We ordered a twin room for me and my daughter. We got a very nice room with two separate beds and two tables, two chairs and plenty of cupboard space. The beds were comfortable. We had a private bath room with shower. In addition, there was a small refridgerator to store our food. The hotel has a kitchen facility. Within in a 15 min walk we could reach the center of Salzburg with all of the attractions. The hotel is close to the railway station. We could walk there within 10 min. You might hear the trains passing the bridge, but you get soon used to it. I would recommend to buy a Salzburg card that give you free access for transportation and many museums.

Nice hotel, 20 min walking distance to the center. If you stay overnight in Salzburg you can request a Guest Mobility Ticket pass in the hotel which lets you travel for free inside Salzburg, we did this and it was very convenient. There is a train station a block away which comes handy to go to the Central Station.

I wish we were told about the free transport pass in the Reception of the hotel, but after reading about it and asking, they requested it for us and we were able to travel for free.

Basic hotel but lovely staff and very clean with good facilities. Couple of exceptional restaurants nearby and very short nice walk down the river to the old town and sights. We left our luggage on arrival and staff could not have been more helpful. Thanks to Valentina for the nice view and good contact before our stay. Fridge with water and juice complementary!

Little basic (like a student room) but clean and had a fridge. Just manage expectations. Bin men and train a little noisy.

It's a budget-friendly place that is 15 minutes walk to the old town. Also 10 minute walk to the Augustiner Bräu which was a big plus for us beer fans. It's one S-bahn station away from the Hauptbahnhof which is worth paying the 2.40 euros in my opinion. It's also walking distance to a spar grocery. We used the washing machine and dryer which costs 5 euros per round. Overall, an affordable stay considering that it's so close to the main sights of Salzburg.

Overall, not a lot to complain about. One minor catch was that the bedside drawer had sticky glass stain that was probably overlooked when we checked-in. Nothing that a quick wet wipe couldn't fix but noted that cleanliness didn't get a full marks because of it. But overall, the team came in cleaned up and made our beds which is a nice to come back to after a full day of touring.

Love the location and the cleanliness of the room. Super quiet and conveniently located to the old city - walking distance! Coffee maker, kettle and fridge are in rooms and double rooms are spacious! Supermarket, bakery and coffeehouses are not far for breakfasts and hotel has collected interesting places to visit and made it available for the phone. Free OJ and water in the fridge and apples at the reception!

Property had a shared kitchen but it seemed some people did not think they had to clean their used stuff themselves and left it dirty on the counters. Overall the kitchen was not inviting enough to use it, especially since it lacked items to use (silverware, plates, pots and pans.

Staff are excellent! We met different staff members during our stay and, without exception, they were all very pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and always nicely answer our questions. There was always someone at the front desk. Location is excellent with a reasonable price. The room was very spacious with a beautiful view of the river and mountains. The fridge in our room had complimentary bottles of water and juice, and what we drank was replaced the next day. It was an overall wonderful experience that one rarely finds nowadays.

Mattresses could be better.

We were in Salzburg for a couple of days and I was really happy we chose this place. The location was exceptional: right on the riverside, close to the train station and the old town but still far enough so it was calm at night. We had a riverside view from our window so we had really good air with the breeze coming in. The staff was really nice and helpful too. The community kitchen on the first floor was something I didn't expect but it had a good communal feeling with the dining area. We could happily make breakfast in the morning and enjoy it while looking at the river. Overall we were happy with the Riverside Hotel :)

Kitchenette included, as well as separate communal kitchen along the corridor. Good location - close to trams and in walking distance of major attractions. Fan in room. Free water and orange juice in fridge. Free water and apple at reception.

Kitchenette had no kitchenware at all, so would have had to bring our own or take from the communal one. Seems pointless as may as well just use shared kitchen, uses up space in room. Bed was took high with sunken in mattress so painful wooden edges made it difficult to sit on the edge or get into/out of bed. Also creaked really loudly when moved. Bit noisy with train and man with dog outside at 6am both nights.

Quiet within the hotel. Rather clean. Nice staff. Refill the fridge with complimentary sparkling water, coffee, biscuits and juice every day. Very good Internet connection. In walking distance from the places of interest.

A bit noisy given the people spending night (sleeping and quarreling) on one lawn in the hotel vicinity and because of the bike rides right under the windows, thus preventing us from sleeping with the windows open during the hot summer nights.

Hotel is right next to the walking/bicycling paths along both banks of the river. Convenient to the small Salzburg Mulln-Altstadt railway station, but at the Hauptbahnhoff it wasn't clear how to buy a local ticket so we walked. Mostly residential neighborhood, we ate dinner downtown. Good walking access to the old Salzburg upstream via the paths on both banks.

Rooms were quite compact. It was hot enough to make opening windows desirable, but our rooms were on the side of the building that faced the railway, so there was some noise.
