the staff was kind the bedding was clean. The location is perfect. 30 minute walk to the colosseum and 30 minute walk to the Trevi fountain. Hotel transfer service was quick and efficient. I would recommend getting a Taxi back to the airport though because the taxi is only 31euros for a taxi vs 60euros for transfer service. There is a lot of cool shops near by and the Spanish steps are less than 10 minutes walking.

The included breakfast is at another location down the street. BUT, you can get it delivered to your room no extra charge so this is good. The bathroom was a bit old and the shower had black mildew on the top. The jacuzzi tub didn’t work but we didn’t need it anyway. The AC is pretty weak and honestly didn’t really cool the room down. Don’t expect a FRIGID ac like in American hotels!

The location of the property is fantastic , near the Spanish steps and via del Corso shopping street , not so far from Trevi fountain and most of Rome’s sites are within 30-40 min walking distance. We really liked the hotel and room , decorated in classic Roman style , it’s well maintained and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, giving us all necessary information , responding immediately to our requests , being polite and welcoming. Overall , we had a wonderful at Residenza Canova Tadolini Guesthouse and would surely recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

This place was amazing! I read other reviews and cannot believe people were so harsh — this place has character and in a prime location! We had the beautiful red room and were so happy! It was so spacious & had such a cool design that we loved! It was raining in Rome and we had the perfect time staying indoors watching movies! Our room was cozy & comfortable. Bathroom is older but so what.. plus they deliver your breakfast to your room! It was a magical stay and would definitely stay here again!

Nothing — this place is great!

The location is pretty hard to beat -- you're on a beautiful street, near the Corso and a 30 minute walk to the Capitoline hill. Spanish Steps and Trevi are nearby. The decor is very classy, bedding posh, and the bathroom was big and with beautiful tile.

There is only reception between 8 and 6, that is the primary disadvantage. The staff made it easy to check in after hours but on my third night, the front door wasn't working and I had to call the other hotel to get into my room (with a code). The shower had only hot water one day and it was really hot, so hard to get clean.

Everything was more than perfect . Average syaity and price is very … we were really surprised with the hotel location because it was just perfect t … short walking distance to main places whether it is shopping or touristic places to visit . The staff are very welcoming and friendly … always suggesting nice ideas and proposing solutions when needed .. thanks to all the staff and thank you Barbara at the reception for helping us with the car booking to the airport transfer Highly recommend

Quaintly decorated. Quiet. Very well positioned right in the heart of Rome. Very nice range of breakfast if prepared to walk to sister hotel. A touch of claustrophobia though.

Coffee maker in room out of order. Drawer front came right off when pulled out. TV remote cover fell off. TV reception seemed stuck in one channel. Continuous noise from fridge and air conditioning outside window.

Location location location and definitely the hospitable staff. Spanish Steps was just a 3-4 minute walk. The location seemed pretty safe too. The front desk manager was really sweet and helpful. We were welcomed with coffee and cakes which is always available at the reception and special arrangements were also made in the room which made us very happy. The decor is pretty nice too. Will definitely consider to stay here again, when in Rome next.

Rooms are small. Just felt congested with our 2 large and 2 small luggages. Otherwise, no other issue.

At breakfast, there was a large selection of different products. The staff was responsive and responsible, there was no problem that could not be solved. The extra snacks and coffee in the room made it nice to start the day and return there every day.

On the bed there was a duvet and then two sheets around it, but then they easily come apart. I am not used to such comforter covers, I often found myself in a direct contact with the duvet.

We loved everything about this place, the brekfast was amazing, fresh and abundant, the staff very helpful and friendly; the location is perfect, we could walk or take the metro everywhere. The room was clean at all times, the staff cleaned the room daily which after the long walks was very refreshing, to not come back to our messy rooms :) I absolutely recommend this place.

The location was excellent for our short stay. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. You should not be concerned about safety. The big exterior door has a lock. The apartment door has enough locks I felt like Maxwell Smart.

I arranged through the hotel for a car to pick us up at the airport and drive us to the apartment. This backfired, as the apartment was not yet vacant. So we had to drag our luggage several blocks to the office to store our luggage until the apartment was ready. This was completely avoidable. The manager should have directed the driver to take us to their office instead of to the apartment. There is a women's clothing store on the first floor that plays highly repetitive trendy music during its open hours, which stretch well into the evening. Soundproof the apartment is not.
