Loved the beautiful views of the ocean. The hotel was a unique space as a restored farmhouse; well-decorated and welcoming with relaxing music playing at the restaurant, bar and patio. Also the staff were very friendly-Bianca was so pleasant and gave us a great tour of the property. We also appreciated the welcome drink. Marianna our server (?) was so down to earth and sincere. Rodrigo was very helpful with arranging activities and booking a spa appt. Also the restaurant had a delicious menu both for breakfast and dinner that we experienced!

There were definitely flies and bird poop around which the staff explained was expected being in the grass/farmland and so many birds flying around. It didn't bother us much as the place was really serene.

We love this place; it's the third time we've come! The first time we stayed, I'd written this: " It was the most lovely, warm environment. There we enjoyed the Turkish Bath, terrific breakfasts, and delicious dinners, as well as the bar, and got lots of help from the owners who gave us tips on where to go, translated Portuguese phrases I wanted to learn to say, made phone calls for us when we needed to swap rental cars (because ours had bad brakes!). It was the best trip I'd taken in years and hope to return soon to the Azores, stay longer, and return to the Sensi." The owners are absolutely delightful; the staff is truly wonderful; the food and drinks are excellent; the place -- and location -- are gorgeous. I would not think twice about recommending the Sensi very highly -- and have! The accommodations are certainly luxurious and comfortable (the mattresses are very good; the pillows are lovely), and the rooms are very clean.

Sensi is an amazing place in a stunning island. The owners are very caring and you can see how they love that piece of paradise. We had the chance to speak with them about their children, their live before Sensi, etc. They were also very helpful when we needed them: one of my tyre exploded during a bike tour and they came to "rescue" me, to drive me safely to the hotel with their car. The staff is also amazing: very sweet and nice in any moment of the day. A big thank you to all of you too. Our early morning flight was delayed by 14h so we decided to go back to the hotel to enjoy our day. They were once again very kind: handing over towels for the swimming pool and the bathroom, but also offering a capuccino when we came back. About the place, so much to be told. But in a few words, well you really feel like home. But on top of that you have a stunning view on the Atlantic and you can watch sunset every night. Rooms are great too as you don't feel like you are in an hotel. Same for the swimming pool (huge one) as nobody is "reserving" a seat leaving a towel at 8am prior to breakfast (we all know how it goes in bigger hotels). Here you have places for everybody so you just have to relax. Also, the restaurant is very good, one one of the best I had at an hotel. I think we tried all the dishes during our stay and we can still reminder all of them! The bar is also great with insane cocktails! So, all in all: amazing!

What a gem of a hotel. Beautifully designed with the most incredible food and warm staff members. It was a home away from home for a long weekend! Loved the spa and sauna, the spacious rooms with wonderful views and the top-notch service. By far the best place to stay on the idea!

Amazing views and very elegant decoration. A fantastic guest services team, always available with great recommendations, and the best barman of the island: Tony! Overall an excellent boutique hotel with great charm, unbelievable location and investment, very attentive staff.

Staff should clean up much faster after guests leave sun beds or tables to avoid empty glasses or towels at various locations. What seems to be missing is an experienced on site hotel manager checking the details to make this place not a 4 but 5 star experience

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Sensi Azores, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food. Each meal was delicious, showcasing a fantastic variety of local flavours and ingredients, prepared to perfection. It was a delightful culinary journey that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit. The spa facilities at the hotel were exceptional. We particularly enjoyed the deep tissue massage, which was truly perfect. It was evident that the therapists are highly skilled and attentive, making it a very rejuvenating experience. The spa itself provided a serene and inviting atmosphere, contributing to a profound sense of relaxation and wellbeing. Overall, our stay was memorable and enjoyable. The combination of delicious food, excellent spa services, and the warmth and professionalism of the staff made our visit truly special. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the experience. We look forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in the Azores.

EVERYTHING! The location is absolutely perfect to balance hikes and hot springs. The sauna, steam room and indoor heated pool was phenomenal for relaxing after a long days of hiking. The onsite property restaurant is incredible. Especially Raquel our waitress, she provided several great recommendations. The included breakfast in the morning has everything you could want. Highly recommend splurging for a room with the private pool on the deck. Made enjoying the sunsets even more wonderful and so refreshing after a long day of exploring. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Sensi was an amazing resort for our honeymoon! We felt at home and relaxed here - from the spacious rooms, to the beautiful grounds, and the great food. We loved our private plunge pool and were so glad we chose a room that included it. The staff were very helpful in tracking all our reservations/activities and helping us with booking them. The resort is in a remote area, but still close to a lot of main sights and ~25 min away from Ponta Delgada. We liked the location because the sunsets on the resort were absolutely breathtaking. We did not want to leave at the end of our five night stay! Overall, I would recommend this resort and the Azores in general for couples that want a mix of relaxation and adventure on their honeymoon!

Because the resort is in a remote area, there are bugs, dirt, and other signs of nature! The housekeeping staff does their best to control this. While this is to be expected given the location, it is something to keep in mind for people looking for a pristine resort. All the activities are off site which was not clear to us when booking. We ended up having to extend our car rental so we could easily get to them. There was also a lot of back and forth with the resort when booking our activities - it would have been helpful to have a more streamlined process.

I don't think I would come back to Sao Miguel and stay anywhere else! Staff is A++, drinks are great and I hope you have an empty stomach in the morning cause breakfast is huge! Super calm and out of the way location, a pretty 25 minutes the airport.

We will have to come back when it's warmer to try the outdoor pool!
