The staff were extremely helpful, and the breakfast was very much worth it. A perfect start to the day. This hotel is a really good jump off destination because it was very close to the train station. It is a 5-minute walk, if that. 2 more minutes, and you were in the center of the old town where all the historical sites are. The accommodations are perfect for a family on vacation. Not overly fancy, just clean and comfortable.

From the moment we arrived. We were impressed with the hotel. It was a short walk from the train station, and easily accessible to access while travelling with large suitcases. We were greeted by the most beautiful and helpful staff, in particular Rae. We enjoyed that Rae personally took us up to our room, to show us our room and its features. The daily breakfast was excellent, with a choice of freshly made items, included omletes and scramble eggs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would love to go back. Will highly recommend this hotel.

Family room is actually 2 rooms attached, this is amazing! We had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the benefit of being together with the privacy of a separate room. The kids key/necklace is a great idea - my kids loved it and were very independent. The location is walking distance from everything, we didn't need any public transportation (that is free with the room, btw!) Coffee machine in the room, free drinks in the minibar, smiling staff. 10/10.

Staff is very helpful and friendly all round. Drinks in the room fridge were included and restocked on room clean. Nice of the staff to give is some bottles of water on checkout for the rouad trip.

The initial room was quite small, without any space for the dog to sleep without being stepped on. We paid for an upgrade, and the new room was excellent. There was some confusion with the breakfast, while being checked in, we were told that we had breakfast included but that was not correct. There are electric chargers available for cars, but this somehow not worked, and the car was not charged when we left after two days.

The hotel is very well located, closed to the train station, just around 7 minutes walk to the city centre. The young lady from the reception (sorry for forgetting her name) was extremely helpful and kind, providing all the information related to trips, and booking tickets. I arrived earlier, very tired and I could check in. The breakfast was diverse and very good quality. The room was modern, fresh, quiet, coffee/tea maker, complimentary water, and juice available. Free water bottles and apples are also available at the reception.

The only downside, yet expected, was the small size of the single room.

Lovely staff who made us feel welcome. The location is great (not far from the station) Rooms comfy and clean. The bar staff were very nice and the restaurant very lively

The basic rooms are small. If you have more than one suitcase it's a struggle to open both at once and not feel cramped. The heating is a radiator with thermostat. We found it hard to get a uniform temperature throughout the night. You do get noise from other doors in the corridor closing and room cleaning.

This hotel was in a great location, about a 10 min. walk from the train station. I liked that it was close to a major bus line. Staff members were helpful. Beverages in the room refrigerator were included in the price I paid. There was complimentary coffee, tea, and water (regular and sparkling) available 24/7 in the lobby.

The price, but all prices in Lucerne are higher than other areas of Europe.

Liked how clean and environmentally sound the room was. It was a lovely big well appointed room. The shower was amazing. Pillows were great!

It was to single beds next to each other. With their own sheet and doona - not a double/large bed. Their was only 2 towels, which makes it hard when washing/drying your hair, and would have been good if their was an iron and ironing board. I understand wanting a light footprint/ but these are the things that would have made our stay better :) but it was still very lovely!!

Good choice at breakfast. Liked the waterfall themed decor in the room. Comfortable room and had a small balcony which was nice to sit out on. Free water/soft drinks in the mini fridge daily. Friendly staff. Easy to walk along road at side of the railway station past Burger king and Migros to get to hotel, its not very far away.
