The hotel is amazing, walking in to the beautiful lobby really begins your stay with a sense of luxury. The room was impressive with nice details and plenty of space, a comfortable bed, easy to use controls, and a very spacious bathroom. The piano bar managed by Hans was a great place to relax, and you were made to feel very welcome. You can get a meal in the piano bar or just relax with a drink or 2. The rooftop terrace has an amazing view, but it does get busy, so remember to book if you would like to go here for a meal. The rooftop pool is spectacular and a great place to relax, with the sauna and steam room close by, great for a lazy day at the hotel.

There are 2 things that could be better. The 1st.....we were in our room one of the days when it was serviced, and we watched the 4 wine glasses we had used be just cleaned by hand in the bathroom sink, then dried using one of the unused hand towels that was in the bathroom, maybe un used but it is still a towel in the room where people go to the toilet etc. Is this the same way they were washed before us from the previous occupant of the room? These should be going through a sanitising dishwasher after every use. The 2nd.....When ordering at the pool bar, you can use the QR code to order drinks that are brought to you, but you have to use your credit card and pay a surcharge, there is no option to charge back to your roon, this would be a good addition to this service.

Very modern and innovative. Positioned perfectly.

Whilst the suite was generally clean we did think it could have been better. Lots of finger marks on the main bedroom mirror, very dusty phone console, wine fridge door top dirty. The mini bar fridge was not cooling anything down at all!!!!. On our first night we asked for some ice (because the drinks in the mini bar were warm), housekeeping were very pleasant and efficient and delivered within 5 mins. We asked the same request on our second night and met a very different response!!!!, they were unwilling to deliver without charging us!!!. (Not our fault that the mini bar fridge was hopeless), eventually they reluctantly delivered a glass of ice!!!!!!. We didn’t bother after that episode, we went to the bar and got our own ice. Shame really……

We stayed at The Emporium for a family holiday. It was also our daughter's birthday, and the hotel staff made great efforts to make her feel special. They even found her lost ear ring very promptly. So, a big thank you to the Emporium Hotel's lovely and very friendly staff 🙏😊 . The Terrace rooftop bar is a great dining option, and we had lovely breakfast and dinner there. Once again, hospitality and service were top quality. We had great views of the river from the room on the 16th floor, and the beds were very comfortable. Undoubtedly, the best hotel to stay in the South Bank, having previously stayed at other hotels in South Bank. We will definitely stay again.

Nothing at all ...it is a great hotel to stay.

Room Excellent - had requested a South Bank View but none available when i arrived and no response from an email I had sent well in advance Service from ALL staff was kind & Courteous at all times The Manager Bobby was very attentive in making sure my needs were accommodated & that I enjoyed my stay

Parking Cost too high in my opinion Email responses were lacking Options for Dining were limited due to Gala bookings in Roof Top Bar/and Italian Restaurant - no invitation emailed to me to have the option to join - but The Manager later gave me the option for both as I was travelling by myself. The Wine Bar on the lower floor was closed from new years day onwards which was disappointing as I really enjoyed the ambience of this particular bar, maybe they will consider keeping it open in future.

Everything, it’s a fabulous hotel. The room was large & luxurious with everything you could imagine that you would need - coffee machine with excellent coffee pods, kettle & a nice selection of good teas. There was a wine cooler & fridge & complimentary bottled water. The floor to ceiling windows displayed a great view. The bathroom was large & well laid out with quality toiletries, big fluffy towels & robe & slippers. They have the best concierge team of any hotel that I’ve ever stayed in, notably Nelson who went above & beyond to meet my requirements. He’s a true asset to this business. I’d definitely stay here again.

Nothing, it was wonderful

From the moment we checked in we felt very comfortable, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, the room was stunning and had amazing views and amenities we’re gorgeous, sadly my husband had to be taken to hospital for an emergency which meant we had to leave in an ambulance but we had Danialla the duty manager come and stay with us till it arrived she went above and beyond to help , she even organised room service food , and kept reassuring us both, when we did return in the morning after a very long period in hospital she had arranged for us to have a late checkout so we could rest before heading home , would highly recommend this Hotel for so many reasons , will definitely stay there again !!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Emporium in South Bank, and I must say it was an overall fantastic experience! The hotel boasts an unbeatable location, making it incredibly convenient to explore the vibrant surroundings. Whether you're looking to take a leisurely stroll along the river or visit nearby attractions, you're just steps away from it all. One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning rooftop bar. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and it's the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, making it an ideal place to enjoy a drink with friends or simply take in the scenery. The service at Emporium was exceptional—every staff member was genuinely friendly and eager to help, which made a noticeable difference in our overall experience. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality truly set this hotel apart. Overall, I would highly recommend the Emporium in South Bank to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable stay with fantastic amenities. I look forward to returning in the future!

While we did encounter a couple of minor issues, such as being assigned a room without a bathroom door and experiencing some delays with housekeeping requests, these did not overshadow the positive aspects of our stay. The hotel is well-maintained and offers a great ambiance that more than compensates for these small inconveniences.

The views down the Brisbane River were the best that we have experienced during visits over a number of years. The room design gave an extra feeling of space through the mirror wall, which also emphasised the beautiful view. The staff assisted us beautifully. The concierge arranged our hire car responsibly and in a timely, pleasant and welcoming manner. The front desk staff were extremely efficient and were patient with our request to retrieve some items that we had inadvertently left in the room. The staff in the Terrace restaurant were meticulous in the presentation of a wide variety of food. The breakfasts were an art form! Going up to the pool early in the morning gave us a healthy start and wonderful views.

We took a little time to adjust to the lighting system in the room. Once we mastered it we enjoyed using it.

Walking into the room as the automatic curtains opened to reveal the Brisbane river and city view was spectacular...as if the room itself was welcoming us! We were really impressed with the huge rain shower and spa that included our own private city view. We had to force ourselves out of bed to go and enjoy Southbank which was right out the front! The bed and pillows were so cozy and that's just the standard pillows....there's a menu for pillow selection to suit your own sleeping style!! I personally appreciated the silence Emporium offers. Some hotel rooms can be nice but you can't sleep because of noise. This room made me feel extremely peaceful. The staff were amazingly attentive. I asked for some shaving gear and was instantly handed a box of quality items. Upstairs at the bar and pool, the view blew our minds as we swum together like we were swimming between the buildings of Brisbane city. Absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was top shelf delicious. Even the elevators are super cool!...(you have to see them to understand!). Emporium's location to the art galleries, bars, restaurants and parklands of Southbank made all our plans so easy and the free ferry service on the river means you can access many areas of Brisbane city and the river with ease, no need for taxis or Ubers. Highly recommend Emporium's value for location, comfort, peace and relaxation. When I return to Brisbane with my fiancé, I'll be looking to make a booking at Emporium. Perhaps as man & wife!

The lighting options and digital switches took a bit of getting used to and I personally think there should be a little more to choose from on the room service menu. That said, we chose a pizza and wondered why we went to an outside restaurant for dinner, we could have spent more time in that awesome king size bed!

Exceptional staff willing to go the extra mile! Wonderful room amenities- infinity pool, quality restaurant, pillow menu, opulent interior design, full mini-bar, turn down evening service with Lindt chocolate, sound proof rooms even though next to train, tram and Southbank restaurants. French cafe treats and coffee downstairs. Walking distance to 50 metre pools, Southbank lagoon, Brisbane Casino. Fabulous location for inner city hiking.

I wish I had known about this property earlier.
