Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. Very good continental breakfast and friendly staff.

I upgraded my double to a triple room solely to get an ensuite bathroom however on arrival was given a double with no bathroom. After complaining was transferred to another double with a good view over the canal but still no ensuite and was told the bathroom down the corridor was private to us as no one else would be using it ! Spotlessly cleaned throughout the day but we weren't geared up for padding down the corridor ! Still not sure why I couldn't have the room I booked ?

everything!!! seriously magical one of a kind place. Loved the old furniture and old building, but also having air con and modern bathrooms! The staff were lovely, the view was stunning, the location perfect, bed comfy, literally all of it was perfect! and such a reasonable price too- I stayed in the economy room with a shared bathroom, but I never saw another person in it. it was more like I was staying in someone’s guest bedroom and using their guest bathroom than an actual hotel! Thank you so much for such a lovely stay and I’m recommending this place to everyone, and if I’m ever back in venice I’ll be coming straight back here!

I stayed here on the 20th-22nd of September 2025. . I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again. It really fits the Venice vibes. It's reasonably priced compared to other places I've stayed in in Italy, and breakfast was included in the price. It's not far from Venice train station. There's a few nice restaurants and shops nearby. Lovely gift in the town too. Very nice and helpful staff, especially the day manager, on the reception desk. I can't remember his name. He gave me some tips on where to go and where to eat. (All the staff were exceptionally nice and welcoming) The room was small, but it was adequate for my stay. The bed was comfortable, and there was daily housekeeping. Which is fantastic. Shared bathrooms and toilets that are spotless and well maintained. Toiletries and towels are also provided. The breakfast room was busy and there was great service from hotel staff. There was a selection of meats, cheeses, and cereals for breakfast. Tea and coffee on request.

I just love the Truly Italian Breakfast. Jack is a wonderful host and offered me Turkey Chicken in breakfast (as I don't eat pork). Location is outstanding and you can explore Venice numerous places very easily from her. Staff are really very supportive and helped me to explore the attraction. I had my Life memorable experience and the stay is one of them at this beautiful hotel. Thanks Pensione Segusu and Booking.com. you guys are rockstars and really doing a good job in making our life long experience memorable 😊😊😊

It could be better if you provide Complementary drink Like soft drink, water etc

We absolutely loved staying at Pensione Seguso. The hotel is beautiful, with a really Venetian feel. The room was spacious and comfortable with a breathtaking view of the canal. Each member of staff was so helpful and welcoming we felt really comfortable and at home. The location is perfect - about a 20 minute walk to St Mark's which we enjoyed and the area around the hotel was also lovely. We would highly, highly recommend this place.

There is nothing that we didn't like.

The location was excellent—just a short walk from the Accademia water bus stop, making it easy to get around, including to the railway station. The staff were wonderful—especially Luca, who was incredibly helpful. Thanks to his guidance, I managed to explore Venice in just one day. Finally, my room had two windows overlooking the canal, which made the experience magical. I slept with one window open and woke up to the sound of boats in the morning.

The bathroom door creaked every time it was opened or closed.

The location was amazing for starters - right by the Zatarre waterbus stations and walking distance from so many great restaurants, cafes, gelaterias and bars in Dorsoduro. The view of the canals from the side room balconies was absolutely stunning both day and night - great for just taking in the sights and people watching. Service was very friendly and helpful, and all facilities were great, especially all the mirrors, the shower, and the comfy bed! Truly a special stay.

We were very pleased with our stay here. Very short walk from Zatterre ferry station. Super nice staff at check-in and during our stay. We had a room that opened onto a side canal and had a view to the southern main canal that was very nice. Hotel had an old world feel, but with plenty of modern day comforts. Dorsoduro district was a good calm area and away from the higher traffic tourist areas, but still within walking distance to everything.

The historic preservation was lovely. It is nice to see a place with a sense of personality, place and one that has welcomed so many generations. We were recommended by a good friend and architect and then were later told that another architect friend of my in-laws also visited back in 1972. A wonderful experience. Plus the location was amazing- a vaporetto stop just a few feet away is invaluable and because it’s right off a canal we were able to pull up via private water taxi so easily!

Charming retro interior, a real pensione of the kind that used to be prevalent in Europe, with shared bathrooms and dining room, truly friendly, charming and hospitable. I loved it, staying somewhere so traditional made my Venice experience so much better than if I'd stayed in a modern touristy place.

The showers were creaky and old, dribbled rather than sprayed, and wobbled around, but this sort of added to the charm!
