The apartment was cozy and tidy. The flowers on the outside of the room was very pretty. The apartment has a king bed on the ground floor in a closed room and 3 single beds (1 is in the living room area behind the couch and the other 2 are upstairs in an open attic space), there is 1 toilet, 1 shower room and a vanity. The water pressure was good and hot water came pretty fast. Only 4 people (my parents and their 2 friends) stayed there so there was plenty of space. The kitchen has multiple utensils to cook with, there is a small stove a portable electric pan/pot, jug, toaster and enough plates and cups for even 6 people to use at the same time. There are also things to clean up after we used the kitchen so it's very convenient. Staffs are friendly. Good location. The hotel is close to the train station (10~15 min walk) and there is enough parking space if needed. Despite being on the main road, the noise of traffic isn't a problem, seems to be pretty quite at night. There are plenty of restaurants around New Lynn centre.

Knives in the apartment could be sharpened a bit more. Currently a bit dull to cut fruits. Other than that everything else was nice.

Very close to the airport. Excellent shuttle service to and from the airport. Rooms were small but good. The open kitchen cum living room was good, comfortable beds and linens. Showers and toilets were good.

The check in experience was very dfficult. The check in time was 2 pm. We arrived 1.15 pm but did not get the rooms before 4.30 pm. The staff was not cooperative and behaviour of one of them was bad bordering abusive. Whereas the young lady during our check out was kind and helpful.

Our recent 3 night (weekend) stay was EXCEPTIONAL. The Owner and Staff go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of guests. The units are extremely comfortable, warm/cosy and equipped with everything we needed and I could not fault the cleanliness of our 2 units. It was great to be greeted by staff that are friendly, smiley, and so helpful. Fresh towels, tea towels etc and daily servicing of the units (if we wanted) is a big plus, as not many motels like to offer this. New Haven Motel is our new ‘go to’ when we are in town and New Lynn location suits the people and places we like to visit.

Nothing to dislike about New Haven Motel.

Owner /manager was excellent, he made sure the heater was on for us when we arrived and walked us to our room. Made sure we had everything we needed. The room was comfortable, warm (it was my mid winter), and had nice new carpet. Good facilities in the room - including a decent kitchen, a dining table, and comfy sofas.

Nothing I recall was bad about the place. I think the shower might have been an older style one with separate hot/cold taps instead of a modern shower mixer. That's just nitpicking though.

We used to stay at the New Haven 2-3 times a year visiting family and friends who lived nearby. It has always been a perfect place for us. This was like our second home for about ten years when living overseas. When we returned permanently to live, we had less need to stay until recently and the owner remembered us well and welcomed us warmly. A great location to all the amenities especially for a family of 5.

Nothing. Has everything you need. If there is something, it's easy asking for assistance and it is always fulfilled.

The staff were super helpful and friendly - A+ making our stay very enjoyable and straight forward. This place is excellent value for money and had all the things we needed for a family stay - pool, spa & gym a bonus. We loved the setup of the rooms with loft for the single beds.

The beds weren't super comfy, the shower pressure is weak, and with the room right by the road some of the Sat night road traffic was waking us up.

Nice motel on the western edge of Auckland. Well equipped room. We had a very good stay - used the pool, barbecue and laundry. Staff were very helpful. We were travelling northwest, so good starting point to escape traffic in the morning when we left. If you have some extra time, the Waitakere Ranges park and a visit to Piha beach are well worth it! Very easy drive from the motel.

The room was was well furnished and as we were there for nearly three weeks the staff were more than happy to wash and dry our used clothes whilst we were out and about for the day. Ian and his team could not have been more helpful.

Comfortable. Functional - far more than many luxury hotels we have stayed in - plenty of drawers, hanging space, clothes hangars, iron, ironing board, separate toilet, shower, and fully equipped kitchenette. Staff extremely welcoming and professional. A large variety of good restaurants nearby.

It was located on main road so a little bit of background traffic noise.

I have stayed here before and I wasn't a huge fan, although it was good value. This visit I really enjoyed and it was very cleaning. Facilities were good and the water pressure was great.

The upstairs beds were very hard and uncomfortable but luckily didn't need to sleep on them
