We had an upstairs studio, it was great. Good space, everything you’d expect in a motor lodge. Bed was comfortable and the room was cosy and warm without the use of a heater. GREAT SHOWER PRESSURE!

I (personally) had a little trouble getting the tv to work properly, as in activating the SKY channels, my wife got me sorted.

Fantastic location. Have stayed many times at Chancellor Motor Lodge in Palmerston North with work related and personal stays. Always fantastic friendly service by both the owners of the Lodge and the staff. Oh, and I love that you receive fresh milk in a glass bottle on arrival (it's the little things!)

We liked everything about the Chancellor Motor Lodge. We arrived later than the check-in time but were warmly welcomed by the owners. Loved that it was within walking distance of the city center. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and despite it being on the main road it was quiet. The staff were slso very friendly and attentive, we will definitely be back.

We had a room that accommodated the "lads trip" very well - ton's of space, 1x double bed, 3 x single beds, very quiet even though we were near the road, bathroom a very good size and service was very good. Location was very good - only a 10min walk to the square

The single beds weren't to my liking but that is a personal thing

staff were nice and friendly, room was exactly what we were looking for. the beds were super comfy and everyone had a great sleep. location was really close to city centre and the supermarket was just around the corner. they recommended a great place for breakfast.

Great location, have stayed at this facility before and thoroughly enjoyed it so we hose to stay again. Being located within easy walking distance of the central city makes it easy to get around to the restaurants and shopping as you like.

Nothing to dislike

Our 2-bedroom apartment was huge & had everything we could have hoped & asked for, including a private yard & patio. Within easy walking distance of shops & restaurants. Special thanks to manager Karen who went out of her way to track us down & return a piece of jewelry that housekeeping found after we checked out.

Lovely helpful staff. Really nice big room with good size bathroom and kitchen area. Nice a quiet even though close to a main road. Walking distance to shops and great food.

Could do with some net curtains. Otherwise pretty fantastic

We booked 2 x studios with spas. Loved our rooms. The beds were comfortable with plenty of spare beddings if needed. Rooms had all the necessities we needed for a few days away from home. We arrived later than the check-in time, and the staff were so wonderful and understanding ❤️

Excellent place for an overnight business trip. The bathroom is very clean. The room is clean. The spa didn't work but you could still soak for a bath which was great. Water pressure excellent. I would recommend this place for business travellers.
