Wow! I can honestly say that the Whitsunday Vista Holiday appartments are the first and only place I quite happily and genuinely give a 10 out of 10 rating or a 5 star! What makes the place so wonderful is not only the fantastic view and top location, but mostly the lengths staff will go to, assuring your stay is more than just comfortable but fantastic! You can feel the positive enthusiasm of the team right from the start from reception with Bebe and Robyn through to the exceptional service and cleaning staff. Whether it's a weekend get away or a longer stay for work or leisure, you know you are in good hands for what ever your personal needs may be at the stunning Vista Airlie Beach location where they can arrange and accommodate just about anything or leave you be in peace at the quiet end of town if that's what you wish. With self contained kitchen options and other exceptional facilities, in my 30 years of travelling in 28 countries, Whitsunday Vista appartments are easily comparable to the best globally and what makes the difference is definitely the welcoming service and accessibility but really its the friendly atmosphere created by the people that work there and those who stay there that make this place my personal number 1 go to as a guaranteed wonderful Whitsunday experience!

There isn't a single thing I would complain about. great all round! Perhaps availability of the included free self-serve washing and drying services can be improved by outsourcing the linen cleaning during peak in-house service times.

1 night Room 8s floor 3 Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Explained things clearly. Undercover car park. Where you enter the room there is a washing machine, the driers are in the basement car park both to use free of charge. The room is lovely and bright overlooking a marina and out to sea. The room is in excellent condition a little basic but everything works, no chipped furniture, clean walls and tiled floors. The bathroom is a little dated. The spa bath is wonderful, a little tight for a 1.8 m man and 1.6m woman but nonetheless relaxing. It is surrounded by glass windows which overlook the marina and ocean. Would have been nice to have an exhaust in the room because we couldn’t handle the heat for too long. The reasonable size verandah has a view of the pool and out to sea. Foxtel was advertised but there were no channels on the tv and free to air only had a few stations and none of the 9 stations. Toaster, kettle and microwave are the only cooking utensils. Not overly impressed we had to dispose of our rubbish when we left. I haven’t encountered any other accommodation that asks you to do that. So other than the Foxtel and rubbish gripe overall a pleasant stay didn’t use any of the other facilities. Personally I’d only stay overnight not long term.

Great apartment with everything we needed to be fully self contained yet the price was so decent. Was so good to be able to cook nice meals at home and eat out on the balcony, saving money on meals out so we could spend it on touring the reef. Walking distance to everything. We didn't use our car for the entire week.

We changed the layout and then changed it back when we left Lol. Sorry, but I wanted a view out the windows from the couch and we didn't need the tele.

The view from the corner room on 2nd floor was great: loved looking out over the harbor and estuary. The location was great for access to restaurants, and well-known to tour operators and the parking bay convenient for pickups and drop offs. Bed comfy and fantastic shower pressure, even if it was over the bath. Handy having shared laundry right outside each pair of apartments, especially doing so much water sport. Check in quick and appreciated an early check in.

The apartment is well-worn, the tiled floors in particular have seen better days, but hey, you get what you pay for.

Amazing views. Very friendly staff. Spacious apartment equipped with whatever you need to make a nice meal.Comfortable bed with crispy linen. Good location, short, walking distance to the centre. Bus stop outside the hotel. Lovely swimming pool. Very good Thai restaurant opened for dinners. And once again, amazing views from balcony.

It could be a bit noisy during the day as it is on the main road and there could be a bit of traffic.However, very quiet at night.

The staff were friendly, available, & very helpful ( eg, with Justin coming to sort out our Foxtel issues) Our apartment was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for our weeks’ stay. Bright & sunny with comfortable couch & bed. Our large balcony had extensive views in all directions. I loved the pool - large & deep. Access to all areas, including the car park, was easy, and I didn’t even mind having to take my washing to the basement dryers. It was a short walk to the centre of town, where we were assured of a lively atmosphere with lots of music most nights.

I didn’t like having the shade cloth over the pool - I prefer to swim & exercise in full sun!

The location was great, easy to walk everywhere. The ocean view was lovely and the apartment while not huge was very comfortable. It is a little dated but very clean, bed and sofa comfy, above bath shower but shower was good. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Because they are one bedroom apartments I don't think they get many children staying. Very handy if you're going on any of the ocean going excursions as just across the road from the Port of Airlie.

Door was difficult to open and you had to bang it shut and the toilet sea was loose. Minor issues.

We now have bad arthritic knees so we appreciated the lift up from the ground floor and being able to still get the wonderful view out to sea. The angle of the building shelters the balconies from the stiff Trade Winds. Bus Stop right outside so very convenient.

2 rooms share a separate lobby which has an extra door which seems quite un-neccessary. This lobby has the washing machine there and no fresh air moves around so the smell is quite over powering at times. However, this is not a problem.

Apartment was comfortable and well fitted out, excellent location to access all of Airlie Beach. Staff were so helpful and kindly arranged trips for us as we had been delayed due to being caught up in the cyclone in Cairns. On site parking was a bonus

I chose the apartment specifically for it's location close to the Greyhound bus stop and the Cruise Whitsundays terminal. I wasn't disappointed and the view from the apartment was a real bonus.

It is a short walk into the centre but not really a problem. Although the apartment is self catering I was put off cooking by the warning that the smoke detector was linked to the fire department. If it was set off the fire brigade would automatically arrive at a cost of 860AUD!!!!
