I liked the height of the wall mirror. It was well positioned, so that when you sat down at the table you weren’t looking at yourself. There were adequate mirrors (below and above waist height in one of the wardrobe doors). I was allowed late check out and my (bulky) luggage was looked after for me.

This is my second time at Johnstone St. Quest, so I had learned most of the “ropes” like using the fob to work the lift and after hours entry. The instructions about leaving the fridge on, how to work washing machine, hob, microwave etc were brief and succinct, so no complaints.

The location was amazing… in city centre and near lots of amenities (also right next to my favourite restaurant in Wellington!). One of the reasons we chose it was also its proximity to the Bluebridge Ferry Terminal which made it really handy when we were heading off to South Island. It was also very quiet too which was great!

Appliances were a little dated in the unit we were in. Washing machine sounded like a plane engine was running it and dryer didn’t work. We ended to having to use multiple fans to dry cloths on rack (we do appreciate that a cloths rack and fans were provided in room 😊).

Location was perfect for us as we could walk everywhere and it was not far to drop back into apartment for a break. Staff very helpful with a food delivery i had delivered for our day of arrival.

The dryer seemed to take ages as clothes were still quite wet after washing (not spun out enough) but really it was a bonus having your own private washer and drier in the room so we can't really complain. And we could of asked the staff if we were using the system correctly but we didn't, so we were happy enough.

It was a good location for TSB Arena (we were there for WOW). The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and had a nice city view. The kitchen was great and had a washing machine in it (mightve been a washer dryer). It was good for while we were there but just needs some love.

Bigger and better luggage trolleys needed and more than one. Shower could do with a deep clean. Blind in one of the bedrooms didn't go up and that window didn't have a safety lock. Our room wasn't ready until 3pm (check in is from 2pm). The TVs were a bit outdated and the remotes didn't work well. The hairdryer is like a light hot breeze and needs to be replaced with a better one. The carpet could do with a good clean. No dishwasher but there was dishwasher powder...

Great location for walking to waterside, museum and cable car. Lots of places to eat nearby. Also very close to bus stop for Airport Express bus. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend.

Found the tumble dryer was rather slow to get things dry. Not a problem for us as we were staying two nights but worth noting if you're looking for a quick turn around of laundry. Having said that was very useful to have a washer dryer in the apartment

The location is perfect, on the center of the city, near to everything, specially the cable car. The apartment is spacious, very clean, there is everything you need, the furniture are modern, the bed is comfortable, the staff at the reception was really friendly, highly recommend.

We toasted some bread and the maid came to give us some washing machine powder and told us to open the window and be really careful because of the smoke alarm. There was no smoke on the room, just a smell of toasted bread but anyway, she wanted to be nice with us so that’s ok, but on the moment we felt bad.

I got it at a great price so that's influenced my review. Location is great if working on the parliament side of town with immediate access to Lambton Quay for shops and the waterfront including restaurants. Staff at reception were great and made me feel welcome. The room (studio apartment) was small but clean and had what I needed, plus extras including cooktop and washing machine. The bed was comfy and the shower water pressure good. The vending machine was great to avoid the metro supermarket for an evening sugar fix! 😂

There were no deal breakers here for me. The decor and layout is a bit older if that bothers you, but all in great condition in my room. If considering it, keep in mind it's not a hotel so you don't have 24hr reception/staff etc. If I'd paid nearer the $200/night I think I'd feel I could have had a little more luxury if I just needed a hotel room and didn't need the actual apartment extras.

My favourite place to stay when I visit Wellington. Such a perfect position, buzzing during the day and quiet at night. My apartment was a good size, with everything I needed and a comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and happy to look after my bag for me after check out, while I did a few things in town. This Quest is just a short walk from the railway station, or if you want to go further afield, or to the airport, there's a bus stop just around the corner. The cable car is also less than a 5 min walk if you want to visit the botanic gardens, or, walk 5 mins in the other direction to the waterfront. At the end of the street there's a nice little park with a good cafe. There's also a supermarket very close by. Perfect.

We arrived late in the day and the off-hours staff assisted us with the check-in process via instructions sent through Booking.com and e-mail as well as an intercom system that connected us to the off-hours staff. No problem getting in. The apartment - which is more studio-like - was clean and comfortable. We had a kitchenette and were able to reheat and cook food for dinner. It was just what we needed for one night. We chose this property because, it is a 10-minute walk to the ferry terminal where we needed to be early in the morning to take the ferry to Picton. Although it was not why we selected the location, the area did have restaurants and shops. The wharf looked fun, but we didn't go out. I forgot to take photos, but the apartment was very nice.
