We loved the theme of this hotel - we enjoyed our breakfast it was plentiful - the staff were extremely pleasant & helpful - we had a very nice room with a comfortable bed… & there are plans to refurbish this property… with this in mind & once completed we would stay at Malmaison again.
We found the floor of our room noisy & sadly the room was too dark… this is noticed throughout the property & is part of the ambient feel that reflects the style that they were aiming for… However the dining room was far too dark, Our Dinner was okay but not worth the price paid… Once again the staff were amazing especially at reception - finally there was no parking close to the hotel.

The hotel was lovely with excellent bar, restaurant. Food was good. Staff were all truly lovely and helpful. The room was really nice. Location rather lovely. Handy for walking to various places across the city.
It was hot and sunny in Glasgow during my stay (no offence Glaswegians), but this was unusual!!! So the room was hot and impossible to cool down. This meant I just couldn’t sleep. I’ve had this in all the uk hotels I stayed in this trip. A lighter summer duvet or just counterpane, a fan, and the potential to open windows more than a crack would really help as the climate heats up.

The staff were amazing. My father passed away the last night and they allowed us a late check out with no extra charge. It meant alot to me. They were extremely accommodating throughout and gave us directions to great local eateries and made us feel extremely welcome. Also my room was ready early so the early check in was a great surprise too. Also amenities were brilliant, I especially loved the cucumber and water decanter in the lobby. It was great for hydrating before bed.
It's abit hilly so be prepared for walking though local taxis to and from the city to the hotel averaged at 9-10 pound each trip. Worth it at night time, just wear walking shoes during the day. A nice way to get to know the locality all the same! The Tesco's nearby is very limited stock too so stock up in the centre if possible beforehand.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was lovely with everything we needed for a comfortable nights stay. Even had a fan in there to keep the room cool in the evening. The Hotel itself is lovely and central with only a 10 min walk to central station. The best night sleep I've had in a while, the beds were very comfortable and we had extra pillows in case we needed them. Email communication before our visit so I could set up a few treats for my daughter was brilliant and prompt. Will be returning very soon. Thank you so much
Not much as far as a view goes however I we weren't there for the views from the hotel and it is in a city centre so I wasnt expecting much for a view. Apart from that I have nothing negative to say.

The staff was exceptional, especially the two night receptionists who went out of their way to help us out and feel welcome. Everyone was extremely nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Also the interior of the hotel is pretty cool and the bar serves very nice drinks. The breakfast was really good - fine selection of both continental and hot breakfast options. We also loved the location, it was a nice walk to O2, where we had concert tickets and there are two parking lots nearby.
Minor inconvenience: Our room only had a rain shower and low water pressure, and washing your hair in that ain't fun. The lighting in the room was very low / dark in the room.

the staff were so helpful and kind we were staying for a concert and they helped direct us there and back so kind and never made what we were asking seem like too much! i even explained how i wanted earlier check in so i had time to get ready and they made that happen. we stayed in the suite and my god it was gorgeous the room the decor the atmosphere the view everything was just perfect
the only thing i would have changed was that there was a lot of scuffs and scrapes on the furniture and decor in the room i know wear and tear is unavoidable and i honestly was not fussed at all

Firstly I cannot praise the staff enough from Hayden on reception to Carolina in the restaurant as well as all their co-workers. They were all friendly courteous and noticeably very well trained. We (an elderly couple) were upgraded to an amazing and accessible suite which made our anniversary visit even more special. We dined on our first evening there and our Tuna, Steak, Burger, and Creme Brûlée were exceptional. Obviously first class ingredients and very well cooked. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to a return visit.

All I can say is WOW!!! We stayed here for our anniversary and could not have asked for anymore. We received a complimentary upgrade to the suite, which was absolutely stunning! We had rose petals on our bed and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco chilling in an ice bucket for our arrival. The restaurant manager, Martin, was just amazingly accommodating and so lovely. Nothing was any bother and he absolutely went over and above to make our dinner special. Katerina was also incredible and couldn't have been any nicer. She served us with a lovely smile and couldn't have done enough for us. Thank you so much for a wonderful child free evening!
Nothing.

It was a nice clean room with a comfortable bed and good pillows. I was pleased that a fridge was provided, even in a small space. The curtains were of good quality, blocking out light when needed. The decor was attractive and furnishings were high quality. Nice Arran bathroom products were provided.
I really needed a top sheet, as with the lovely weather I’ve experienced in Scotland, the cosy duvets were just too warm. I was worried that I would hear the lift throughout the night being right next to it, but it was not a problem.

The parking is atrocious it kinda ruins the stay as my husband had to go out so many times and in the morning he had to go out again at 7:30 am to deal with parking issues he was having a good sleep and did not want to rise early to sort out the parking and be disturbed when he was cosy in his bed , that was a spoiler it was not conducive with a relaxing over night stay coupled with additional expense or a very expensive parking fine On a good note the front desk manager was extremely helpful and really nice new his job very well exceptionally knowledgeable and a great asset to the Malmaison hotel All the staff were very friendly and polite and attentive.
