Beautiful hotel , light and bright , modern and clean and really big.. Beds were so comfortable. Well equipped kitchen with modern appliances and fridge and freezer Modern bathroom with power shower. Excellent location right next to the Rubicon Marina. Lovely promenade stretching for miles. Some lovely eateries around and about and short distance either walking or taxi (4euros) to Old Town and Dorado beach.Our room was 126 with lovely pool view.

There was nothing to dislike . I think the hotel might benefit the bar to be open longer for an early evening drink or nightcap.....and maybe a little background music around the pool during the day.

Lovely sized apartments, great pool which whilst was busy was never over crowded.

The lack of courtesy room after checking out. we fad a later flight and We were told to change in the toilets in reception and not offered the facility to shower.

Check in and check out were easy and quick, informative reception people. The apartment was excellent. Very spacious, fully equipped (and everything worked). New towels every day or so, nice pool, air conditioning, great beds. Really good shower. Powerful WiFi, worked everywhere in the hotel and grounds. The balcony was good, sun all day. Staff at the hotel were efficient and polite but also unobtrusive. Good for local shops, restaurants etc, close to bus for Playa Blanca town, but also within walking distance (20 minutes gentle amble along the sea front), 30 second walk to the marina.

There was nothing I didn't like, really good aparthotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Very modern, clean, spacious and comfortable apartments in an attractive setting. The pool & sunbathing area was immaculately maintained, with a large pool and plenty of sun loungers & parasols. It was also very tranquil and relaxing, and a delight not to be pummelled by the usual barrage of music! Location was also great - just a short hop across to Rubicon marina, and a gentle 15 min walk to the excellent Playa Dorada beach and 25 mins to the many bars & restaurants on Playa Blanca waterfront.

Nothing negative to mention. For some people, the lack of a bar & restaurant after 17.00 might be a negative, but wasn’t an issue for us, in view of the many nearby establishments at the marina. There was also the option of stocking up from the nearby supermarket and enjoying eating on drinking on the lovely balcony.

Friendly and clean. Lunch at the snack bar is very good. The beds were comfortable. Great location. Decent value for money. Always a sunbed to be had. The pool is good but not heated.

Balcony doors did not lock. Could only shut with the hook latch fitted by the hotel to the frame. Not very secure. Very basic. The sofa bed frame was bent and not the best quality. Ideal for a base to explore.

The location is perfect, in the Marina Rubicon, by far the nicest spot we visited on the island in terms of resorts. A “nicer” clientele frequents this part of Playa Blanca, slightly less tattoos and vapes in evidence than in many other resorts on the island (you may of course adore tattoos and vapes but I don’t). The location is perfect, the marina is so pretty and the restaurants are all lined up on the water’s edge, so you can sit on the deck and admire the yachts in the sparkling turquoise water. The hotel is spotless, the pool is perfect, big and round so you can get a workout, never crowded (in late November), sunbeds for everyone, pool guy is a dote, hotel receptionists are fine but Gual is a gem, loads of room in the mini apartments - we got work done and we didn’t crowd each other at all - everything brilliant. Oh and the shops and restaurants are five minutes walk from your bedroom, if that.

They wanted a euro to use the luggage weighing scales in the lobby - I thought that was a bit mean!

After many years of staying at THB Tropical Island, they couldn't accommodate 4 of us in one apartment this year, so we looked further afield. We were wowed from a friendly welcome at check-in (Gaul), to the standard of accommodation and its location. The kitchenette is really well provisioned, with a freezer too, which is a novelty for us! We didn't stay around the pool as we love Playa Dorada beach, enjoying the scenic walk along the coast path (past the immense new Barcelo hotel and its stinky drains), Playa Blanca restaurants and the marina. We were impressed with being supplied with pool towels (which we held off changing more than once to save water etc) as this really made a difference to our packing. We were also allowed clean towels for showering post check-out but before our return flight. It didn't bother us that there wasn't any entertainment or an evening bar as we head out anyway, and this makes for a very peaceful hotel. From our balcony we could hear the music from Oasis in the Marina (which doesn't go on late), and enjoy drinks from the nearby Hiperdino, which suited us. Can't comment about the breakfast as we didn't pay for this option. We won't need to go back to THB Tropical Island now as we are impressed all round with the Cordial and its staff.

The situation of the hotel was fantastic! There is a private gate into the marina where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops, the hotel is literally a 3 minute walk into the marina with all the hustle and bustle but you would never believe it as the hotel is so peaceful, there are plenty of sun-beds no getting up early to get a bed, the pool is lovely, the snack bar closes at 5 every day. There is a lovely sandy beach a 10 minute walk away with plenty of beds and umbrellas and a row of lovely shops and restaurants on the way which have only been open since March. We had an apartment which had a big fridge freezer and electric hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, there is also a washing up pack provided and toothbrushes and hairdryer in the bathroom. There is a tv in the lounge and in the bedroom, plenty of hangers in the wardrobe and a lovely king size bed!! Free pool towels provided which are lovely and big. I can’t comment on the food as we went self catering. I honestly cannot find a negative thing to say about this hotel.

Only 30 mins by taxi to Playa Blanca (€55-65) the hotel is set just 100m back from the Rubicon Marina. The hotel itself is 10/10. Totally spotless, modern and fresh, calm and tranquil. Staff lovely. Rooms modern and well equipped. Pool and lounger area stunning. Gardens well maintained. Great snack and drinks bar. Marina itself is gorgeous - so picturesque and feels very up market and ‘exclusive’. Not your usual hoards of riff raff tourists! Enough restaurants to have a new one each night of the week and all well priced. Nice shops to pootle around. Some nice little walks you can do from the marina (there’s a great old castle only 10 mins up the hill!) or from the marina jetty you can go parasailing etc. Plus two supermarkets a stones throw from the hotel that have everything you need (the one inside the shopping centre is much bigger than the one inside the marina). Car hire available from within the marina too and is well worth doing for the day to explore. A stroll further south takes you to a sandy beach (7 mins from hotel). Keep going and you get to playa Blanca (probs 20 mins from hotel in all) where a long row of restaurants line the sea - defo less up market than the Marina by the hotel but we were glad to have strolled there to have 1 evening meal. All in all a faultless hotel and location. One of the few places I’ve gone to that I truly would go back to in a heart beat. Simply perfect.
