Location was absolutely fabolous. In city center, everything near. Good restaurants next our door. We were checked in earlier, very nice from receptionist (or owner maybe). Beds are comfortable. You have to understand this is historical building in center, so if you expect some modern huge hotel, it is on you. This has atmosphere, it is safe, it is clean and it has the best location in heart of Florence. Breakfast was in nearby cafe. Do not expect some bufet. It is very italian style. Something sweet (donut, cornetto...some other dolce) and coffee. Again, you go there more for vibe than huge portion of food. You are going to like this place, if you are reasonable and cherish traditional accomodation, vibe and you are not brat with unreasonable expectations.

Excellent location. Thoughtful arrival gifts. Nice to have a fridge in the room (it stopped our chocolate from melting!). A great set up for a family of 3 however, I wouldn’t let my younger child sleep on the mezzanine because I was worried he could roll out of bed and then roll off the ledge!! Hotel let us store our bags which was really helpful. There are plenty of restaurants close by, several were quite pricey but we had a lovely, inexpensive meal at San Lorenzo on the street outside the hotel.

The room was quite nice, we received from host water, coffee, a bottle of prosecco, chips.The location was the best part, in the historical city center, only 5 min away from Piazza del Duomo. The breakfast was ok, the typical Italian one - mainly a croissant, a coffee and an orange juice and it was served at a bar, 100 meters away from the location.

The only big thing that bothered us was the industrial AC from the restaurant kitchen below. The noise was unbearable and kept going way past midnight until the restaurant closed 😑 I know this is not something that the Locanda host can control since it's not the owner of the restaurant.

The photos on booking.com for the room we had doesn’t do it justice! The room is so spacious, has a gorgeous hand painted wall in the room, and fresh towels daily. Location is brilliant too, less than 10min walk to the train station. There was a mini Prosecco and crisps in the room for our arrival which was a nice touch!

The only thing to comment on is the noise out to one of the busy streets. We had earbuds for sleeping and we were very tired every night from exploring, so it was not an issue for us.

Stayed for three nights. Bathroom was clean, shower was nice with no lack of hot water. Bed was comfortable and clean. Host is at the facilities in the morning. He was polite and friendly. Location is superb. Right outside is Medicee Chapel and Santa Maria del Fiore is within a five-minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants nearby also.

The location is sandwiched batween two restaurants. The rooms style as lovely and loved the overall interior. There was a fridge as we made are lunches and their was a kettle for are tea/Earl gray which was superb.

The lack of service in the sense of we didn't get showed what we could use outside the room as their was a electric hob/shared area? We where unsure if we could use it, as it would of been nice to cook are own food and not pay €13 to €17 for one pizza in the neighbouring restaurants

I liked our room, our bed was on the loft and a small lounge area downstairs. Perfect location and short walking distance from the main town, leather markets just downstairs too! Breakfast included was a bonus. The staff were super friendly too.

Only downside to this property was our room and bathroom were seperate which I was not aware of, the bathroom was also an extremely hot room. Only downside to our stay.

Location is great. Train station is 7 minutes away and everything is easily accessible. Rooms are big and located in quiet part of the building. Host is very king. We had some incident with our room and we we able to get a different one next day.

It can get very hot inside in summer, especially on upper platform. We had to sleep with the AC on

Nice room and very handy for the train station which was important to us. The location was great, in the city centre around the corner from the market and lots of places to eat nearby.

Minor issue, there was a window that you could look out off. Very minor point for us and not a lot could be done about that anyway.

Perfect location. Room was quite spacious. There was an an external private bathroom which was annoying in the middle of the night as it was down the hall but my fault for not realising when I booked.

Check in was easy however the place was a little hard to find we had to ask one of the restaurants out the front if they knew where this B&B was as there was no signage we could see.
