Too many steps to get to the location

The pool with swim-up bar was the main standout of this hotel. Probably the largest infinity pool on the caldera cliff. Cocktails were delicious as was the food at the restaurant. A-la-carte breakfast was included and brought to your own private balcony at no extra charge if you wish, including mimosas. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable including meeting you at the airport or at your taxi and carry your luggage to the hotel as it is a few minutes walk down winding steps. They also gave us a complimentary transfer to our next hotel nearby. The view is breathtaking. I'm pretty sure all the rooms have insane ocean views but we also got upgraded to a honeymoon suite with our own hot tub on the balcony around 30 degrees celcius and a second huge indoor hot tub kept at 35 degrees celcuis they say, but was more like 40 degrees, amazing to swtich between the hot and the cooler tubs back and forth. The room was stunning with high ceilings. I hope we will be back again soon!

It is a beautiful property with an excellent unobstructed view if the caldera. Watch that gorgeous sunset from your own balcony, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff is amazing. Thank you Kaylee and team!

There are few if any shady areas in the property, making it difficult to spend most or all of the day on property without getting a sunburn. Fira is a short walk (5-10 min) but is a steep climb and there is nothing (dining or shopping etc) just outside the hotel. Suggest the staff consider creating a more varied playlist for guests spending a day at tee pool as their current playlist gets monotonous.

The location was perfect alongside the beautiful views. We had a private suite with a heated pool which was very ideal as the weather wasn't too warm when we visited. The staff are friendly and professional! Communication was easy and they went above and beyond in obtaining items we needed. They were also very accommodating when it came to breakfast. We had a lot of late nights from watching sports matches and needed to sleep-in the next day. The staff were able to provide a complimentary brunch option instead which was highly appreciated and also made our stay extra enjoyable.

Loved everything - only one comment regarding the bed could be a little firmer.

very well located property, best sunset view right out of your room. very good staff. make sure you select their room with private pool, don’t book their room with loft, its very small. you may not like that room if you are claustrophobic, other than that this property is spot on and checks every mark on quality and conforming. Very good chef and fantastic food.

IF YOU NEED TO GO OUT FOR RESTAURANTS, BE READY TO WALK ON UP AND DOWN HILL WITH THUMPING HEARTBEATS :D, BUT IT WORTH THE VIEW…

The room (Suite 1) is amazing! The online pictures are nice but could not reflect how truly amazing of a suite it is when you see it in person. From a statue of Athena in the living room to the private bedrooms appointed with linens from Guy Laroche, such a beautifully decorated suite. Even more amazing is the view from the private patios. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking! What made our visit even more wonderful is the exceptional service from all of the staff at Athina Luxury Suites!

Everything was exceptional!

Incredible view and friendly, responsive staff! Our arranged transfer from the ferry port was significantly delayed, but the hotel comped both that ride and our checkout ride to the airport. The hotel can be reached by WhatsApp 24/7, which proved to be very helpful for requests like breakfast, cleaning the room, and arranging experiences. Food and drinks at the onsite restaurant/bar Esperisma were fantastic as well! This was a great place to stay for a first visit to Santorini.

Pricey given many options available in Fira

The room and location was beautiful as was the entire staff. Looking out from your balcony at the water and volcano was breathtaking. Easily the best view on the island!! Breakfast every morning delivered to your balcony by the best waiters anywhere. i still don’t know how they did it with those stairs. Always delivered with a kind word and big smile. The front desk staff was awesome. The true test of a staff is when you have a problem and how it is resolved, it’s easy when everything goes perfect but when there is a problem that is the true test of customer service. The Athena Suites manager Beatrice came through with flying colors and handled it like a true professional. Everyone at the Athena Suites was happy, friendly,helpful and professional!! Thank you to all of you for all your guidance on our vacation.

We liked everything

From start to finish this stay was sensational. The staff, the room, the pool, the food everything was perfect. This trip exceeded all my expectations. I can not recommend this place enough. The standard is extremely high and the people are just so kind to all guests. I particularly want to give a shout-out to Kaylee who made the stay unforgettable for me and my partner. She really went the extra mile for us and I cannot thank her enough. We will definitely be back! 🤍

Nothing about this place is less than a 10/10.

Location- beginning of the trail and not too close to the stores. Once you enter the hotel the vibe removes you from the hectic Santorini streets. The chill music, the hotel’s layout and the hospitable staff set the tone. The room is clean and with amenities you might need and not realize. The breakfast in the private terrace allows you to enjoy the scenery in the morning and feel as if no one else is in the hotel.
