bar area was modern, clean and well presented. All staff were friendly, professional, smartly dressed and really showcased the feel of extra luxury with this hotel.

Bed was a little hard for my liking. Air conditioning in room not very effective, we were okay on the whole because came in Spring, but I can imagine would get uncomfortably hot in summer months.

Some of the staff was not enough trained to provide information except you as a foreing requested. I do recommend to publish some events as train strikes on the front desk or elevators. We also stayed during the recent episode of the "apagamento" and no even candles were provided to guests. Unbelievable that a 4 stars hotel does not have electronic equipment for emergencies..ypu should buy one.

The staff were so nice and helpful. It’s a good central location in Baxia (lower) Lisbon.

It could be quite loud at night. The AC doesn’t work fully since my stay was in winter, but it was too warm to keep the window shut. This meant that I got a lot of street noise all night and didn’t sleep too well. The only quiet time was between 3am and 4am before and after that you could have all walks of life happening from sirens to construction to just people yelling. It was expected in the city. But I have stayed at several other places next door (one around the corner and one 2 buildings over past rua madelena ) in previous years and didn’t experience the noise as much as on this street.

The perfect location, very central yet quiet. The friendly and professional staff. The cleanliness overall. The comfortable bed. The thoughtful gesture from the hotel to my husband and I for our honeymoon (we went back to the hotel on the day we checked in and found a very nice surprise: some cupcakes, fruits, snd a bottle of vin mousseux/champagne, with a sweet letter from the hotel congratulating us on our wedding).

The room is a bit tight/small, i wish it were a bit more spacious. The shower would switch to the upper faucet whenever we turn the water back on.

Staff were extremely helpful at check in and helping figure out how to get to different excursions I had booked. I informed the staff at the front desk about the wonderful restaurant across the street called UMA, so they could share the information with other guests. I think all front end staff should get a free meal at a close by restaurant so they can provide their opinion /suggestions of where a guest might prefer to eat.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Housekeeping were very accommodating in servicing our room late in the day. Bar staff were excellent, they provided a professional yet friendly service. Bed comfortable.

Our room was on the 5th floor and never seemed cool enough even with the air conditioning on full. The layout of the room was strange. Open hanging space with no drawers made our room look very cluttered and untidy, even though we are exceptionally tidy people. The glass bathroom meant no privacy at all. As a couple we are very open, but we would still like to keep some things to ourselves 😮

Although the loss of water in the area was not the fault of the hotel- the staff could have been more proactive when I arrived back from the beach knowing the water was off. Instead there was a line of us coming back down the lift to ask reception what was happening. In future a sign walking back into the hotel, stating “water off. Estimated return time 8pm. Apologies for inconvenience” would have been better communication.
