The value for money was brilliant. The room had everything we needed and although we didn’t use the bar and live entertainment I was surprised the hotel had it given the price we paid. Staff were excellent and gave our dog a treat on arrival. Bed was super comfy and the location was spot on. Only a short walk right into the town centre.
Maybe the room could have been a little bit cleaner but given this was a dog friendly room I cannot complain.

We LOVED the staff, especially the ones on reception Andrew upgraded us both times we stayed & was more than helpful in regards to everything we needed ! The lady on reception the day after also gave our dogs treats which made their morning. The views were stunning !! Perfect location Very quiet considering on a main road Clean beds ! And bedding Comfortable firm beds They accepted dogs & not at extreme add on prices
Carpet in the rooms were green of all colours, the hotel was a little dark and dingy (not the rooms) The decor throughout if I’m honest could have done with a redo The showers were all very small The bathroom suit was green The kettle had limescale

Sea view, price, facilities, helpful staff who seem happy in their jobs, space, staff didn't seem bothered with us bringing takeaway etc back, changing freezer blocks etc, extra parking time on last day after checkout was helpful, close to centre. Would definitely come back.
Windows were a little dirty inside and out, had to close at night due to noisy road, however ear plugs would help but room felt cool and comfortable even in heat wave. Hotel is a little tired but suitably okay and clean otherwise. Would be good to introduce recycling bins for customers to utilise I brought all mine home and sorted. Access to some kitchen equipment with strict rules would help stay be more comfortable, like youth hostel style perhaps or camping. Freezer, fridge, chopping boards, knife, cold options safer without introducing microwave and fire risk, sink and plate, bowl cutlery. Strict rules on tidying up after.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The sea view room was nice and had a lovely view. It is very convenient for both town and the beaches. Would definitely stay here again.
The lift was very small and old. There was seagull poop all over the outside of the low front roof which was right next to our window I guess that can't be helped as it is a costal town. Baby seagulls had a nest just outside our window and were very noisy I'm guessing that can't be helped either .... We made the most of it and stuck some googly eyes to the inside of the window and managed to get mummy seagull in line perfectly. Would still stay again.

Everything. The view right on beach front, with the sea in front of you is priceless!!! I had specifically asked for the highest floor and the best view, and they were able to offer it to me. The typical bay window is just fabulous. The room was very clean, and the complimentary coffee and tea with the water boiler were a good plus. Falling asleep with the sound of the sea is unique!!! Also, despite the hotel has no breakfast, there's another hotel literally few steps by with an unreal breakfast. Bonus point: the staff was extremely kind and friendly!!!
Just some idiots making noise at night, but not the hotel's fault.

It was so close to the town, within 10 minutes walking distance. The room was very clean, tidy, and finished to a great standard. The staff were fantastic especially the man on our first night - when we arrived the room was very hot and he gave us two fans and some extra pillows which made our whole stay so much better.
Parking - didn’t know we could try and reserve a spot but we now know for future. (Car parks are all within 10 minutes and never had an issue finding a space) A lamp in the room would be great but not essential.

Sea view, in town centre everything few mints walk away. We stayed 3 nights lots of places to hang out. Can reach all beaches across Cornwall
Stayed 3 nights left key for service but just left towels and toilet paper no one took the rubbish out. All room was smelly have to take rubbish out our self. No food available should have some wending machine for drinks and snacks. Need clear directions for lift for first time visitors hard to find the lift it’s inside I have to carry all luggage by stairs we found lift 2nd day.

the staff were super friendly and helpful. This is a no frills hotel, yes it could do with a lick of paint on the outside, that said it is extremely great value for the price. I had a beautiful room with a seaview overlooking Tolcarne beach. the room was super clean and the bed very comfortable. very quiet through the night a little noise from outside traffic but to be expected.
the hotel just looks a little run down from the outside nothing a coat of paint and some flowers couldn't fix

Very convenient, room was spacious, hot showers and heating that was great for wet towels after getting back from the surf lessons and the ladies at the reception Marissa and Caroline were just the best ( genuinely nice people, very welcoming, very helpful, they checked out the bus timetable for us to head back to the airport, recommended where we can go and eat, they were just lovely, always saying Hi with a smile when entering the hotel and they have always wished us a good day and also asked us how our day was ) I would definitely go back and recommend to others especially for the service we received that made our stay in Newquay just GREAT. The gentleman that was at the reception at night who we only got to see once was friendly too and very polite.
We were happy with everything.

We stopped here for one night before going to our apartment in Newquay. The lovely gentleman at reception upgraded us to a room with a sea view which was amazing (I wish I could have remembered his name) thank you for this. It made our day after a long journey! There was some noise outside our room at night but this was not the staff's fault - it sounded like some kind of domestic. We heard security very promptly and then the noise was gone. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We will return! Thank you
