What I didn't like was the remote entry. No one at the reception desk. They sent me a text, they said. I don't do texts's. When I got there I phoned the number to call. In Emergency it said. A lady called me right back saying read your text! follow the instructions. I said I cant read it. Ahh she said. See the microwave in the entry way? Next to that is a rack with your name on an envelope and Key inside. O K,\. what room number am I . Number 6. Back to the other end again. Anyway, nice room. Plenty heat. Kettle, toaster and fridge. View of the bay. Free car parking.

This was a great stop-off for us on our trip along The Great Ocean Road. Room was clean and spacious, and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was modern and fresh, and once you give time for the hot water to come through (as advised), the shower was great. Aircon did its job. Late check-in was straightforward with instructions on how to pick-up our key after-hours. Location is perfect, close to good bakery/cafes, supermarket, and pub (we didn't try the local restaurants for food). Lovely beach literally across the road for a morning/evening stroll.

Very close to the beach, lots of restaurants nearby, right on the foreshore, very clean and well maintained and equipped with all the necessary amenities one can imagine. We checked in when the reception was closed but we got our keys in an envelope with our room number on it and got the room ready for us to check in! And if you need any assistance or room service, they have their phone number in their rooms for assistance 24/7. All in all, with the location, the budget and the amenities it’s a 10/10! Lovely experience for our stay!

Beautiful location, so close to the beach, literally a 5 min walk, honestly had the most amazing weekend with my boyfriend. Would definitely come here again.

the windows were very thin, and it was really windy so we could hear the wind a lot which was a bit annoying.

Cute little motel situated above the Chinese Restaurant in the main street of Apollo Bay. Nice, spacious car park at the back of the motel which was easily accessible and a little laneway to access the main street. Everything was in walking distance from our motel. We checked in after hours, but were given very clear information on how to access our room prior to our arrival. The room and bathroom were both clean and recently refurbished. Bed was also comfortable and warm (for a winters weekend away). Would definitely stay here again

Only thing we didn't like was the fact that the street lights were right outside our window (room with ocean view), which brought in a lot of light during the night, through the crack of the blinds. For someone who is a light sleeper and is sensitive to the light it did make for a little bit of a restless nights sleep, but apart from that, it was a great little room for what we needed over the weekend.

Absolutely loved this stay, all self checkin which is great, directions to the accommodation was brilliant. They have recently renovated so everything was brand new. The bed was so incredibly comfortable, we probably had the best sleep while staying here and the pillows are next level we purchased the exact same ones when we got home. The accommodation is also in the perfect location too all the shops and beach!! I will definitely be coming back this this place

The breakfast offering was truly excellent and provided great value for the money. The room was equipped with all the necessities, and we truly appreciated the eco-friendly and sustainable selection of toiletries and cleaning products. The overall cleanliness and comfort were exceptional. The bed, in particular, provided an excellent night's rest. The motel's location was ideal, allowing us to be in proximity to the beach and shops while enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. Without a doubt, it was the perfect choice for an overnight stop during our Great Ocean Road journey.

Excellent location opposite the beach. Comfy bed, spacious room. Quiet and clean.

Perhaps update the signage at the entrances as they are at the rear of the Chinese restaurant and they are a little daggy, especially the handwritten one. It's not a great way to welcome people. Once I got inside it was all fine.

Great location, could walk to several restaurants and the IGA. Very friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Beach across the road. Loved the new furniture, embroided linen, inbuilt mirror lighting and USB port in the bedside lamp. Amazing shower.

Hard to find Reception but renovations are probably the reason.

The unit is on the small side but it has everything you need. The bed was comfortable, the unit was clean, check in was simple and parking is right out back. The location was awesome and easy to get to from the Main Street. 100% recommend this spot.

On the smaller side, so if you are planning to stay more than 5 days I’d suggest somewhere else.
